Sean definitely deserves the title shot. Between the three of them the outcome is up in the air. All great fighters who can end with a KO or sub at anytime. Sean/DDP is what I would like to see again. Their last meeting was tight.

He should have received an immediate rematch- but instead he already fought and beat another contender to get back to a belt most people believe he didn’t lose in the first place… By comparison, Whittaker got knocked out by both Dricus & Izzy… whereas Strickland beat Izzy with ease and fought a tooth and nail split decision with Dricus. Strickland is the only person that makes sense to fight for the belt.
IF DDP wins, and khamzat makes weight, has no troubles in the build up, and clears up any red tape we don’t know about which is a big IF, then goes and knocks out Rob in round 1, I’ll bet you anything he’s next. (Easy for me to say) but I also thought he always deserved a shot, and I thought he won against drikus. So the ufc doing this makes complete sense to me. Obviously, the winner of Robert versus khamzat Gets a shot after this, but you can’t wait around for that and depending how this fight goes when Robert fights, the champion might be ready for another contender, so this makes perfect sense
