My father raised our family doing this job. I still remember the typical, watery smell while doing this stuff. Nice to see how this form of art is still going on.
What a beauty. How beautiful hands he has got. He is really a gifted person. Look at his attention to his work, how greatly he is doing it. I feel proud to have such sons of the soil. He is no doubt a blessed man. My respects and salutes to the artist.
I don’t understand, why these artists live in an extreme poverty? These ,hand made plasters should be very precious here in the western World..Well done Mr.Your family would be very proud of you..Good job!
Совсем другое дело! Спокойно, без суеты, рабочего пространства много. А главное, никто не мешает. Нет этих помощников, которые только мешают. Молодец дядька!
Everything is primitive but the phone...... I mean no tools no savety no gloves what is the most important for working with gypsum. Respect for the hard working man. God bless those hands 🙏. Big thumbs up 👍👍👍👍.
You can not beat the art of craftsman ship! Imagine if these talented people would have some extra facility what would the be able to make! Love and respect for creative, traditional craftsmen! It is so entertaining to watch it!
Parabéns pelo belo trabalho vc desse país aí são os melhores .vcs fazem tudo com perfeição .vc deveriam vir trabalhar aqui no Brasil .perfeito o trabalho de vcs .
I would like to see the final product in place! What do they do with these tiles? Great work by the way and I just love the roosters in the back ground.
Nothing quite like a man working in his shop with only the sound of his chickens and faint background sounds. I imagine that except for the traffic noise, it must have been like that 1000 years ago.
This craft practised since the 1600s ..just go to your local English statley home and look at it . Rough casting plaster takes about 10 minutes to become unworkable and about 20 minutes before you can move it . Strength is in embedded lath timber ,the fibre glass used as a reinforcer will not prevent the slab breaking whilst it is still setting. When just manufactured it is very heavy and needs careful handling and in Indian heat about 2 days to dry , when it is much lighter and stronger.
If he had an open sided tray at the end of the run it'd help to stop / reduce the pits in the board that form when he stops to collect the plaster in his hand. It's so obvious I'm kind of shocked he's not already doing it.
Salute to these hard working skilled people of my Pakistan.
میرے پاکستان کے ان محنتی ہنر مند لوگوں کو سلام۔
I could watch the man for hours, not only because watching him has a calming effect, but also because I am so impressed with his ability.
The excitement on his face in the end is imprinted on my mind.
