Opening an Old Box of HO Trains with my Sister

- There have been many boxes sent into the channel over the years however this one was requested to be opened with my sister. Inside were several locomotives, pieces of rolling stock and scenery. There was also several things included for the whole family. I like to give a big thanks to Peter for sending all this stuff.

Great video. I lost every HO thing I had in a house fire a number of years ago. Childhood collection gone in a moment. Your channel has inspired me to rebuild and get back into it. Money is low, so one step, one item at a time. Sad memories, but happy to restart it again.
Sorry to hear about that man
That's how I'm doing it a,bit at a time
That sucks :(
I'm sorry for you man! That's horrible, I'm so happy you're getting back into the Hobby!
Thats gotta suck, Hopefully the break comes soon tho ❤
That’s quite the generous haul! Now you’ll have to get your sister to arrange all those trees and animals on the layout.
Nice ❤️ 👌 👍 video nice of him to send you stuff 👍
That was a great unboxing. Very kind of Peter to send it and to have a little something for everyone.
Another good one. Thanks for sharing. From Texas🚂
SMT- That type of bridge is known as a Curved Chord Truss Bridge. The tank cars that have more than 1 dome have separate tanks under each of the domes. They were intended for a customer who receives more than 1 type of petroleum product like a Fuel Dealer or a Small Manufacturer. The red light on the MRC metal power pack is an Overload Indicator.
I always love these videos
family time is always great.
That Rio grande locomotive looks like an RS3 from Atlas
Hello Harrison's sister. Well got a haul for the whole family on that one.
Shrodiger's cottage cheese it exists simultaneously as both cottage cheese or model railroading scenic materials until opened and observed and with all that shrubbery you are prepared if you should encounter The Knights That Say Nee.
Your sis voice is so cute❤🙏🏻👍
Serenity! We have runners! Cheers from eastern TN
That's really cool having a collaboration video with your sister. Those locomotives with kato drive systems it didn't surprise me they weren't they are awesome especially the atlas locomotive I have that has that drive in it. Lots of trees lots of animals lots of munchies lol
Love seeing Videos With you And Your Sister opening these Packeges.
Yay! Your sister is back for another video! The last video she was featured in was like 3 years ago, nice to see she is back. 😂
I like how you went 'euuu' when the Union Pacific locomotive didn't want to run 😄
The Atlas/Kato frame should fit a RS1 or RS3 shell, and you may need to the end weights if they don't come with the shell. Also, the BLI locomotive would be a nice fixer-upper if some wheelsets could be found. I'm not sure if another manufacturer's wheelsets could be used as an alternative, or they may have to be ordered from BLI direct.
Yes more videos with your sister! She would do more tutorials lol!
👉 6:16 The Broadway Limited is an Alco RSD15 First time in ho scale plastic and the last time. A very rare prototype on American railroads. They were introduced by Alco about a decade before the Alco Century Series of Locomotives was introduced in the 1960's. Before Broadway Limited the only way to get one would be an HO scale brass import or a 35mm Kodachrome slide. Conrail had a very small fleet of them through the late 1970's and even had one permanently paired with an Alco RSD5 slug with the same cab number that worked the Syracuse hump.
Some one in my train club gutted my ALCO RSD15 so they can get other keep running. No one runs them they are all ways lock up. That DDA40X got really damage when it came back to me from NEW MEXICO and guy would not give me my money back either a big lost the biggest thing the SHERIFF and POLICE would not help me out either of his lies, only thing I got back was stuff damage or broken. losts my welding stuff also.
@@PWaco-yq7wr That's really unfortunate that someone would do that. The Broadway Limited Alco RSD15 is worth more in original box with sound than a 50 year old Alco Models brass version.
Thanks for the info.
Broadway Limited has re-run a few of them in HO but they are very, very expensive. A non sound/non DCC version is over $200. Now they introduced them in N scale back at Christmas time.
@@michaelmorgan7893 They only did N scale. I try to get parts and trucks no luck on it,
Nice video. I hope you have a roundhouse or a decent size engine terminal for all the locomotives.
Great video. Your fire station looks cool.
Thanks for another great video, I was born in the 80's and every train set I got up until 1998 was from Life Like.
The AAR trucks on the frame-only denote an ALCO. Kato has a love of ALCO's.
The "zebra stripes" on the RSD-15 were added because the factory black paint scheme tended to make them "invisible" in yard service and at grade crossings at night.
