I always wanted a job like this since I was most young, no matter the abuse guests would have given me. I just wanted to be goofy as a tune and make kids smile. That sounds so wonderful.
Sylvester went to my hospital when I was 10. I was dieing of phenomena and had bout 2 days to live because my immune system wasn't fighting it, it was so awesome his visit...I will never forget that day. Guess it kept me going my spirits lifted; the human brain is a powerful thing.
I wish some of those Characters made more Regular appearances at any of the Six Flags Theme Parks (like Elmer Fudd, Gossamer, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian, Speedy Gonzales, Pepe Le Pew, Porky Pig, Petunia Pig, Granny, etc.)!
@Pooleman96 Not at Fiesta Texas. We have Scooby and Scrappy Doo wandering about the park, but none of the other Hanna Barbara toons or Tiny Toons or Animaniacs. Dunno about other parks.
This is Six Flags - Fiesta Texas, located in San Antonio. I think it's the smallest park in size now that Astroworld is closed. It is, however a very good park, and has been recognized for several years in a row for Best Entertainment/Shows.
Actually,Gossamer first appeared in "Hair-Raising Hare" where Bugs was lured into a trap by a Mad Scientist to be eaten by him. He appeared again later in "Water Every-Hare". In both of those cartoons,he went by the name of Rudolph. He wasn't called Gossamer officially in cartoons until the 'Duck Dodgers' sequel mentioned just now.
@Gazurella OMG I'm so asking about Gossamer tomorrow then! Indeed, we actually got a big talking to this year about how to behave and to be vigilant of our toons and the guests. Still not perfect, as one person can only do so much, but I certainly don't like anyone abusing the toons on my watch.
@Italychan I noticed that too. I didn't realize Marvin Martian would be so TALL. And Gossamer is smaller than I would have though. Tweety I think is our smallest toon
Is it just me,or does Elmer Fudd have a REALLY big head? Also,I like how Gossamer(the big red monster,it's cool that they have him) is dancing around like crazy. LoL!
How long ago was this? They don't have a LOT of these characters anymore. They've been talking about bringing some of them back. I can't wait to see them do just that. I don't recall them doing this, unless it was in February when they opened briefly on the weekends or if they did it earlier today when they officially opened the park full time...though they might do it tomorrow [first open Monday]. Ah, sorry about that. Must've misread your comment. :) Living here, people don't even know of this park. Most just know of the Arlington one, and some Astroworld. And yes, we are the entertainment park. I miss it, I was part of that group last year, and it was a blast. ;)
@danasfamily2 I think the only EVERDAY Toons are: Bugs, Daffy, & Mr. Six. Most of the other characters switch out throughout the week. There's the Justice League, Foghorn Leghorn, Porky & Petunia Pig, Tweety, Sylvester, and Taz this year. Lola Bunny joined the Show Toons show though. Oughta be fun to see her there now.
lookin forward to meeting wile e coyote, road runner odin the tiger hopefully merlin the dolphin don't know if they have him or odin in the six flags in san antonio, hope so.
Ok, you guys had a better morning show than SFOT! You guys actually look like you're having fun, unlike us being stuck on the front stage in the dead heat! We never got to pull Gossamer out for it either, so guys rule in my book!! How is you're LT program down there anyway?

@wiley207 Didn't know THAT bit of trivia. I've seen him in a few episodes though, but not that one. Marvin Martian has those giant Martian bird things and apparently now a dog. Duck Dodgers was awesome though. Saw an ep with that. They should so do Daffy as Duck Dodgers in the park LOL
