- Charlie and I pick up a 1986 Honda xr100 and we take it for a rip. Brad stops over and buys the Honda ct70. I pick up a Honda helix moped for cheap.

I had a 1990 xr100 growing up and had some really fun times with it. These bikes are a blast!
$300 that's really good, here in the UK motocross bikes are a lot more than they used to be. They used to go for the hundreds but now it's thousands.

You guys don't empty out the bad gas before you test ride these bikes from the 80's? So it just ends up going through the carb and ruining it when you could have just empty the tank and put fresh gas in and then you won't have to rebuild the carb. If the gas is really bad it can mess up your rings and just gunks up everything inside your engine. If Gas sets long enough it actually turns into a powder. I had a 87 XR80 growing up and that thing was Bulletproof. Good vid

86 xr100 was my first bike had a lot of fun on it wasn’t as clean but didn’t smoke

That was my first bike almost exactly, had a 1989 bought it for 350 cleaned the carb and it ran damn good. I tried to destroy that bike and it just wouldn't die for the longest time at one point the cam journals got so worn from overheating that i couldn't stand the smacking noise so then... i sold it for 350 in 3 days and had "not running" in the ad. best bike ever
a shame that you sold it. new cam would've been worth it.

My first bike was a Honda XL 1985 man I loved that thing it was quick for an XL and had nice power the compression was crazy on it also and I beat that thing to death but I took good care of it never had any major problems and it usually started on the third kick
This particular Honda XR looks a lot like my XL only smaller

On those bikes the choke comes on abd thats probably why its bogging just use a hair alas tic to keep the choke off
you can lift the honda xr100 with honda cr85r suspension
I just got a 2005 ttr90 for $400 and it runs great just smokes a little more than your bike. Just wondering on how you got it to stop smoking and stinking?? Thanks
Needs carb rebuilt and get rid of that gas. Also check for a clog in gas line also change oil few few times lol
I recomend puting sea foam in it becase i had a 95 xr100 and when i put sea foam in it it ran a lot better👍

When i was there age back in way old 2002. I had 2 1976xt500's. Both at different times.. paid 100for first 1 and 200for second.. ended ul selling them ..Now the frames ALONE are going 1k. Man. I have 92lt250r. And 01 shee. Both need top ends. But cash is short..these boy's have some bikes that are very very rare. Hope they hang onto good one's
