When Zeynep came to the lake, I don’t think Halil was avoiding her because he was being petty. I think he was scared she was going to say something even worse and he couldn’t bare the thought that she wanted nothing to do with him, so he stranded to run. Hearing her apologize stopped him in his tracks, because it gave him hope. They were so sweet and careful with each other through that conversation. At the end when he pretended he had nothing to forgive cause he didn’t remember what she said, and she pretended she never said anything .. 😭🫶 that is what true love is all about. Halil told her in the hospital that a love should be new. Unblemished, untarnished, with age. That he thought this was a real virtue, to keep it in its newest form always, and this argument that they handled so beautifully was a great start to that kind of love.

Like realistically, and I am up for a discussion... Zeynep fell in love with Halil over the time, their relationship became very important and strong over the time, they started care for each other at first, then it became deeper and deeper. She's already forgave Halil for all the horrible thing he has done. She did not forget them, obviously, but if she's in love with him and so excited that he loves her back, she forgave him for all that. So what's the difference if she knows the reason behind his bad behaviour. I mean... I feel like it even gives more clarity and a way to forgive, yes, he did believe someone so kind could be capable of treating his mother badly, but she knew already that whatever she did he never believed her words at the beginning, when she learns that Rüzgarli Tepedeki kid thought she and her family destroyed his family, she will finally understand the reasons behind it at least. But it also finally gives her the possibility to understand his motives finally. And yes, he destroyed them for nothing, he treated them horribly out of reasons that turned out to be wrong, destroyed their lives, we can say... but he's trying to make it wrong, he won't change that, but he can be better. He's better. And if he didn't come and destroy their lives... they would never meet again, Selma would marry the asshole Feyyaz and never meet our boy Eren... Like... in the end, what does it really change?
Well said... Zeynep is in love with Halil. Her love is made deeper by him being the boy who saved her. She remembers his bad deeds but has obviously forgiven him for the most part or enough to enjoy being with him. Knowing about the revenge would at least explain why he behaved badly with her. Halil should tell her his life story first, then tell her about his mother and father, and then the revenge. Eventually, she will forgive him.
Agree with both of you. It doesn't make sense to me, plot-wise. Surely zeynep will also feel this and hilal will realise he was fearful for nothing. The only way the script writers can make a drama out of it is by zeynep thinking that a revenge motive was sadistic and cruel. Like the premeditated nature of it made it worse than not knowing what drove his inconsistent actions
Yes they will eventually be together and that’s great. But like many others, you are making excuses for his behaviour and downplaying it. So what if Selma met Eren, that doesn’t mean she deserved to have her engagement ruined. Selma could have met Eren a different way. Halil could have met Zeynep a different way, which he did before he knew who she was. He could have not listened to his sadistic aunt, and investigated and found out it wasn’t Zeynep. You’re going too far to justify and downplay his actions - which are not just some ‘bad things’ - it was actual ABUSE including VIOLENCE, humiliation, false imprisonment including her thinking he was going to rape her. So you don’t need your downplay all of that just to say ‘but.. he’s trying to make it right’ - you mean the bare minimum?? You want your give him credit for doing the only right thing by atoning for his actions. You don’t get credit for doing the right thing, when the wrong thing shouldn’t have been done in the first place. And again, the idea that his revenge plan must ‘needed’ to happen is ridiculous. It’s like people who get cheated on by their husbands and then are pressured to see it as a positive because the husband loves them more after cheating. Ridiculous He could have loved her regardless. And Halil could have met Zeynep regardless. She didn’t have to earn this love story with her trauma (as the doctor says which you guys downplay as ‘sure he did some bad things’, and trains if her family . Her mother had a HEART ATTACK, her grandmother’s dementia got worse. These are not small things. They didn’t need to happen. Life doesn’t work that way - where we get to do deliberately malicious things and the make excuses and say, ‘oh it HAD to happen this way, good thing I did those horrible things to you, now get over it’. Those are just convenient excuses. Even Halil doesn’t excuse his actions but so many if you guys do. It’s sad. Go back and watch older episodes cause you clearly forgot and don’t want to acknowledge all that he did.
@@FayEdelbi You made good points about the revenge plot. Probably when Halil tells her about his revenge/his mother he won't tell her about his father. Zeynep's character is someone who asks a lot of questions but doesn't ask Halil about his parents. I think when Zeynep finds out about his mother her focus after she feels sympathy for his loss and the trauma to his family and the tragedy of how it happened and then there will be anger toward him for thinking it was her and not directly asking her or giving her a chance to defend herself. I don't think Zeynep will think about Halil's father while everything is being revealed about his mother. When Zeynep finds out that Halil hates and blames her father for sending his father to jail which then causes the domino effect of having his father die in jail and his mother have a stroke and then die, I think Zeynep will then possibly take be beyond angry with Halil and might cause her to want a divorce (I think they will be married when she finds out about her father).