A lot of nice things! Love that Union Pacific.
We want to see your sister.!!!
Amazing the DD40 train
Awesome video man! I really enjoy your videos and they make my day and I learn something new from you everyday. I have hundreds of HO Rolling Stock but only 2 Locomotives and im very low on tracks haha
You have cool trains😊😊😊😊
❤ I watch your videos all the time I like them
Thanks for the video
Nice, Nerf Cat will never be out of treats now. I’m interested to see what you do with that Kato chassis
I’ll tell you I bet he is such a good boy.
Nice to hear another voice (sister)
Those MRC power packs are from the 1980s.
This was a very cool thing to do, amazing video, keep it up 👍
Nice Harrison!
I thought I was first but I was secont😢
The Broadway Limited Body is an RSD15, also known as an "Alligator" due to the long nose. The Kato with the body is an SD3, and the Kato without looks like it's from the same type. Not bad knowledge from a guy who lives and was born in the UK (Never been to USA either.)
Think you mean RS-3? ALCo never made an SD-3.
Definitely pretty good knowing details about the stuff, being from country that (to my knowledge) was never home to much of any ALCo locomotives!
4:46i have that exact controller, its a great controller.
Nice locomotives
If you can get the wheelsets for the BLI Gator, I see no reason why you couldn't wire it up as a straight DC loco instead of trying to find the whole circuit board for it (which would likely cost a lot).
I'll just throw some wires in it. I doubt they even make a replacement board for it anymore.
I got the same/or very similar, throttlepack, even has a receipt from the 70s in its box, very cool
That's awesome!
The first Union Pacific Locomotive Centennial Is So Cool
Lucky find. The
throttle pak was the go to throttle to have in the 70s... it had the pulse power mode for slower starts as the light on the top indicated short outs.
Enjoy
She must be camera shy. Hello, Sister, from the shop guys at the Chippewa Northern.
I have a sister too. And I also have a brother too
Correction. Not a SD3, but an RS3. Simple mistake. Sorry.
I see
I never saw a Union pacific Locomotive that long
I’ll tell you it’s big there is something alittle bigger then this which is a emd dd35 same as the gp35 but two times bigger but as you saw on the vid it’s a emd dda40x.
Great video glade to see another dd40 to the collection
Thank you for open my 2 boxes I hope you can get that RSD RUNING AGAIN. That is was a nice locomotive one time. To some one in the club gutted it for parts to keep the club locomotive running. I got some locomotive out trash can at the club even one with DCC that JON CURE wants Well give it to him as well. I hope you in joy them, I have a LADDY want to ask you about a missing box. one that that had a lot of dandy in it. Did a JAMILA ask you any QUESTIONS about that box, I do not trust her at all, she was only a worker. when you get done readding this CANCEL it right a way , then get back to me or JON CURE
I have an MRC twin throttle power pack just like that one!
I got train sim world 3 its so cool one day when i get older i would like to me a train engineer
another banger from harrison
Too funny. I can’t imagine the shipping cost on that heavy box. The beef jerky alone weighs a ton! Nice gifts. Always fun watching you go through old stuff. I may have lost count, but I think that makes 568 Bachman’s you now own. 568 or 567? I’ll watch all the videos again, I didn’t have plans this summer anyway.
Respect to you for counting how many Bachmanns he has
I imagine the count "one bachmann haha, two bachmann haha, 3 bachmann hahah"
I’m gonna start counting from the very first unboxing video and comment the total number. Wish me luck
Cool video
Stm main line, do you have old ho scale lionel trains
You have the contents❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
I like trains thank you for that content you have😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Good luck getting the hand rails for that Kato RS-3 Rio Grande! I've tried and had to make them in the end. I think the other Kato chassis is for another RS-3 but I could be wrong.
4:49 I think I have the exact same controller
A bucket of animals! Ya always need that many, but rarely remember to get them😅🚂🇨🇦🚃🚃
I'm sure they'll be enough room.
📦HO Trains , Powers packs, freight cars, bridge and figures.
Excellent.
📦N scale freight cars and locomotives.
Atlas.
Bachmann.
Life Like.
Kato.
Kadee.
Micro Trains.
MTL.
Wow really nice haul man! It’s nice to see your sister as a cameo while you and her are unboxing these cool stuff from Peter waco I think? Very nice of him to send you all this especially the cat treats to nerf cat I bet he is lucky.
