It's Phil for me, 11 rings out of 13 finals appearances in two different decades, sure he had MJ,Kobe and Shaq but when he coached the 90's Bulls and 2000's Lakers no other team has won more than them, no other team went more to the finals than them. Phil out-coached Pat in the 90's and Pop in the 00's, Kerr was his player back then, and to be able to control the ego of MJ and Kobe is already an achievement in itself.

How is this even a question? It's Phil! Three 3 peats and a back to back. Pop never repeated and screwed the team out of a chip in 2013. He also lost in the 1st round as defending champions and the Spurs were still legit contenders.

Jordan was very coachable and always has been. He was the enforcer of the coach’s strategy. By him buying in and setting the example his teammates had a choice of following suit or not playing at all.
