Then it popped up on my recommended a few weeks later and I decided to watch it, loved it, downloaded it, and eagerly awaited chapter 2 while checking devlogs on the day they were uploaded. Been a solid fan since chapter 1 before Manly's video had 500k views.
I remember when the controversy about the game broke, a Brazilian RUclipsr had made a video with some really cool dubbing, and I became interested in the game immediately, and I was simply hooked, until today.

Decided to give it a go, watched the playthrough. Was intrigued, very much so (was kind of a mind shattering experience to play the game for some reason lol). Then stumbled upon this channel, found very funny memes, stayed around for everything. Thank you Flopamine, for your hard work in this shithole of a community. Love your videos. Haven't played TCOAAL since June or something. Probably should replay it again.
Great video Flop, before I start with my comments I just wanna say, you were my most viewed gaming channel of the year, and thanks to that TCOAAL is my third most viewed game of the year, but well, it's good to have some news, but also yeah, it was a hell of a war, but the furball/lectryn issue was more like the cold war, super long, a literal warfare where you couldn't stay neutral (I have tried to play triple diplomacy, and ended up having to surrender and cutting ties with lectryn (never really had a connection to Jefferey Furball)), it literally divided the community, but yeah, now it's like the post soviet era, still, I joined the community on November 2023 and I must say, a lot happened, TCOAAL is a fucking hellhole sometimes, first servers I joined that were tcoaal themed were in early 2024 (January to February), some got deleted and I re-joined others (and I got banned from some (peak discord moderation yippeeehh)), but being honest I don't regret anything, it's a really good community when you meet real ones like you for example, I might also add people like William and Gari, not so known people but still cool guys, 75 cents down to steam and a new game in my gallery (bought it before November 20th 2023), but yeah, it's been a year man, it's been a great path, now I'll just wait for Grunt to comment something and enjoy life, thanks for everything dude, you've made real stuff this year, congratulations.
Technically we had been in the Cold War era since the start of 2024, in history, the end of Cold War era brought the post Soviet era (as USSR fell in 1991, ending the Cold War). You can say we're still possibly in the Cold War era cuz of course the real bad people in this community ain't get hauled to jail yet, but overall the community is entering another year of hiatus and lack of new contents, so it's only escalating further from now on. Ep 3A and 4 will definitely mark a new era which can be worse than what we've got thru in oct 2023.
@@unknown-ns7in I have no word to describe it cuz the modding community is still small yet there have been quite some dramas going along with it, not just with big mods but also small, in development mods. The tricky thing about TCOAAL mods atm is you don't really know what you'd get, each mod has its own direction but not every mod is good at what it set out to be, I'd like more mods that have actual plot like the Renee mod, or straight up total unhinged brainrot shitpost mod like The Freaky of Andy and Leyley, mods that enhance visuals like Visual Coffin or add in some more optional dialogues and scenes like Side Dishes are nice too. Sadly that for now, it seems only the Renee mod is on the right track (or at least that's what I think cuz there's still some strong criticism towards the mod made by serious fans), other mods either have halted development for unknown period or are still struggling to find their own directions. But in hindsight, it's only been 1 year since ep 2 release, and 1 year 8 months since ep 1 release, modders still need time to learn and experience so they can make great stuffs later, we've got like another year ahead so there's a lot of time for modders to grind in developing their mods.
It is incest, but there wouldn't be incest without the toxic codependency, which is one of the main themes in the game. Whether or not the author had pushed the incest thing in the game, from the start the plot was almost perfect to guarantee an incest route, if the author had not made an incest route, the fans would, just like how they made a whole mod where you play as the mother.
