For all those who doubted that Madara was able to control and rewind time as his will, check 3:18, he stopped the first shuriken with the left side of his weapon and then falls, then when his eyes start spinning and the whole scene rewinds, his movements are completely diferent, he use the right side of the weapon and doesn't get pushed back by the shuriken, he uses his weird uchiha weapon to reflects the shuriken without falling and reflects all of the shurikens he hadn't noticed back then.
At the time he fought Hashirama, he was also using EMS. Madara's newly formulated body has been restored way beyond what it was in his prime. Not only does he possess Mokuton, but he also wields a weapon far greater than the Nine-Tails himself. The Sage Of Six Paths is renowned for single-handedly defeating the 10-tailed Jubi, which is a culmination of all tailed beasts as one. Its strength is much greater than the Kyubi's itself, and it was defeated with the Rinnegan.
At that point in time, Madara wasn't in possession of the Rinnegan; a tool much more efficient than the Kyubi. Whether he could kill him, or not, the flashback still depicted that Madara took Hashirama to his limits. They were both beaten to a bloody pulp. He's just admiring his past rival and enemy. Madara hated him more than anything, but respected him as a shinobi. But in the long run, Madara faked his death and Hashirama fell for it. Which has caused many current problems.
Re-read the panel in chapter 581-page 15. Itachi clearly states.."Uchiha's eyes have a power able to affect the enemy, regardless of their 5 senses. In EXCHANGE of their OWN LIGHT." Sasuke assumed that Itachi was referring to Izanagi, to which Itachi alluded that it wasn't, but was a pair with Izanagi. Something many of us already knew, because Kishimoto implements Shinto Mythology in this story. Izanami was the sister and wife of Izanagi.
Lol, I don't know why people still insist that he died. It was already alluded by Kabuto that Madara not only survived that battle, but he gained Hashirama's DNA. If no one payed attention to that panel, then all you needed to do was absorb his very first statement, upon breaking open his coffin. "So it finally happened. That little brat Nagato finally managed to grow." The instant he mentioned Nagato's name, that was the big hint. Nagato was born many generations after Madara fought Hashirama.
Great video i can finally what the great battle was like between the two most powerful ninja besides naruto and sasuke and the others. but subtitles would be great
Let's cover the most important factor. Before Orochimaru/Kabuto got involved with incorporating the advanced Hashi cells on Madara's torso, Madara had already utilized some of them in the past. That's how he awoke the Rinnegan, shortly before his death. Which was around Nagato's childhood. Mokuton and his primordial body is due to Kabuto's doing, but the Rinnegan Madara obtained on his own. That's why Madara corrected him by saying.."Don't get the wrong idea. You didn't create this power."
Plus, if you glance back at the flashback of Madara w/Kyubi charging Hashirama, you will see that Madara gave him all he could handle. Both of them were beaten to a bloody pulp. This new Madara has ascended to a much greater level of power. And he openly admitted that he's been fooling around with the 5 kage's.
Nagato had it since birth, he was given it. The only person who was able to unlock it was Madara because he used Senju cells within his body to unlock it. Hence making himself near the sage of six paths in a sense.
Madara was acknowledging that in his prime, he lost to Hashirama. He was the strongest shinobi back then. There's no way that he can compete with the newly formed Edo Madara. The truth of the matter is, even though Hashirama defeated him, Madara took him to his limits. Not to mention he survived. The flashback clearly depicts Hashirama in rough shape, just as Madara was. So, imagine what the outcome would be, if he fought against Mokuton/Rinnegan Madara, Hashirama would be overwhelmed.
Chapter 577-Page 8. "After my brother died, he only left me his eyes and their power." The Izuna theory was practically killed off in that panel. Up until that moment, he was probably the prime candidate to be Tobi. Which makes you question who else it could possibly be. Usually, one's appearance wouldn't be used as evidence, but let's be frank. No other character in the story resembles Madara's notable hairstyle. Tobi's used to be identical in every aspect.
