Loved your videos. Made it a priority to check out the District Brewhouse after watching. It became our favorite place onboard to grab a few quiet pre dinner drinks. Great varirty of beers on tap, plus cans and bottles that weren't available anywhere else on the ship. We cruised to Bermuda from NYC on the Escape in August.
Thanks for the videos, entertaining and great info! I have a question on tipping. We are going on our first Mediterranean cruise with NCL, and have paid the upfront service charge/gratuity. Should you also tip staff directly in additional to this?
Not expected. But I like to tip extra. I useally do a 10 or a 20 for specialty dining and a dollar or 2 every now and then to the bar staff. But again, that's jist me.
Requests for a wheelchair ♿️ was to be from 7-9am on my last Escape 18FEB23 cruise but i didn't get one and get to my shuttle to the airport till 10:45am and wasn't to the airport till 11:30am which was 5 minutes late to check my bag so i missed my return flight and had to get a hotel room for the night and book another flight at my cost. The travel insurance i got for my cruise covered the flight, but only up to $500 so my cost of $550 was not totally covered. Hope no one else needs to rely on getting off the ship with a wheelchair staff not organized at all even as a Platinum level.
If smoking was left out of the conversation and life people would be better off! Those programmed to smoke by tobacco product companies should take a look at how they have been wronged.
@BRAMSEASTHEDAY it's not a matter of judging, but reality of the health problems of tobacco products! My grandfather died of cancer of the throat smoking cigars and my father coughed up a lung from 33 years smoking unfiltered cigarettes! It's an unnatural habit humans have been made to believe was natural! Even sadly, cool!

I like to try a signature drink at each location on a bar crawl. I also respect a person who sticks with what he likes. To each their own.
Mixing drinks has bee´ "unsuccesfull" a few times in the past for me. I learned from my mistaches 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I recommend talking to the DJ a lot. A friendly chat and some tips went a long way for us!
