    As I mentioned in the video, my favorite iron is an Oliso ProPlus SmartIron. Oliso was kind enough to give a discount to my followers! You can get $20 off a ProPlus SmartIron using the code Pro20 at checkout. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could also use my affiliate link (the price stays the same for you but I make a small commission on any purchase you make through my link)- www.oliso.com?aff=100
    If you have any questions, leave them in the comments.
    Thanks for watching!

I can't wait to attempt them all and am looking forward to learning these new skills and techniques. Do you have a tutorial on making the Sashing and/or putting all the blocks together to make the quilt top, or have I missed which one it is? I finally had some time to give this a try. I am a beginner. My block measurement didn’t come out perfect so I ended up with a 7 &3/4 inch block with my finished product 😅. Great practice. However, I am proud one of my flying geese had a beautiful point. That counts for something, right? Thank you for your tutorial. I can’t wait to give this another try ❤

      Way to go! Yes, it does count for something! And, I think you practicing counts for even more! You can do it and you'll get better every time!

    I love your chain stitch no press till the block is constructed technique!!!! It has helped me so much to not touch the block with an iron until it is sewn together!!! Thank you so much!!!! I also ordered the iron tonight from your link!!! Also I am curious if your are on a JUKI straight stitch or a baby lock, I love that foot!!! I have a JUKI TL18 and don’t have that quarter inch foot which makes me think you are on a baby lock, I would love to know!!!! I love watching your videos!!!! ❤❤❤

      You are welcome! I'm glad you have found my tips helpful! Thank you for ordering from my iron link! I'm using a Juki Tl-2000 Qi here. The foot is called a 1/4" right compensating foot and I bought it separate from my machine. It is not a foot meant for piecing but I use it anyway. I'm actually getting a BERNINA soon and then I'll be making my videos with that machine.

    Thanks for the great tutorials Jessica! I have been following along with the 2024 Scrappy Sampler and now going back to view your earlier videos 😌. Can you tell me if this machine is a Juki TL2010?….if so, what foot are you using, I need to find one! Thanks again!

    • @jessica_dayon
      @jessica_dayon  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, it is a Juki TL-2000 Qi. The foot is called a 1/4" right compensating foot. It's not traditionally used for piecing but I liked using it anyway.

    Thank you. I found the schedule but not the size or pattern for this block.
    Thinking the center is 4.5 unfinished. Making the flying geese 2.5x4.5 with 2.5 corner squares. So… 8.5 unfinished??? Correct?

      It is in the blog post that I linked to in the video description. Scroll down in the post and look for the part that says click HERE for the pattern- you click on the word 'HERE'.

    Any quick tips for how to make this cute block as a 12.5 inch, instead of 8.5 inch? I’m so bad at changing block sizes.

    • @jessica_dayon
      @jessica_dayon  Год назад

      Not at the moment. I only wrote the pattern for an 8.5" square.

    Do you have an email address. I ordered something from your Etsy shop. I didn’t download right away. Now when I sign in I can’t find the order

      You can send me a message on Etsy and I can help there. However I can also tell you the process for accessing you Etsy download- Go directly to Etsy in a web browser and log into you account. Then, go to your purchases, find this transaction, and then click on the link that says ‘Download File’. You do need to be doing it from a web browser on your phone or a computer. It doesn’t work in the Etsy app and I have found that it doesn’t work when people click on the email from Etsy either. Once you download the file, you’ll be able to print it or save it.