Madara DID die, but NOT by Hashirama's hands. Apparently, people are completely overlooking what Madara's first words were when he busted open his coffin. "So it finally happened. That little brat NAGATO finally managed to grow." Do you not realize that Nagato was born many generations AFTER the Valley Of The End confrontation? His knowledge on Nagato's existence is proof enough. Kabuto even revealed that in spite of losing, Madara survived and gained Hashirama's powers.
Kabuto even figured it out. He clearly stated.."I think I'm right that after your battle with the Shodai Hokage, you didn't die, did you? Despite losing, you managed to acquire his strength." Madara having recognition of Nagato/a person born long after his prime is proof that he survived. Tobi has even revealed that Nagato's Rinnegan was given to him. Until that statement has been elaborated further, the most logical explanation to this is that Nagato was given the same Rinnegan Madara awoke.
The "eyes" the elder inherited were a metaphor for his chakra and spiritual powers not necessarily saying he had the rinnegan since Nagato was said to be the first to possess it since the sage himself.
It's not a matter of Madara physically involving himself in any affairs following that battle. It's a matter of him influencing many events that have transpired. He is responsible for collaborating with Tobi, possibly even creating him. He instilled the idea of The Moon's Eye Plan, which Tobi is carrying out. Tobi has used Madara's Rinnegan to progress things. Tobi is pretty much the guy that is continuing Madara's legacy. ^All could've been avoided, if Hashirama just finished him off.
Keyword.."Was." This newly reformed Madara is stronger than Hashirama, to which Kabuto even refers the union between them as being the trump card But despite the fact that Orochimaru prototyped the advanced Senju cells, he is not the one solely responsible for Madara having the Rinnegan. Madara even set the record straight by saying.."Don't get the wrong idea. You did not create this power" and that's because Madara was the one who originally utilized the cells, after he obtained them.
Amaterasu is debatable, but Madara most certainly possesses Tsukuyomi. As usual, things are being overlooked. Both his and Tobi's plan involves casting MUGEN TSUKUYOMI on the moon. It was originally Madara's plan. The tailed beasts are needed to strengthen his eyes to the point where he can project them on something of that magnitude.
That's not what Kabuto and Madara were discussing. Kabuto stated.."What happens when you progress beyond the Sharingan is The Rinnegan. You are proof that our hypothesis was correct. The Sage Of Six Paths..I can now touch a fragment of that gods power..with YOUR power that I've created." To which Madara corrects him and tells him he did not. The Rinnegan that Madara manifested is something he gained on his own. Orochimaru/Kabuto had no involvement in that department.
By current problems, I'm referring more so to Tobi. While we don't know who he is, evidence strongly supports that he is some sort of creation of Madara's. He looks like him with the long hair, knows everything about him, and is continuing his work. And the prophecy states that.."The masked individual will be the harbinger of destruction.." which doesn't involve Kabuto, nor Orochimaru, so people shouldn't expect a return of him. And these flashbacks clearly indicate that Kabuto is going to die.
Orochimaru's only responsible for applying the enhanced Hashirama face to his torso. Even before this occurred, Madara had already utilized the cells to an extent. If he hadn't, he would've never acquired the Rinnegan, shortly before his death. This is precisely why Madara set the record straight when Kabuto was explaining the hypothesis they had come up with, by saying.."Don't get the wrong idea. You did not create this power."
Not only that, every Kage has some mysteries behind them. And i would also like them to make a filler about where the sage of six paths came from and the fight with the ten tails.
Sharingan's pre-cog implies that he's able to see everything slower, clear and react way faster in any situation so he's aware of everthing that's happening. Not changing what already happened, as is showed in this fight. In adition, uchihas don't even need MS in order to use it, when any other sharingan user uses precog, their eyes doesn't move like Madara's does. Also, this kinda explain why he don't use tsukuyomi or amateratsu, it's because he owns diferent abilities, like Kakashi's Kamui.
Obviously, the good guys will triumph. What story ever has the villains achieve their goals. Naruto has inherited the Will Of Fire. It's just that a lot more casualties and incidents could've been avoided, if the situation was fully taken care of in the first place.
We aren't aware of what Izanami does yet, but based on the way Itachi described the jutsu, suggests that it's more efficient than Izanagi. Izanagi alters destiny, whereas Izanami apparently.."decides" it. Plus, given the fact that Izanami is being introduced after Izanagi, further contributes that its capabilities are on a larger scale. We've not seen enough of Hashirama's powers to make a judgement call, but he's definitely not invincible. The flashback depicts him beaten to a bloody pulp.
