Determination, lots of sacrifices, patience and tolerance you name it- those are the tools you must equipped yourself to battle your way in to that goal. I just wanna comment about bike po. I live here in Alberta for 12 yrs now and have family here too. Siguro sa Vancouver Island eh uso po ang bike for transport, places to places but not in all parts of Canada. Just to correct you on that. In winter months we won’t be able to use bike, but cars is an essential part of your expense. Good luck on your Canada journey ❤ by the way, Alberta can be most of time -50 /55 in winter just for everyone info.

To let you know guys Victoria I may say is one of the high cost of living here in Canada because of tourist attraction (one of most visited place), very good weather round the year and one of the most good retirement place.

I think we cant compare the immediate situation where we come from like sa Dubai kasi stable na nung umalis. Wag icompare sa beginning sa Canada kasi start from ground. Pede mo compare later on spending the same amount of time in both country.

High standard living diyan sa Vancouver. Toronto and Vancouver ay parehas. Sa Montreal Quebec ako less cheaper than Vancouver. Kanya lang bilingual kami rito french English. 40 years na kami rito . good luck sa inyo .Welcome sa 🇨🇦 Canada. Ang foods naman dito ay in one month sa amin ay 250 dollors a months expensive talaga diyan dahil galing ako diyan noon .sa downtown ako nakatira .hindi ako nagtagal diyan almost one year lang at lumipat ako rito sa Montreal.

Dating nurse Yong sister ko at matagal na nag work as a nurse sa Saudi and my brother in law naman na engineer sa Pinas and also has working experience in abroad. Until my brother in decided to go to Canada and petition ang mag ina.Siyempre pag dating sa Canada iba and they both started from the bottom. To shorten the story they both went back to school. Canadian citizen na sila ngayon. Both are working in a Federal Govt. hospital. Dami ding sacrifice ng sister ko until now double job. And my pamangkin nag aral na ng nursing.Kaya kabayan I know na kaya niyo din at Makakaraos din kayo. Good luck and God Bless

nag work din ako sa qatar ng 4 years bago ako nag move sa Chicago. galing din ako dyan sa Vancouver after kong bisitahin mga relatives ko dyan sa Alberta hehe 🙃 imagine from Chicago to Toronto kasi my pinsan ako sa Toronto tas after Toronto edmonton kasi my pinsan din ako sa Edmonton tas direcho sa Alberta pero 90 percent ng relatives ko nasa Alberta tas after ng Alberta binisita ko din pinsan ko dyan sa Vancouver bago ako umuwi ng Chicago haha 😂 ang haba ng driving ko pero sulit naman ang bakasyon haha 😂 tas last year yong iba kong pinsan dyan napadpad sa Winnipeg at Manitoba kaya my bago nanaman bibisitahin hehe 🙃

Of course, Victoria, BC is expensive. First of all, it’s an island. Every necessities are shipped. Island living is expensive anywhere in the World. Just like Philippines 🇵🇭 it’s ridiculously expensive.

imagine from Chicago to Toronto kasi my pinsan ako sa Toronto tas after Toronto edmonton kasi my pinsan din ako sa Edmonton tas direcho sa Alberta pero 90 percent ng relatives ko nasa Alberta tas after ng Alberta binisita ko din pinsan ko dyan sa Vancouver bago ako umuwi ng Chicago haha 😂

tas last year yong iba kong pinsan dyan napadpad sa Winnipeg at Manitoba kaya my bago nanaman bibisitahin hehe 🙃

Of course, Victoria, BC is expensive. First of all, it’s an island. Every necessities are shipped. Island living is expensive anywhere in the World. Just like Philippines 🇵🇭 it’s ridiculously expensive.

I work Full-Time po, pursuant to a temporary rule na narelease ng IRCC this year. Siguro approx 20% ng total income namin mag-asawa. Hope this helps po ☺
