If you look into the gaming benchmarks of those CPUs you're gonna find out, that Intel still has that little bit of edge (~10fps), but it average fps hovers around 150 on average in almost every game (depending on the resolution as well). I would go with the AMD one, since it has a lower price and you can use productivity apps too with more efficency than with the blue team processors. Stability wise I can't give an opinion, because I don't have a new system to experience these things first hand. My 11 year old Gigabyte motherboard is going strong with an i7 2600, running every game on High with a GTX 980 1080p@60. You don't really need the top of the line hardware to have a great gaming experience. You could do a bit a futureproofing also with the AMD one. TLDR: AMD price lower, more productive, Intel +10 fps. Imo all mobos do the job.
Much better save money with a Ryzen 5 3600 and spend more money with GPU, of course Ryzen 5 3600 + RTX 2080S have much more FPS compared with RTX 2060 + i7-9700K

If you ran it 24 hours a day 7 days a week for an entire 365 day/8760 hour year, the cost difference is about $30. And that’s the most extreme figure you can do. 108$ for a non stop year for the i5 and 74$ for the 3500x.

@@kevinyoliveira68 Lower clocked Coffee Lake CPUs are still very efficient, a stock 8600k (basically same as 9600k) draws only close to 50% of the power of 2600x while gaming. 8600k draws 36.9w in PUBG, while 2600x draws 61.5w. Check Gamer's Nexus' 2600x review for the power draw numbers, can't post a link here. Sadly GN doesn't have 3600x power draw numbers to compare, but they should be pretty close.

Intel isn’t that ahead now. Amd’s Zen 3 architecture is already beating some intel’s 10th gen chips in benchmarks. While Intel still have issues on their 10nm chips, AMD will go on 5nm on their 5000 series. Intel really needs to change their way of operating.

Those power draw numbers don't seem accurate at all, I mean only +5w for AMD when going from 2060S to 2080ti and +21w for Intel too.