I've never denied that Hashirama was the superior shinobi. But with him wielding power that was considered.."Fabled like the Sage" he should've made sure to finish the job. Power is one thing, but he was definitely lacking in the intellect department. Try and picture Itachi battling someone to the death. He would NEVER make the mistake of not accounting for his opponents body. He's beyond genius.
Izanami itself is not an offensive maneuver, but that doesn't mean it can't be used as a tool to deliver a fatal blow. The victim stands there incapacitated and motionless. They're unable to defend themselves while trapped in their own subconscious, figuring out how to end the loop. Itachi is allowing Kabuto the opportunity to acknowledge himself, and so on and so forth. What's to physically stop him from driving a mere kunai in the back of his skull? He's defenseless in the outside world.
Though, it is interesting to point out that IF Madara had chosen to, he could've defeated Hashirama; via Izanami. Thing is, it would've cost him one of his eyes, which isn't what the guy wanted. He had future plans to acquire the Rinnegan.
That's because he couldn't use it. He awakened it shortly before his death, but contrary to popular belief, It wasn't Hashirama who killed him, since Madara is aware of Nagato's existence. Nagato would not be born until many generations after Madara fought Hashirama.
There's a problem with that theory, Izanami like Izanagi sacrifices a least one eye to use that forbidden Sharingan eye technique, when Kabuto resurrected the real Madara to fight the Kazekage and the Tsuchikage, Madara could use both of his eyes with no problem, meaning neither eye was closed shut for good.
@kartiv3 That's because when Orochimaru used the Edo Tensei back then it wasn't perfected, he was still trying to improve it. Kabuto had a lot of time to figure out how to perfect the Edo Tensei and that's why when he brings people back from the dead, they're at their prime. This explains how Madara is able to take on 5 Kages at once and it also explains how Itachi got his eyes back even though Sasuke took them to awaken his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan
The most infamous Uchiha in history, not having the default MS techniques? Absolutely absurd He's always had them at his disposal. The guy just hasn't used them all yet. He HAS demonstrated Susano. And it has already been established that you can not awaken said maneuver, unless you have mastered the other two techniques. And need I remind you that Madara's lifelong goal has been the MUGEN TSUKUYOMI. That should be the indicator that he is in possession of those techniques.
If that were true, Obito would be about the same age as Kakashi and Lee. When Tobi slightly took off his mask we could see many wrinkles around his eyes, giving off the appearance of an old man.
Just to clear things up, Sage's older son may've had eyes even more powerful then the Rinnegan but yet the younger son won and became Rikudo's successor. Eyes isn't everything you know..
don't forget to, Tobi also has Sannin chakra within himself which gives him near First Sage control over the eyes. So with Uchiha and Sannin DNA, Tobi can keep his eyes on forever and ever.
In Hashirama's case, it was a pretty pointless and costly battle. He achieved nothing. The only thing he managed to do was fall prey to Madara's cunning. He assumed he'd killed him and didn't seem to realize that he was just a pawn in a much larger plan. His cells were acquired, which eventually led to Madara obtaining even greater power than him. Just as Tobi relayed.."The world thinks Uchiha Madara lost to Senju Hashirama, but what is the reality? The true winner looks towards the future."
It really all bottles down to common sense. It doesn't matter how much damage is dealt to the person. To ensure that they're unable to jeopardize things in the future, I'm flat out going to look for their soon to be rotting corpse. Haven't you seen loads of movies where for some apparent reason, the characters never make sure the villains are completely dead? They end up walking away, believing them to be dead, then the scene switches back to their body missing.
This is one of the best games i've played (dispite the fact i have only won 2 matches on x box live) the only thing missing is the real madara. at least he's in the cutscene fighting senju, exellent game and im starting to get a bit to addicted
Ok those of you saying this was crap because susano'o or amateratsu wasn't shown, notice how after Hashiram (1st hokage) sealed the fox and Madara a pile of smoke covered the area. It's possible that it was used to not spoil the rest of the fight. But this is most likely how the fight happend i mean why would Kishimoto just add this and say it's fake.
