- Vueling Trip Report flying from Malaga to Tenerife onboard one of the Vueling A320 planes on a lovely late-spring morning.
An amazing flight from Malaga to Tenerife with Vueling. This was one of the flights with better views in all 2021. It was perfect from the very beginning, taking off from Malaga during the sunrise. After that, we flew over the Spanish coast, we saw Gibraltar, Ceuta, Tanger, Casablanca...
And what about the approach? It was just amazing to fly in parallel to the island just before turning to final and start experiencing the summer Canary turbulences. Some people even screamed! hehe

Thank you for a truly splendid flight ! The take-off was great also, with the IAE engines in full song ! Shame about the hard landing, but no doubt well within the A320s capability ! I do like Vueling, and its good to see the Menus are now available too. Many thanks indeed !

I'm not going to lie, I got excited when I saw Gibraltar at 9:30. So nice to see Gib when taking off from Malaga and heading that way to the Canary Islands. Thank you for uploading and sharing!
I flew from SVQ to LPA in October last year with VLG. Flew on their NEO on the outbound leg and a ceo on the return leg. Boarding/deplaning was strangely well organised, I've flown on some flights where it's a mad rush to get on and off, very refreshing.

Very good and enjoyable trip report! Personally, I really like Vueling, a great airline with friendly crew members. The cabin interior looks also so good and the USB ports are also a nice addition.
Scenes during landing were awesome, especially with the clouds over the mountains. Really enjoyed watching it.

Hi Lucas.I see a lot of Tenerife flights.In winter time was Vienna and for Summer time I see Tenerife.that's fine for me.Wonderful sunrise take off and nice airport catches on the route my friend.I like the approach to Tenerife flying by the cruise ships and descending.See you on the next.Cheers buddy
Yeah, during the hard months of the pandemic in 2021 there were not too many options to travel, and Tenerife was one of those that didn't have almost any restrictions.

As ever great video, good sound of take off. Nice to see a bit of North Africa? Morocco. used to fly there twice a year until C 19. Keep them coming. Try to do a flight out of UK - Liverpool or Leeds/Bradford

El madrugar tiene sus compensaciones.....El amanecer sobre el Mediterráneo fue espectacular !! La niebla en TFN ha sido fatídica allí.

Lucas, felicitaciones, las fotografías que tienes en este vídeo son maravillosas, insisto debieras ser director de fotografía en cine (jajjajaja recuerda que soy actor) hay unos tiros de cámaras perfectos y unos paneos aprovechados por el movimiento del avión maravillosos. I don't know if it's sheer luck or keen planning, but this video is among the best on your channel! Very scenic indeed! Is Tenerife North the connecting port to all of the islands and the mainland, or does every island have it's own connection to the others and the Spanish mainlad?

I had landing in fog in Tenerife North. Pilot said that we could divert to Tenerife South, but luckily fog wasn't so strong.

Hola, a que Tenerife es muy bonito? ;), yo casi siempre voy ahí de vacaciones, y es muy chulo,¿has visitado el Teide? Si no lo has hecho, te lo recomiendo. A, por cierto, a mi me encanta hacer los vuelos por la mañana, pero con esto del virus... me gustaba que entrara al aeropuerto de noche y despegar viendo el amanecer en un avion, la verdad es muy bonito, porque en madrid, SIEMPRE cuando despegamos se pone a llover, y de repente sale el sol de las nubes, y como dices cuando aterrizaste, siempre hay nubes y mucha humedad, pero normalmente a los hoteles a los que voy creo que suelen estar en Tenerife Sur, y allí la meteorología es buena. BUEN VÍDEO sigue así 👍.

Tenerife no es la mejor isla para veranear por eso que dices del tiempo. En el sur es más constante el tiempo, pero en el norte siempre que he ido, siempre había nubes :D
Great video as always - strange how the pilots increase the thrust in 3 or 4 increments. Usually they stabilise the engines at 40% N1, then to selected Take Off power. I've been cabin crew for some years previous and never heard that sequence in increasing thrust before!

Yep, you are correct about the engines. Maybe the engineers were doing some maintenance during the night and it required several stabilized % before setting the takeoff thrust.

O A320 de matrícula EC-LQK da Vueling agora voa aqui no Brasil na ITA Itapemirim Transportes Aéreos sob a matrícula PS-SPJ. O interior da aeronave ainda é o mesmo da Vueling; igualzinho a esse A320 do vídeo.

Hola! Tengo una duda, ya que tienes mas experiencias en vuelos. Como ves una escala de 1h y 50 minutos con Ryanair (Hay que recoger maletas y volver a facturar) en el aeropuerto de Barcelona? Sin salir de la T2. Crees que daría tiempo o es demasiado justo. Gracias y un saludo!!!
Para vuelos que no están en la misma reserva siempre suelo dejar un mínimo de 2 horas, especialmente si tengo que recoger y volver a facturar una maleta.
Dejan llevar equipaje de cabina? Esque en la tarjeta de embarque me pone que tengo que facturar. Sin coste, pero tiene que ir en la bodega. Tanto en Vueling como en Volotea.
Eso debes consultarlo con la aerolínea, Xose. Prueba a llamarlos o busca la info en su web. Lo que puedes hacer también es llegar antes al aeropuerto e informarte allí, pero te recomendaría hacerlo antes del día del viaje.

This side of the Terminals in Malaga is just so much better. Departed out of the old part yesterday for the first time. Felt like another, way worse Airport to me.
