I love how Pohatu could absolutely zoom out of there in less time than it takes to blink because of his mask power, but he still chooses to slowly moonwalk away.

So cool! Love the hand-to-hand stuff that Tahu mixes into his attacks, and how agile and cunning Lewa is throughout the whole thing. And of course, Pohatu stole the show at the end (as well as the mask lol).
Stuff like this makes me glad that I'm still in the BIONICLE fandom, all these years later.

BIONICLE NEVER DIES
This might seem like a small detail, but animating Tahu's turn head and lining it up with the spinning gear on his back is such an insane attention to detail.
This rules harder than a vast majority of things humans have accomplished in our brief time as a species. A crowning achievement.
Absolutely top tier how well I can feel the kinetic energy in the animation.

The best Bionicle fight scene since Canister Wasteland 2. Seeing each of their unique fighting styles was awesome. I was fully expecting Tahu to dominate, since, y'know, Tahu, but as a lifelong Lewa fan I was very happy to see him hold his own.
I loved the detail of how the frame rate increased whenever Tahu landed a hit on Lewa.
This animation was so entertaining to watch. I love the little slap he does at 0:21 🗿

I absolutely loved this. I don’t even know where to start with the animation. I can’t say any stand-out moments because all of it stood out.
I loved the storytelling and character put into all. The fact that Lewa moved looser and Tahu moved more stiff was an amazing touch. It fit their characters perfectly. I also loved the end with Pohatu. The sound design was great. Robotic effects are hard to make sound genuine.

I love this Candyman vs The Pig fight! I mainly love how you are able to make the sound fit with the animation. I also really loved all the small details you added like their gears spinning on their backs!
Fantastic work. I love smaller touches like the gears constantly spinning (which must be a pain to do) and the digital effects being brief so they always improve the action without being the focus. Great stuff! Here's hoping for mask powers in future videos!
Holy crap this was a million times cooler than I thought it’d be, and I already thought it’d be pretty cool. I love how you added extra articulation with Lego pieces for that smooth movement
There is so much creativity in the choreography, from the well placed powers to the weighty swings. This also just looks so good, I cannot praise this enough

This is exactly how I imagined the battles our Toa would get into when my brother and I would play with our Bionicle kits or whatever we made by bashing the kits together.
Idk why I didn’t see this earlier. I love how you don’t do the Hollywood thing where two characters clash swords together and just look constipated, the additional martial arts moves you put in were beautiful. I yearn for the day I can be at this level.

The candy man pulled through with his sweet moves. But I love how reliant Tahu is with his fire power really fits him
Firstly: this is incredible. I haven't seen a fight this good since Cannister Wasteland.
Secondly: the sneaker squeaking sounds as Pohatu just moonwalked his way outta' there were PERFECT.

I love it, every single move in this video it's art... And the end were perfect.
I love how dirty they fight. It really highlights their personalities, theyre incredibly both trained fighters, but theyre also both immature enough to fight over a mask to this degree, punching & slapping & elbowing each other as much as they use their toa tools.
The reference to the 01 promo CD with Pohatu at the end was fantastic

Insanely amazing as always. The gears turning though? Good god, it's the cherry on top. The movement is so fluid and everything flows so naturally, while every impact has weight. There is nothing this video could have done better in my eyes, a solid 10/10 masterpiece of stopmotion.

really awesome stop motion work here. All the combat looks great, but honest all the really small production effects sell this, the sound timing of gears moving when heads turn or sounds for when weapons hit/clash. It gives everything a real set of weight and immersion! The fire and wind effects are really good too, subtle and not over done.
Story wise it's need, but the 100 of little production details going on here really elevates this piece

*tahu wins thanks to his more offensive elemental power and defensive mask. Lewa lays defeated on the ground as tahu takes the pakari…then tosses it on the ground besides lewa*
Tahu: “take it”
Lewa: “are you sure-certain, Brother? You did best-beat me”
Tahu: “yes, I did, which means you need it more than I do”
(I have no idea if that’s how tree-speak works lol)