When a user's eye is sealed that means it's rendered useless; it's "sealed" shut. It has never been said "Edo Tensei can't revive it"; you've simply added on to that affect.
How does that reflect fear? Madara simply knew that he could not defeat Hashirama alone. "Fear" would be him begging for mercy, or pleading for his life. The guy was aware of his own physical limitations. He's not like Sasuke. He's extremely devious, and doesn't recklessly engage in combat against overwhelming odds. Madara had the balls and decency to acknowledge Hashirama as the top shinobi. And being the top shinobi is the only credit I can give him. Rooting for the good guys is so overrated.
"... if Madara could activate Izanagi or Izanami, without risks, he could've easily won the fight" Not really. I don't think we've seen enough of Hashirama's powers to be able to make a judgment like that. We don't even know what Izanami does yet. But I agree with what you said before that.
I won't take away the prowess that Hashirama obviously possessed, but he really has too much hype. People act as if his victory over Madara actually accomplished something. The only thing he managed to do was make Madara forgotten by history and allowed him to safely go into hiding. Not to mention acquire his cells and orchestrate events that have led up to the current storyline. Just as Tobi said.."The world thinks Madara lost to Hashirama. The true winner looks towards the future.."
No, he clearly said he picked up his Right Sharingan at Kannabi Bridge, the place where Obito died. That doesn't mean he is Obito, it just means he has Obito's Sharingan.
Why don't people understand that Izanagi/Izanami seals off one of the eyes, after being invoked. That applies to even the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. If it didn't, Madara would constantly spam those techniques.
Nagato's rinnegan as a child was exactly the same as his adult version. And IF Tobi had given Nagato Madara's eyes(which he didn't) then Nagato would've had both eternal Mangekyo sharingan and the rinnegan. The eyes appear to be a completely different ocular power. The only reason the eyes don't differ among individual(like the mangekyo sharingan) is because the 1st sage of the six paths had the same eyes as Nagato. A pupil inside a bunch of circles.
And I just don't care for Hashirama, in general. I just look at him as a powerhouse. The depths of someone's power is not what appeals to me. Majority of the time, I like the intellectual, opportunist-like characters in anime/manga. Honestly, Tobirama is more likable as a character to me. His design and overall look is neat, along with his Water Affinity techniques. Not to mention being the creator of Edo Tensei.
Hashirama had an undeniable prowess back then, undoubtedly. But he is not on par with the newly revived Madara. In his prime, If Madara was able to push Hashirama to his limits, imagine what the outcome would be now.
May I request a Ninja Info Card video on Generations. Just simple explanations on how to get the good, rare cards. Show us your cards please ^^ Thumbs up if you'd like that ^^
@HipHopJun And FYI, it's still possible that even Madara himself lives on, legitimately. We have no idea who Tobi even is, BUT there is conclusive evidence to suggest that he is Madara's shell, or clone cobbled together from his and Hashirama's DNA. Kisame recognized him as Madara. Tobi dresses like Madara. Tobi brags about Madara's accomplishments. I don't really think it is his identity in particular that Tobi is trying to conceal. Ever notice those bandages on his forehead? Soak that in.
minato: charge and set mark foe (madara, hashirama): ah! minato: jump space to a different location, but still spying from far away minato: throws shuriken as diversion foe: concentrated on the projectile minato: teleports behind and decapitates foe. POSSIBILITY!
@LeekLP Madara didn't have the Rinnegan when he fought Hashirama. Madara says that he awakened the Rinnegan "shortly before his death", and he lived long enough to know about Nagato, who obviously wasn't born until long after their duel.
@HipHopJun I see no reason for anyone to be butt hurt about it. Hashirama defeated him in battle, yes, but he didn't kill Madara. His awareness of Nagato is proof alone of that, while Kabuto himself even alluded that Madara survived. And Madara had to of had some of Hashi's DNA implanted before Kabuto did so, because Madara admitted that he awoke the Rinnegan shortly before his death. You need both Uchiha and Senju traits for this. Madara even told Kabuto not to mistake the power as his.
