- Hello everyone, today's video is about how to CORRECTLY deep clean dust from your Diecast Aircraft Models without damaging them.
I have used 3 models of different scales to demonstrate in detail the steps and process I use to clean my aircraft models. It covers areas that see a lot of dust accumulation such as the wing joints, engines, grooves, etc.

This video is primarily intended for diecast models but I’m sure it’ll work for plastic/resin models too. As for the items; Amazon should have all of those things
Do you display your models on open shelfs or display them in cabinets?

In open shelves, but in a dedicated room, with sealed windows, so there’s minimal dust.

Where to find that toy airport of Gemini jets.
I made a bad mistake! I have several models like this that have been on top of my kitchen cabinets for years now. They have accumulated dust along with fatty oils from the cooking below. I can remove the dust but the oils are still on the surface and very sticky. Does anyone know what I can use to safely remove the oil so the surface is cleaned again?

Hello! I recently got an second-hand model and it has stains everywhere, how can I clean it?
Is it Diecast? Are the stains on the print or on the white fuselage? If it’s Diecast and if they the stains are on the white paint, you can use diluted acetone to remove the stain, try a small patch first and if it gives the desired results go ahead with more. Make sure to not rub too hard as it can pull out the paint and expose the bare metal. Hope this helps

I normally pick up models from various places when I travel abroad. There are a few shops selling in India or you can try MyHobbyHouse based in Malaysia, they ship to India
So can i use mineral water instead of distilled water for cleaning?
Distilled is better because you never know what minerals are in the water and how it reacts with metal

Is alcohol okay to clean my models?, I accidentally got a a smudge of butter on my model
Alcohol may cause the pain to erode, so try soapy water first
Well, what can clean the dried smudge of butter without damaging it?
Kinda scared because there's some text printed where the smudge is at and the model is expensive
Try dipping a damp cloth in soapy water
