Well for a pre-alpha game it looks really good, very crisp and clean with the graphics, smooth movements, the details on the weapon(s) is spot on. Fooster, you showcased this perfectly.

They got something to show for it because different people are playing it right now looks pretty good little more different than most PVP pve games. Day before pretty much scammed people saying it was this type game when it wasn't. Kinda feels like mobile games these days they show you a video of a game that looks really cool! But it's not it's totally different.
- having a ghost anomaly could be cool too! their purpose is just to confuse players (they gonna think they see something but when they chase it, it's gone). they could be completely harmless, or deal some effect to players when they stare at the ghost (kinda like a curse) - add more fog? - add fading effect to the stamina and make it center below the crosshair? fade in when doing something that require stamina, and then fades out in a few second after that. this way, it can improve the immersiveness even more but reducing the amount of HUD item is shown on the screen - night maps and a nightvision goggle?
please let them know, for a pre-alpha this looks really polished and has a lot of potential. i am hopeful we'll get a fully released and functional game soon
In a lot of demos, all of the resources are poured into that one portion of the game. getting it to work without the mechanics actually working game wide. The concept is awesome. The execution...well that will come in time. But looks good.

"Becoming used to being comfortable, in the uncomfortable" is a great line. Perfectly describes "Into the Radius" as well. I know exactly what you mean about it's appeal. This game gives a lot of similar vibes, just in another genre and with a far bigger budget.
I don't know if it was intentional or not, but I love how (in the first part) you edited your voice to make it sound like you're actually talking through a gas mask. Like your additions of reverb in caves and indoor areas, it's such an unnecessary thing you put in that really amplifies the immersion. Keep up the good work, Foost!

Really loving the idea of having to fight off both Anomolies and rival players vying for the same goal at the same time. With these genres of games, it's usually just a standard PVP.
The others have said Hunt Showdown, but it kinda devolves into chaos with campers just trying to steal the tokens from other players instead of actually hunting and looking for clues, and there are so many hackers it made it unplayable. You also REALLY need friends to play with you because playing with Strangers is almost impossible as they always go Leeroy Jenkins and get themselves killed in dumb ways. The game is meant to be played like Metal Gear/Splinter Cell, but most people start running and gunning and gets the whole team killed.
@@AshU-ug2fy there isn't really that many hackers in hunt to be honest with you, there is hackers yes but mostly there is just tons of very experienced hunt players with thousand of hours in the game, plus hunt was never meant to be played just one way, when playing hunt you need to be aware that some players will have the patience to wait people out to take them down, hunt also plays great as a solo player

I’ve been saying for a while that an extraction shooter that could simulate the pvp & pve intensity of the unknown I felt in DayZ, with some new modern twists and objectives would be the perfect game. The game looks awesome and i can't wait to play it. Also i want to compliment you since i just found your channel. Usually i don't like commentary gameplay because most youtubers can be annoying, loud and too hyped. But you are different, it's very pleasant to watch you play and listen to you talking. You are calm and composed, you play nice and slow, you don't talk too much, no screaming and hyping up, you explain everything in simple terms.. And also i appreciate that you're not reloading your gun after every 5 rounds like most players do. I like immersive playstyles where you keep your gun at 15-20 rounds and reload only when you really need to.
@@ErickLopez-jw7ic Why? I honestly hate reloading every 5 seconds, it makes me itch.. This is why i complimented this youtuber, because he was reloading realistically, exactly the way i play. I only reload excessively in online PvP games, but in PvE i use semi-auto on every gun if possible, or i burst fire couple of rounds to save ammo, and i reload only when needed. It's very satisfying for me to play this way. But i play every game with style and passion, for example in football games i don't play ping-pong football, i play slowly, hold possession with tiki-taka, i dribble around etc.. I love relaxing and satisfying gaming without rushing and using meta tactics. Reloading your gun while you still have 20 rounds in the magazine is just rubbing me the wrong way, because in real life you wouldn't reload yet, you would conserve ammo. I don't like exploiting the game's mechanics where the ammo magically combines together. Reloading after every kill looks like OCD to me, like those people who wash their hands 5 times in a row.

I can't remember who it was I watched play this some months ago with the devs. But it looks way better than it did at that time, and it was solid even then. Most of the arena wasn't completed and it was just checkered textures, now it's finished and is looking amazing. Sound design, as always, is spot on.

You've mistaken the reload names. Speed reload drops a mag with it's contents, "tactical reload" retains the mag (to save ammo \ mag for further usage) and is thus slower.
I love how video games have the same "Wrap a bandage to heal" animation. You get shot and then start wrapping a bandage on your arm, lmao. Would be so cool, if animations were based on damage dealt to different parts of the body, and if its a knife or bullet. Probably take a lot of work coding that though.
Its looking good, my suggestions are : 1. More interesting monsters with different types based on their size and damage, regular size, mid size, and one giant unkillable tank for unlucky players. 2. Improve the sound design, more echo screaming across the hallways, dripping footsteps from the monsters (make it louder as they approach) to increase the awarness and anxiety for the players. 3. Muzzle flash for non silenced weapons, make it bright enough you can see from far away as its went through the fog and darkness
I like it. If they focus on sound and enemies, i think it will be good. The ballistics look good, the enemies don't seem bullet-sponge-ey, which is very nice. you want the guns to feel lethal (nothing gets a hunter out of immersion like guns not killing quick).
I can recommend Hunt: Showdown for all of you who want to play such a game right now. Its one of the fairest extraction shooter with a goal out there. No armor which can be increased, no helmets, everything is doing the same damage. So there won't be a juggernaut you can't kill with your small calibre. Try it out! Servers might be a lil bit wonky from time to time but besides that, its really fun.

You've mistaken the reload names. Speed reload drops a mag with it's contents, "tactical reload" retains the mag (to save ammo \ mag for further usage) and is thus slower.

You get shot and then start wrapping a bandage on your arm, lmao.
Would be so cool, if animations were based on damage dealt to different parts of the body, and if its a knife or bullet. Probably take a lot of work coding that though.

Climbing enemies are something that I've been waiting for. It's next level and reminds me of the first time I saw zombies running in left 4 dead.
Its looking good, my suggestions are :
1. More interesting monsters with different types based on their size and damage, regular size, mid size, and one giant unkillable tank for unlucky players.
2. Improve the sound design, more echo screaming across the hallways, dripping footsteps from the monsters (make it louder as they approach) to increase the awarness and anxiety for the players.
3. Muzzle flash for non silenced weapons, make it bright enough you can see from far away as its went through the fog and darkness
one thing they need to add is realistic audio to the specific environments. That will bring this game together.
I like it. If they focus on sound and enemies, i think it will be good. The ballistics look good, the enemies don't seem bullet-sponge-ey, which is very nice. you want the guns to feel lethal (nothing gets a hunter out of immersion like guns not killing quick).
Low key disappointed you missed the perfect pun chance to scream "NO-laf" as you realised Olaf dropped the cookie XD

I can recommend Hunt: Showdown for all of you who want to play such a game right now. Its one of the fairest extraction shooter with a goal out there. No armor which can be increased, no helmets, everything is doing the same damage. So there won't be a juggernaut you can't kill with your small calibre. Try it out! Servers might be a lil bit wonky from time to time but besides that, its really fun.
Dude, this looks so freakin cool already! Can't wait to be able to check it out for myself (hopefully) 🙂