Dude. I have no idea what in the hell they were saying but that was bad ass. On a side note. Wouldn't it be funny if the real identity of Tobi is never revealed lol.
Basically, if Itachi had the intent to do so, he could've ended Kabuto's life by normals means already, but that would prevent Edo Tensei from being released.
this is not canon guys. the game just provided a scene of what could have happened on madara and hashirama's fight. the author, kishimoto has not released a chapter of the battle yet. they animate the manga that the author has created, therefore canon.
Claiming that Tobi is an even bigger genius than Madara, is a pretty narrow-minded generalization. Not only have we not seen enough of him to come to that conclusion, but it should be noted that he deceived the supposed uber ninja that Hashirama is/managed to hide his existence for years on end. He's probably the one who created/instructed Tobi to continue his work. A good fighter knows his mental and physical limitations. But an even greater fighter will figure a way around them.
Any chance you could get the English Versions of the Story videos in HD without the subtitles? That would be so amazingly awesome since they are so awesome but words showing up on the bottom takes away from them
With all these speculations of who Tobi is, I think it would be great if he turns out to be just a random guy. But I do think more attention need to be paid to Zetsu, after all, we have not a single background info on who he is or what he is, all the episodes that showed him kept him fairly low off the radar even though he made very important contributions. It seems odd that an akatsuki with such an extraordinary ability is somewhat neglected by the storyline. he is just as if not more mysterio
And it seems that you're one of the many that believe the traditional misconception that Madara was killed by Hashirama's hands. Read the M-A-N-G-A. The fact that he survived was further reinforced by the very first words the guy spoke in his debut. "So it finally happened. That little brat NAGATO finally managed to grow."
I wish that if they are going to make fillers in the anime, they make fillers about all the previous Kage's and characters. For example i would like to see a filler about Uchiha shisui in a real fight.
Itachi and Sasuke are going to teach Kabuto the same lesson they taught Orochimaru: No matter what he says or how much he tries, he will never, EVER surpass the power of the Uchiha.
i hope you read all the chapters in the manga and watched all the episodes in the anime as well... itachi is not alone when he took out the uchiha clan... he is with tobi that night, and danzo also helped him..
@Tech2ILLUSION - Cause people get excited about stuff they love. I personally think Tobi is Kagami Uchiha, but that's just me... You are right, there is no way we can know yet, so we'll have to hold out until it's revealed. It's just fun to debate about things like this, speculation fuels quite a lot of interesting and unique ideas! :D
@MadDragonify When Madara died, Hiruzen was probably still a Chunin or Jonin? No. Madara died at some point when Nagato was still a youngling. Nagato was born many generations after the fight between the 1st and Madara. I don't know why people still think Hashirama killed him. He didn't.
I miss the boss battle part from two where like u press buttons at right time the free roam and stuff like jariya vs pain where weak jayriya still fought and parts like sauske backing up from susanao
It all bottles down to two factors. For starters, this fight isn't canonical. Kishimoto had no involvement in its creation. It's merely an interpretation of the fight, squeezed into 5 minutes. Do you really think that this battle lasted only THAT long? When Kishi depicts this in the manga, THAT will be what REALLY happened. On top of the fact that this game had already been developed, before the real Madara was introduced and demonstrated any techniques. That's why Amaterasu/Susano isn't shown.
Lets get this to 1million guys :)
Done!
1.3 milion damn
OOOOOOHHH Sasuke!.. You look just like ITACHI-SAMA WHEN YOU'RE ANGRYYY HOOOHO~
By the way, have Madara's Sharingan-specific jutsu been revealed yet? Other than Sasunoo, that is.
True
yes, Madara actually had Mangekyou Sharingan ability, it was just never revealed.
Lets get this to 1 million guys! "D

wtf I owned him lol
nop u didn't :D
Uncle madara you are the first uchiha to lose to someone
Yea PS360 is right, read the manga, these guys are on a whole different level. This is barely a glimpse of their real power.

This is the best match ever if you ask me. I'm looking forward to what will be happen to Sasuke and Naruto.

Good video, but really a battle between Hasirama and Madara was more сooler, than in that video. It was very epic)

Also, this kinda explain why he don't use tsukuyomi or amateratsu, it's because he owns diferent abilities, like Kakashi's Kamui.