Like realistically, and I am up for a discussion... Zeynep fell in love with Halil over the time, their relationship became very important and strong over the time, they started care for each other at first, then it became deeper and deeper. She's already forgave Halil for all the horrible thing he has done. She did not forget them, obviously, but if she's in love with him and so excited that he loves her back, she forgave him for all that. So what's the difference if she knows the reason behind his bad behaviour. I mean... I feel like it even gives more clarity and a way to forgive, yes, he did believe someone so kind could be capable of treating his mother badly, but she knew already that whatever she did he never believed her words at the beginning, when she learns that Rüzgarli Tepedeki kid thought she and her family destroyed his family, she will finally understand the reasons behind it at least. But it also finally gives her the possibility to understand his motives finally. And yes, he destroyed them for nothing, he treated them horribly out of reasons that turned out to be wrong, destroyed their lives, we can say... but he's trying to make it wrong, he won't change that, but he can be better. He's better. And if he didn't come and destroy their lives... they would never meet again, Selma would marry the asshole Feyyaz and never meet our boy Eren... Like... in the end, what does it really change?
Well said... Zeynep is in love with Halil. Her love is made deeper by him being the boy who saved her. She remembers his bad deeds but has obviously forgiven him for the most part or enough to enjoy being with him. Knowing about the revenge would at least explain why he behaved badly with her. Halil should tell her his life story first, then tell her about his mother and father, and then the revenge. Eventually, she will forgive him.

Agree with both of you. It doesn't make sense to me, plot-wise. Surely zeynep will also feel this and hilal will realise he was fearful for nothing. The only way the script writers can make a drama out of it is by zeynep thinking that a revenge motive was sadistic and cruel. Like the premeditated nature of it made it worse than not knowing what drove his inconsistent actions
Yes they will eventually be together and that’s great.
But like many others, you are making excuses for his behaviour and downplaying it. So what if Selma met Eren, that doesn’t mean she deserved to have her engagement ruined. Selma could have met Eren a different way.
Halil could have met Zeynep a different way, which he did before he knew who she was. He could have not listened to his sadistic aunt, and investigated and found out it wasn’t Zeynep.
You’re going too far to justify and downplay his actions - which are not just some ‘bad things’ - it was actual ABUSE including VIOLENCE, humiliation, false imprisonment including her thinking he was going to rape her.
So you don’t need your downplay all of that just to say ‘but.. he’s trying to make it right’ - you mean the bare minimum??
You want your give him credit for doing the only right thing by atoning for his actions. You don’t get credit for doing the right thing, when the wrong thing shouldn’t have been done in the first place.
And again, the idea that his revenge plan must ‘needed’ to happen is ridiculous. It’s like people who get cheated on by their husbands and then are pressured to see it as a positive because the husband loves them more after cheating. Ridiculous
He could have loved her regardless. And Halil could have met Zeynep regardless.
She didn’t have to earn this love story with her trauma (as the doctor says which you guys downplay as ‘sure he did some bad things’, and trains if her family .
Her mother had a HEART ATTACK, her grandmother’s dementia got worse.
These are not small things. They didn’t need to happen. Life doesn’t work that way - where we get to do deliberately malicious things and the make excuses and say, ‘oh it HAD to happen this way, good thing I did those horrible things to you, now get over it’. Those are just convenient excuses.
Even Halil doesn’t excuse his actions but so many if you guys do. It’s sad. Go back and watch older episodes cause you clearly forgot and don’t want to acknowledge all that he did.
@@FayEdelbi You made good points about the revenge plot. Probably when Halil tells her about his revenge/his mother he won't tell her about his father. Zeynep's character is someone who asks a lot of questions but doesn't ask Halil about his parents. I think when Zeynep finds out about his mother her focus after she feels sympathy for his loss and the trauma to his family and the tragedy of how it happened and then there will be anger toward him for thinking it was her and not directly asking her or giving her a chance to defend herself. I don't think Zeynep will think about Halil's father while everything is being revealed about his mother. When Zeynep finds out that Halil hates and blames her father for sending his father to jail which then causes the domino effect of having his father die in jail and his mother have a stroke and then die, I think Zeynep will then possibly take be beyond angry with Halil and might cause her to want a divorce (I think they will be married when she finds out about her father).
