thank you peter, my son aged 31 is in hospital on respirator and as a dad this is devestating to me. watching your videos bring somewhat a moment of peace in my head some tranquility in my life at the moment so thank you.
Knowledge of style in Bonsai is very important ? what I like about Peter and his team is ,they encourage you to find the trees style that will work for you, gently pointing/ helping the Doctor find what he likes for his trees. Both trees are very nice and should grow on to be stunning . Great video Peter ,coffee drunk now going out to check on my trees and my Koi.
Sunday Breakfast with Peter has now entered its 3rd year 👍 May I wish you all a Happy New Year and you find happiness (either in odd wellies or in a shiny black Ferrari)
That first tree makes me realize how many plants I overlook when going to retail garden centers looking at different material. I would have taken one glance at that juniper and thought it was just a ground cover plant and not even taken a second to look at the trunk. This might completely change how I shop for plants in the future. Happy New Year Peter, and the whole Heron's team!
Great work on both trees. The first one was tricky with a very crowded trunk area. Once you removed the crossing branches it made the trees eventual view easier to see. I like the way you talk through the process out loud, it catches things we might be thinking as we are watching. Great work as always, and thanks for your help 😃
Thank you, Teacher, your gift of instruction and artistry is enriching to our lives. Also thank you Dr. Masoud for the work you do in your profession and for being a wonderful example of an eager and teachable student.
Thank you from North Carolina in the USA! I always come to your site whenever I want to learn something -or feel bad about my little tree art skills… 😆 ✌🏼
😁 I was crossing my fingers hoping for a Mame size with the first tree, and literati for the second one..but it's just me 😁. Thx for sharing Peter, and happy new year to all 🙏. Cheers
Thank you, Peter, and the surgeon for opening up my interest in using Juniper in my future bonsai styling options. Living in the Rocky Mountain range there are so many choices of Juniper/Pine material options to work with. Dr Masoud seems to be a rather creative Bonsai enthusiast, it was interesting to see his way of using tools within the creative process.
Great start to the year. I love getting notifications of a new video. Love how these projects turn out and how it gives me more confidence in my tree work. Thank you for sharing and all the best too everyone
Happy New Year Peter. Thanks for a 2021 full of wonderful tutorials and content. Much health, happiness, and success in the new year. Thanks, keep growing
I think that the Juniper was quite good. It's difficult to decide what to take off. I had a similar problem. The one is lovely. I think I would have tilted it a bit too the right so that the left side of the crown became the apex and then arrange the branches to suit. I have a literati scots pine I may do that to.
Its amazing how you and your buddy turned this f'ugly little bush into a beautiful little tree. I'm sure it will look amazing for decades! Edit: As for tree number two, its amazing how well shaped a piece of material can become, just with time in the field and a pot to keep it from going wild. This makes me wanna try putting a few trees in the ground to thicken up in the spring, but with a big stone slab under them in the prayer that i can lift them some day.
It's risky business. But, if you walk along the interstate, sometimes you can find junipers that have been cut down by the city over the years. They have huge stalks and make great bonsai material.
Can someone help me I have a ficus and it sudennly started loosing green leaves i water it nearly every second day it gets a lot of light and has no pests
Many ask where i get my trees from and don't believe me when i say i buy "bushes" from local nurseries. I'm just going to show them this video to demonstrate what I do.

Hello Peter, I have a video request, could you make a video focusing only on Arakawa Maples ?
Much appreciated
Regards
Nicholas
We have hundreds of Arakawa maples in our field - so I will get round to doing that for you.
First tree looked a bit tricky but turned out great ..👍
Great work
Nice video as always, would you say that you could have these indoors by any chance?
No Not for indoors
Nice , verry nice! thanks Grtz
Hi! How old need to be thr plant to cut it, I mean start doing the bonsai? Thank you in advance!
Nice, good job!
Regarding root work and repotting for Juniper and Pine? Can it be done at this time of year in the UK and Ireland climates?
You can but protect from frost if you are repotting now.
@@peterchan3100 Thank you. There's a little bit of space left in the glasshouse. I'll see what happens 😁
I think he is best student
Yes drum mica

Most of my trees were collected like this.
Very nice
dame joftetoon garm 👏👏
Can someone help me
I have a ficus and it sudennly started loosing green leaves i water it nearly every second day it gets a lot of light and has no pests
May be not enough light but some varieties of Ficus do lose their leaves in winter. Some in fact lose all their leaves. Where do you live?
In Germany
Many ask where i get my trees from and don't believe me when i say i buy "bushes" from local nurseries. I'm just going to show them this video to demonstrate what I do.

I like a bondai
🔥💕👌👍
16:23 to 16:25 really bad edit. Big transformation to the bonsai. Why can’t we see what you did. Otherwise really great video. Thank You
If I had more helpers around to do the filming that might have helped - but what did you not like about this video?
@@peterchan3100 I always give you thumbs up and an a loyal subscriber. Great Stuff here. Thank You