See, but he was secretly a sound ninja, so the spectacular jams he played were more than capable of defeating his enemies with ease.
Just got this game today! :D Can't wait!
I can't wait for the mob battles: they were confirmed in the achievments in naruto storm 3
@kartiv3 That's because when Orochimaru used the Edo Tensei back then it wasn't perfected, he was still trying to improve it. Kabuto had a lot of time to figure out how to perfect the Edo Tensei and that's why when he brings people back from the dead, they're at their prime. This explains how Madara is able to take on 5 Kages at once and it also explains how Itachi got his eyes back even though Sasuke took them to awaken his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan
yo ps3 i am a big fan of your videos but maybe in future videos can you add subtitles to them?
Whoa, a fight that isn't constantly interrupted by unimportant dialogue or flashbacks that we see almost every episode? Is this really Naruto?
Ok those of you saying this was crap because susano'o or amateratsu wasn't shown, notice how after Hashiram (1st hokage) sealed the fox and Madara a pile of smoke covered the area. It's possible that it was used to not spoil the rest of the fight. But this is most likely how the fight happend i mean why would Kishimoto just add this and say it's fake.
When a user's eye is sealed that means it's rendered useless; it's "sealed" shut. It has never been said "Edo Tensei can't revive it"; you've simply added on to that affect.
very nice video man!!!!!!!!
"... if Madara could activate Izanagi or Izanami, without risks, he could've easily won the fight"
Not really.
That was one out of many battles that Madara had with Hashirama
Can't believe this website has next weeks chapter already.
Hashirama had an undeniable prowess back then, undoubtedly. But he is not on par with the newly revived Madara. In his prime, If Madara was able to push Hashirama to his limits, imagine what the outcome would be now.
man they were fighting with the nine tails on a rampage battle must of been epic
May I request a Ninja Info Card video on Generations.
Just simple explanations on how to get the good, rare cards. Show us your cards please ^^
Thumbs up if you'd like that ^^
@HipHopJun
And FYI, it's still possible that even Madara himself lives on, legitimately.
A Video game with me in it?... I'm flattered..
minato: charge and set mark
foe (madara, hashirama): ah!
minato: jump space to a different location, but still spying from far away
minato: throws shuriken as diversion
foe: concentrated on the projectile
minato: teleports behind and decapitates foe.
POSSIBILITY!
@LeekLP Madara didn't have the Rinnegan when he fought Hashirama. Madara says that he awakened the Rinnegan "shortly before his death", and he lived long enough to know about Nagato, who obviously wasn't born until long after their duel.
This proves that Hashirama is better than Madara. He fought not only Madara but the Nine-Tails at the same time. And he lived.
@HipHopJun
I see no reason for anyone to be butt hurt about it.
Nice video dude
Madara didn't actually meant to fight for real, he was just trying to learn and find a way to get the senjuu power.
Itachi and Sasuke are going to teach Kabuto the same lesson they taught Orochimaru: No matter what he says or how much he tries, he will never, EVER surpass the power of the Uchiha.
thumbs up when u saw madara in title you thought it was storm 3
i hope you read all the chapters in the manga and watched all the episodes in the anime as well... itachi is not alone when he took out the uchiha clan... he is with tobi that night, and danzo also helped him..
@PS360HD2 the place where the most sales were made they make the last release date
Now now Kabuto.. Don't get ahead of yourself.. there is still too much work to be done.
Madara said himself, the first hokage's power was like a fairytale and labels him the strongest ninja..
Senju beat both nine-tail and madara at same time, what a man
God I just wish they'd release Madara as a DLC character... I've wanted him in there since Storm 2 dammit! D:
Really :( ... please can you tell me which chapter ?
Wow 8 years ago now your kinda famous 🙂
@MadDragonify
When Madara died, Hiruzen was probably still a Chunin or Jonin? No. Madara died at some point when Nagato was still a youngling. Nagato was born many generations after the fight between the 1st and Madara.
I don't know why people still think Hashirama killed him. He didn't.
good that this comment is up because this just made my day!! thank you!! :D
