Big thanks... nobody ever includes vocals in their acoustic amp reviews yet that's such a big part of the acoustic guitar in so many cases.
She has a beautiful voice,
Mid
regigiga is that you?
Valeria… what a beautiful voice. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
So these appear to be closed back combos, why wouldn't an acoustic amp be open back ? Are there any open back combos that can be heard. With my Applause, I prefer the open back because it fills the room ambiently with sound out the front & back. For my electric guitars, I prefer a directional closed back speaker.
What was the last song that dude played on the fishman amp sorry new to guitar
Sounds like dust in the wind
What a voice maam... just fall in love with your voice 😘😍❤️
I'm not sure if I missed it, but which Yamaha model was being played?
We have a gear link in the description box, check it out. :)
//cheers, Kris
Roland AC-33 Another great option and it has a looper and built in effects.
Is there a way to get an amplified acoustic rock sound? Something really loud, pounding with feedback.
Richard McKrell maybe put a soundhole pickup in your acoustic and run it through a electric guitar amp. Acoustic Pickups or mics with overdrive are horrible! For these sounds look for a soundhole humbucker or something like that.
For example Jon Gomm uses his soundhole pickup with overdrive.. pretty nice!
Good suggestion
First things first, I just subscribed. Secondly, I don't know enough to comment on any amp. My guitar journey began yesterday. I bought and received from Amazon BCP 41 inch cut-away acousting beginner's kit. Two sets of metal strings, an Allen key, pics, a capo, cleaning cloth, gig bag w backpack straps, electronic tuner, cleaning cloth, cable for amp, built-in preamp and instructions. I'm 70, have always loved guitar sounds, soooop, I pulled the trigger 2 days ago during one of those "flash sales", and got my dream purchase for $69.99, free shipping, down from $99.00. ALL THAT said, I need help, instruction and I've been looking at a "pocket-amp". Can you guys break down pocket-amps? Thanks.
Try a wireless system, benefits of unplugged while being plugged-in.
i really like how thomann is such a genuine company. they honestly say that the fishman amp is better for performing than the harley benton, instead of just saying buy the harley benton, it's the best amp out there.
Simple answer is you do not. Live you plug into the DI box and get your sound from the vocal monitors end of story. In fact as a live engineer and some body turned with one of these amps I would just think it was a pain in the poi because undoubtedly they would want it louder than it needed to be.
Neil Aspinall well yeah, but an acoustic amp is great for gigs without an engineer and PA (der); home use and to use a bass, an electric guitar, acoustic guitar, mics and whatever with your favourite pedals. Geez man - weirdo
Man which model is that Yamaha??
It's so beautiful.
It is Yamaha LS, might be Transacoustic (TA), I have same TA model but Sunburst version, it's hard to put it away once you pick it up ;) I'm being late all the time ;)
@@sanathril Sound like the LS6 or LS16 ARE, incredible instrument, really. I had the LS6.. damn such deep vibration coming from there
when would use an amplifier... any time you would like to amplify your sound
The Beatles, in their early days, had Gibson acoustic guitars that they plugged into VOX AC30 amplifiers. Nobody ever talks about that.
Also don’t forget a lot of the sound comes from the pickup in the guitar. I hate the way my Taylor sounds with the es2.
#metoo
5:47 What song is this?
Sounds a lot like Dust im the wind
:13 because louder is better. Maybe showcase some add-on acoustic pickups for standard acoustics. Both amps in this sounded great just have Kris clean the dust out of the Fishman I guess the wind was heavy or something????
WOW!!! Sounds like Joan Biaz!!
What is the guitar she's playing?
Ricko Sanjaya Maton SRS808c. Australian Brand, very nice Guitars, unplugged great, plugged in the best ones out there 💯
@@friededms it sounds very good but 2000$ is too much for me. Maybe I'll buy Yamaha ac3r ARE for 1000$, it is a good guitar with all solid too.
Thanks for the reply, now I can live without wondering what guitar is it. 😁
The amps did not reproduce the guitars in a good way, there must be a connection between the quality of the guitar and the amps - also at the price level
Yeah. If you want a real sound the pick up is doing 90 percent of the work. If you really want to reproduce what your guitar actually sounds like, get just about any pick up that involves a microphone. Never under saddle or magnetic… those people are crazy to put that in an a acoustic. LR baggs anthem is a absolute great one, audio technica k&k is good too. But at the end of the day just a microphone to pick it up is the ruler of all… just can’t move around as much unless you get the dpa 4099… looks kind of out there but hey you can move around with your guitar sounding like your guitar;)
@@higheststandards3344 I partly agree with you, but do not disagree, LR Baggs Anthem is a really good choice just like DPA, but on the amp side, there are products that distance themselves from others, Schertler X's series gives an honest lined picture of the guitar, of course with the mentioned good pickups. But what I mean is that playing a quality guitar over these cheap amps is silly and does not give a good result, both should be in the same price range.
You should listen to your video, the fishman is too Brite in the mid, that 2nd, 3rd string dominate and b always sounds out of tune
Intro song please? Anyone xD I need to listen to it thanks!
Sure, you can take these small amps on the subway but who rides the subway? I wanna know is, can you haul 'em on a horse?
If you have an expensive guitar buy an expensive amp, these shown amps are terrible. A quality guitar + cheap amp does not provide quality in the end
Hey man can you play some corridos tumbados im falling asleep.
"Play in a band" waiting for that.
Holy F her voice is mesmorising.
what do you even call a acoustic guitar with a amp plug?
I do not think Thorman is a specialist in acoustic amps, this video is the proof
Is it bad she sounds like every female pop artist from the 90s?
This is an instrument/amp demo. Why tf is she singing
Gunkanjima If you want old school traditional and sterile product demos, I’m afraid you’re watching the wrong channel. We try to show music gear to musicians. And vocals are a pretty important part of music, isn’t it? We wanted to know and show you how these tools fit in a singer-songwriter mix. //cheers, Kris
Probably to demonstrate that you can plug a vocal mic into these amps too. Plus it’s also a good idea to hear the product in real context
Valeria's speaking voice is really annoying. Like fingernails on a blackboard.
