Yes, we did! That's actually the reason we got goats to begin with (to have raw milk straight from our backyard) and we had them for about 2 years. We absolutely loved it!! I LOVED milking, the kidding process, all of it. Truly such a joy!
@@kyannandmat we have considered getting a couple dairy goats, since we drink and eat so many dairy products it makes sense to have our own source of dairy. Did you find that it was worth the investment?
For us, it definitely was! The amount of dairy products we had the ability to make (we started slowing on what we made with it just to learn the process and not overwhelm ourselves), but also just being able to connect more to our food source and learn the skills that are needed for that. Just the ability to have our kids learn about where their food came from and learn responsibility in caring for animals was such a blessing! We definitely highly recommend, if you're looking into it!
