When she said we didnt have a lot in Thailand but they were happy, that struck me.
I moved to sweden when i was 6, i have a fading memory of my time in India (im 100% Indian). But all the memories i have are amazing, we didnt have a lot of money and mostly ate the same food everyday. But we were happy, the community, my cousins, neighbours. Yes we live in a nice apartment in Sweden, ith good schooling which im so thankful for. And my dad has a great job. Im so lucky to be here i wouldnt change that. But even my mom said the happiest times in her life was in India. So when she goes in pension she said she would probably move back or at least visit more times during the year. Yes its cheesy to say money doesnt buy happiness. Cause i'd rather have money, but it is true that hapiness truly is important...and u dont need money for it.
