Restoration Giant Combined Wood Machine from Mr Truong Workshop - Restore Nishino 3in1 1500A of 70s
To day we cleaning, periodic maintenance, Restoration Partial, Rusty Combined machine for cutting, planing and rolling for Mr Trường wood workshop. Instead of a thank you that our team sent to him.

Always use a brass drift bar/soft hammer, to punch bolts and strike cast parts.

Remarkable machine. Complex and complicated and you fellow did a great job. I think you might have polished up the planer and jointer knives, but they are fine. That is going to make a wonderful machine for the end user. Not necessarily a fan of the colors, but it is not my machine. Good job.

pushing new grease into old bearings, I don't know if it's such a good idea, and it would also be good to sharpen the planer knives

Good effort on restoration of the old Japanese combination machine. When you put the wood thru the thicknesser it was stopping half way in its travel, you need to adjust the feed roller tension to increase pressure on the rollers pushing the wood. Very solid machine and quite well made like a lot of Japanese machinery.
It needs a lot of TLC. I don't think they even sharpened the knives.
Outstanding restoration
Why put wood chips on the top when it didn’t have any when you set them on the floor blocks. There was a little on the lower part of the machine. I’ll watch a little more but I doubt you’ll get a Like from me.

I don't get where the restoration is. No new chains no new belts. Same motor bearing. Blades were not replaced or sharpened. None of the surfaces check for flatness. No bearings replaced anywhere. Disassembled washed and painted. then reassembled. Hello the king is naked.

About a 16" planer, maybe 8 to 10" jointer, 12" circular saw, probably metric sizes close to the sizes I gave.
It could be a good machine, they got the hard part done, now someone needs to take it to the next level to make it a usable machine.
