Grew up in Southill Limerick then took myself to California with $2 I’m my pocket . I was able to win the Mr. Ireland bodybuilding championships then went on to compete many times in the Mr. American. My poor upbringing thought me to climb as high as I can as I know what’s it like to be at th bottom . Over 39 yrs later I’m stlll in California . Fond memories of Limerick
@@CaseyKCRichards Really happy for you, hard place to leave, it's still home with nowhere quite like it, glad life's working out for you! You gotta put yourself in the right spot to meet the right people also so congrats, hard work and a dream do pay off!
The carbon nonsense is just a tool to blame us peasants while the elites pushing it carry on with their lavish lifestyles, time to wake up to the truth.
I always thought that Limerick in some ways has a more 'urban' vibe (in the best sense) than my own hometown of Cork, even; and certainly more than Galway, which (I'm generalizing here, obviously) I've always found to be a little bit 'up itself'.
I also grew up in the slums of Limerick very oppressed I went to London got educated became a nurse got married and went to live in Japan Japan is my home in spite of a deprived oppressive upbringing I've had a great life my family live in Limerick I never hear from them and when I visit I'm not wanted there I have no desire to ever go back there 😢 For people who live in such small narrow thinking
Looking at the men's clothing in the shop windows, does anyone remember one such shop called Town Tailoring, I think it was on Cecil Street, it was a basement shop.
I miss my old home miss limerick RIP Mum and Dad …

Yes, Galway is up itself but not because of Galwegians, but because of Dublin people treating it as Dublin West.
I'd agree it's more urban, but being from here I'd argue that's not a positive
