    If you’re having issues with the hose coming undone, try moving the rubber loop to the back corner of the cube on the same side it’s currently located. You might have to use a hex key. Wrap the hose clockwise and it should loop nice and snug and won’t unravel!

    Thanks for the thorough review, Jerry!

    Before you head to your shower tent, you could run the heater and pump the water back into the cube. That way you can have a permanent spot for your heater, your cube temp gangue can tell you the perfect temp. and you only have one thing to haul to your shower tent.

    This is interesting! I've not heard of this. I'm gonna share this and that electric cooler with the hubs.
    We've been using one of those rechargable pumps that you put in a 5gal bucket (or whatever works) and it pumps the water through the shower head. Great pressure, uses almost no space, but! we have to boil water to add to the bucket if you want a warm shower, but not a big deal for us.
    There is nothing like being able to shower while camping, especially with kids.
    I love that you do these reviews, there are so many products out there.

    Cool. I like the pro due to the hose being concealed.

    Rinsekit also told me you can boil water and just add it to the unit. I imagine 2-3 boils in a pot could get your water good to go.

    We've used a Coleman Hot Water On Demand for many, many years camping.

    Make it stackable and insulated (for winter camping with the hyper heater) with an area to wrap the hose under the solid top.

    too bad the hose is not removable from the unit. deal killer for me.

    Just casually sneaking in incredible shots to a gear review video!
    On the gear- I’m sure this has a market with the more privileged outdoor enthusiasts but these types of products have always seemed overkill to me. A two-gallon weed sprayer with a kitchen sprayer mod has always been more than enough for me. To each their own I guess!

      Whatever works for you is all you need. Honestly, we were gonna buy one of these after seeing it in action, but I got a review model instead. But there are plenty of high tech/high expense gadgets that I'm more than happy to do without.

    This would be great for adding to a cargo van that's converted to a "tiny home" camper. But, I'd need a 20 gallon unit to supply enough water for my girlfriend to take a shower and a 4 gallon one for me.
    Do you think the unit would overheat if left out in the sun all day enough to negatively impact the batteries or electronics?
    Thanks for the awesome review! Great job!

    • @JerryArizona

      I'm not really sure. Personally, I wouldn't leave it out in the sun too long. I know they also came out with a roof rack mounted version recently though. So they may be fine.

      Can the cube be charged with a wall outlet

    Which shower head was shown at the 8:09 mark resting on the pop up shower tent? Is that the included nozzle?

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  11 месяцев назад

      That shower head comes with the hyper heater. The spray nozzle comes with the Cube. Both work, but the spray nozzle requires that you hold the lever down to spray which makes it more difficult to shower with....although it helps conserve water.

    Have you tried putting warm or hot water in the cube? Will it damage inside the cube with hot water? Thank you

      And do you have to turn the power ON in order to charge your phone?

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  Год назад +1

      I haven't put warm water in it, but they say you can. I'm sure there's a max temp, but don't know what that would be. And I just tested it and you have to turn it on to charge things. But I don't think that would drain the battery much since the pump won't kick on unless you're using the sprayer. (EDIT: I just asked Rinsekit and they said it's fine putting hot water in it. They recommend not going above 110 degrees to avoid burning yourself.)

      @@JerryArizona ok. I’ve got the regular pro and the sink hot water lasted about half of day. I also tried new cold water in the morning and the water got hot during noon time, stayed warmed for afternoon shower.

    I was hoping that water pressure in this model is better than the 3.5 gallon model 🥹🤲🏼

    On their website in FAQ, "...At this time, the only heating accessory we have compatible with the Cube is the HyperHeater."... Interesting they say "At this time". I just ordered the cube but the hyperheater just seems to like waay too big of an add-on. The point of this (to me) is to get away from having to use a propane tank, due to portability. Their heating options for the old PRO model are great! So what if it takes 30 minutes to heat up when it's portability and storage space that is benefited. Most people needing a hot shower is out camping. Why would they carry a hyperheater AND a dedicated propane tank (for various uses), when the other option is to just purchase a tankless water heater and go with that set up for FAR cheaper with way more use cases.

      They have the electric immersion heater for the Pro. The controls stick out under the fill opening on the Cube which is why I don't think the immersion heater would work. Strange since I'd think they could just move the opening to another spot to fix that.

    Can you fill it with hot water?

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  10 месяцев назад +1

      You can. Not sure on the exact temp but I believe it’s pretty hot. Out here in AZ, all you have to do is set it in the sun and it gets pretty hot most of the time though.

    Oh ~ a HOT shower!! out in the middle of nowhere. Luxury. I'd watch you review a paper clip - Jerry!! The one thing that really needs to be changed on this Rinsekit - change the plastic to metal on the nozzle. One drop - and it's cracked/broken. I never purchase any more garden nozzles that are plastic. They end up in a landfill.

    Not worth the money. First one broke right away. Second they sent to replace the broken one doesn’t make it past 3 minutes (other reviews mention that run times are nowhere near what rinsekit claims with 8 minute runtimes). Was a waste of several hundred $$$$. Got a $30 pump shower with a bucket that works 100% better and is sadly far more reliable.