Hermosas locomotoras
2:02 rare Train Simulator Disk seen nowhere else
Btw I tried to play it but my Laptop couldn't handle it
Good ole 15 fps gaming.
The atsf unit you got in this package is a ALCO RSD 15.
The kato chassis appears to match the chassis and trucks that the Rio Grande Alco RS unit has. Willing to bet it was a Alco RS unit
This is epic
I know it took a while but I wanted to do this right.
@@SMTMainline yeah but man those treats look tired now. ouch. But Peter was in Wacobird heaven, lol
Can you bring back the unstoppable locos on a live stream.
Nice vid, Harry
👍🙂
Have you installed a new light on a loco. ? I haven't seen the process .
It's pretty easy, you just need to wire a 12 volt grain bulb to the positive and negative wires or terminals on the motor.
Gotta Get Hopping with the O'l Glue Gun and shrubs all over those mountains.
Absolutely.
I just bought a Union Pacific like this one. I am interested in the repair. Thanks
It's pronounced "Way-Coh" like Waco Texas. I know Peter Waco from when I used to live in Bakersfield.
Build a layout for your sister
nerf cat is gonna have a fiesta lol
Hello smt Mainline how is everything including your sister I hope everything looks great wow box for both of you and your dad and surprises too are you like this message by :James Nulliner
When you mean “Peter Waco” do you mean Peter Jugo 😂
I haven't heard of him before.
smt slap a bit of rolling stock on a loco frame
Sounds like a plan.
@@SMTMainline also congrats on almost 85k!
10:16 try Bachmann industries e-z lube gear grease from Walthers that should fix the noise.
Figlio di papà, basta vedere dove vive... Impara a riparare come si deve
Mabye take the black Broadway shell and put it on the runner without a shell if it fits?
Is there any idea to put a tram in N scale somewhere or a work train in your environment? Fun when you can mix the scales, N and Ho.
Or just expand the N scale layout.
Is that The Unstoppable 777 I see sitting there??
Yep
Can you run the DD50 in the next stream?
No clue how tough it would be to give that BLI diesel new drive parts, but I know you at least used to be able to buy gears and gearboxes from Northwest Shortline. If you had some original gears, it's possible to calculate the gear mod, have the number of teeth on the gear, and order gears from a supplier. Perhaps a lot of work, but good to know if there's ever a model you need to replace a bad gear on.
PS- I often salvage old gears out of broken VCRs, tape decks, CD players, computer cd drives, and other electronic devices. Most of them aren't very useful, but if you save up enough sometimes you'll find one in your collection of random gears that's perfect for a particular project down the line!
I might have some after market parts that will work.
Another shrubbery!!!! (we old folks will get that Monte Python reference)....
Oh the wheels where in the box
Hey smt mainlines do you have any bullet trains or turbo train
Y’all remember that one April fools video
I try to pull a APRIL FOOL JOKE AT MY CLUB 3 OFTHEM COULD NOT TAKE A JOKE, It's on RUclips as well P.WACO.
@@PWaco-yq7wr Darn
I'm wondering if that Union Pacific DD40 has the flywheel drive? I think Pete had a couple or three of them with either the flywheel drive, or the pancake motor, but it's been years. I can't remember.
The early ones have a pancake drive but I'm pretty sure this one uses can motors and flywheels.
@@SMTMainline that's what I was thinking. I used to have one of the old pancake versions, but unfortunately it wouldn't run on my tight radius layouts. Back around 2004, I was at B & F Hobbies there in Bakersfield, and Bob Crone (salesman from Horizon Hobbies) had a sample of the new ones from Bachmann, and it was sweet. They ran it back and forth on a short piece of track, and it ran and looked well.
Peter Who ?? ☺
The one and only Peter Waco
Very cool. So when are you doing another giveaway lol?
5:36 is that another box inside the larger one? Or just a spacer?
i think its just a spacer.
8:10 do you remember the movie handcock where that guy hits and derails the train this was the locomotive used in the movie
Rebuild
Peter I’m starting a layout could you send me a box of goodies like that 😂 I’ll even make a unboxing video
1:59 DTG ( Dovetail Games )
You have a sister
Yeah it's his sister
Sure do
Ok
You can oreder the parts from Broadway limited
Can you make a military locomotive 🚂
Just imagine if this package got sent to the local weed dealer. The weed dealer would be like why are there trains in my weed stash.
It happened once, here's how it went down lol ruclips.net/video/3JUHCvHsCMI/видео.html
