This card, for me, tickles that itch the same way Doom 2099 does. While they can carry their own weight, the fact that they are able to buff OG Cards like Steve Cap and Doctor Doom just adds a nice touch. This is actually the first time I'll buy a season pass since I've started playing Snap back last May.

You beat that by 6-8 hours (and do it consistently!) you will have a nice timeslot before them that will get a lot of free views for people wanting cutting edge decks in the US early Friday night. You beating the US streamers by 6-8 hours should be a sweet leg up considering your time zone.
I really really like Captain America Sam Wilson, and he's definitely worth getting, and he seems like a really fun card, but he looks a bit on the weaker side, i think he might need a bit of a buff, like; -he starts in your hand, or, -draw him on turn 2, or, -you can move the shield without Sam Wilson on the board, or, -throw the shield to a random location, only when you play him, so it would not take the precious board space if you dont draw him or just dont want to play him.
This is an insane card for traditional ongoing, which already got a whole lot better recently with buffs for Mister Fantastic, Miss Marvel, Spectrum and the introduction of Moon Stone. It’s also a casual 2/8 as long as you can play him on either turn 2 or turn 3. It isn’t even that strict of a requirement and the juggling of locations seems easy if you keep it in mind. The clogging is trickier, but I don’t think it’s a huge issue for most decks. Might end up being the best generic 2-drop in the entire game if we are talking about strict power dumping. If you ask me, the card is being majorly slept on so far as a “generic good card”. Although I will admit it’s hard to beat Iron Patriot, which is one of the most busted “goes into everything” cards we’ve had since OG White Widow. That said, I do not at all believe this card will require the other Cap to function. It’s very much good enough alone, even if the combo of all of them together seems insane. I trust my gut. He’s good.

As much as I want the patch to have the datamines for April, I'll be quite surprised if it does because it's 2 months in advance of the actual season coming out. Then again.. we did get the march cards leaked a few weeks ago in early January. I'm sure we'll 100% be getting the datamines for the rest of the march cards like Khonshu, Agamotto, and possible even Ghost, the First Rider but after the Marvel Rivals December season taking like two months to actually get datamined, I'm very cautious of datamines. Especially for ones that are two months advanced. I know that season took so long to get datamined because it was a crossover, but it gives me flashbacks thinking of it since it just took so damn long 😭😂

In the U.S. I tend to call any inflatable structure that kids are meant to jump around in a bouncy house. Don’t think people would call them Bouncy castles even if it looks like a castle lol unless it’s a specific inflatable they’re talking about

I very much like how they approach name specific archetypes. They just replaced “this” with the characters name and it works. Work smart, not hard. Oh and probably this card will be fcking everywhere
Definitely grabbing this simply because it has no replacement. Even Iron Patriot who is a really solid card can be replaced by several cards. There is no replacement for Sam Wilson.

I'll get the pass because the currency that comes with it has some measure of value. The season pass card is neither fun nor meta changing. I haven't used captain America since I was in pool 1.
It's a great question, and I considered it, but as the others have pointed out, my primary consideration was that the shield can't be distrayed. There's certainly scenarios where your opponent will remove the ongoing ability, and then destroy it, however that means they've spent a lot of resource to deal with the shield, so by that point it's not a truly worthwhile or realistic counter.
Almost no card in the game right now is “even close to Iron Patriot”. Iron Patriot is busted. That doesn’t make this new card bad at all. If anything, once Iron Patriot is nerfed, I recon this will literally be the best generic 2-drop in the game.
@@LFanimes333 Not really, the problem is that Cap's shield and cap himself are both so low power that they are easy to target. You could say the same thing about Kate's arrows but A) You get two of them and you can't make both targets and B) Acid Arrow goes to the opponent. Meanwhile, RG could target either cap himself or his shield and he will be pretty bad. Also, since Kate herself is an on reveal, she can serve as a lightning rod for RG in a pinch if you don't have a one drop like Zabu readily available and you don't wanna use an arrow for that. So all this means that while they both are not good into red guardian like a lot of stuff, Kate I'd say gives more utility against him than Sam
