Thank you for being open about your mental health. We often only see picturesq and idealised images of what motherhood should be rather than reality. Normalising the struggles and not so fun side will help many women
Thank you so much, we do not talk about this topic enough as a society and I think women should be aware of these issues prior to having their first, just so they have awareness and plans for potential issues and grace and forgiveness for the struggles 🙂
My leaving home anxiety didn't develop until I was older, but I get it. I'm so glad you've been able to overcome it - it can be crippling! My issues begin when I start packing, and they usually stop when I'm in the car or in the airplane. I think my son was about 3 when I had my first trip away for a few days for a friend's wedding. There was a big overlap between having a child and having a parent with terminal cancer, so I didn't want either out of my sight.
I went through the same thing, it got so bad I needed medication😢thank you for sharing, always felt ashamed about my panic and anxiety until I learned so many suffer from this
I use a therapist service like Better Help but it accepts my health insurance. Having a virtual appointment with a therapist is so helpful! I’m so happy to hear that you have overcome your anxiety. I find anxiety to be very crippling.
Happy you were able to have a fun trip. Anxiety presents in many ways. Since you nurse, of a certainty you have hormonal shifts when you stop. On a funny note, I was watching you with someone who noticed you didn't play with your hair much!!! I think that is definitely a sign of less anxiety. 😂 ❤
I'm pregnant with my second child due in December. I'm a stay at home mom and my toddler daughter is with me all the time. I'm struggling with the idea that I have to leave her to give birth. I know she'll be okay. I think it's because I'm nursing her at night too. Many blessings to you and your family ❤️
This is just a thought, but could it be that you wanted to stay home because you wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. For a while in my life I was a stay-at-home Dad and I really enjoyed it.
I wish I could get over my postpartum anxiety and leave the house to run errands without any worry. My husband does not inspire any confidence!! Before I leave the house to go to the supermarket for 1 hour, I make sure our 5 month old baby has a fresh diaper and is fed and burped.
Thank you for sharing your story and helping others to realize that postpartum anxiety can come at anytime I did not have anxiety untill about a year and half after my children were born I'm just glad I felt that something was not right and I went to a therapist so again thank you for sharing your experience and telling people about postpartum issues that come up in women's lives because unfortunately there still seems to be a stigma attached to this topic I hope that you're video will start changing people's minds so that those who need help will not be ashamed to step forward Mira a.
BetterHelp is an awful company. They pay really good for a sponsorship but have no redeeming qualities otherwise. Please don't agree to be sponsored by them again. I won't watch this video and give it a dislike. But good luck on your mental health journey.
I’m a therapist with Better Help and I tend to disagree with you. I have helped many of my clients find a better path through life Online therapy may not be for everyone and that’s okay but let’s not detract from any means that may help someone find peace in their lives I’m happy for you, Marion, that you sought help when you needed it and that Better Help was instrumental in helping you accomplish your goals

Yes that's why I switched careers and that definitely helped!
