Hi, I agree with your opinion about honesty versus editing or adding “elevator music”. I owed a beautiful motorboat with a small cabin but honestly I got bored and sold it. Then I bought an RV and an inflatable sailboat that I take around Europe. I’m having fun with no costs whatsoever. The only boat I would consider buying is a trailerable little sailboat like yours. Venturer 17s dont sail well,tend to fall over in a breeze rather than point and actually sail to windward,but if the price is right,why not?
