i love how you reworked the lyrics for english it fits sooo good, i love the "sobbing over fake love/anyone could be fine" and "so over fluff/i just wanna be railed", and the way you adapted the ending verse. your performance is so so good and fits the mood of the song so well
Guy when people covers it’s not uncommon for lyric changes to give unique style and personality, and it fits the theme and narrative of the original. Also when translating songs things get changed to fit beat and rhyme.

This is the first time I’d ever regretted that I was not born with English as my mother tone
I couldn’t even follow up the song even with the lyrics that are written in the description
And I’ve always wondering whether all the people who are born with English as their mother tone can sing a song this fast it’s just that Kuraiinu and other cover artist are the special ones
As an english speaker I can confirm that Kuraiinu is just really talented lol. I wish I could sing as fast as him
As an English speaker I barely understood either
Very few can sing this fast, even with rap, which is specifically structured to make it easier, they bormally couldn't sing this fast, so it makes it downright insane for this example, which doesn't really have those verbal flow optimizations you get with rap. Beyond that, english is actually a pretty bad language for verbal flow, as it's based in so many different languages, all with their own structures, which makes it much harder to make things flow together. A song in academic French is much easier to just speed up a lot, because french is a largely self-contained language (it's far from completely so, but better than english by a alor), it makes things flow much easier usually. Across the board, english is a slow, inconcise, and unclear language, which makes it even more insane to translate a song like this, which would be difficult to sing already for native Japanese speakers (hence hatsune miku as the original vocalist), and then sing it in English at a basically identical pace
There also could be few things the reason you can talk fast with English, it could be the words are easy to pronounce or the words rhyme with each other making the song easy to be sung or some words are repeated

@@Alexis1920i the way that the ends of words interact with the starts of the following words are far more important when going fast, and japanese is generally a lot better at that compared to English, so the line between rap and normal song in Japanese is a lot moee blurred, and fast non-rap songs are more common in Japanese, where as english is based in a bunch of different languages, earch with fundamentally different flows, making them far less fluid
honestly, i never usually listen to english covers.. but this?? my jaw dropped!!! this is so amazing! the lyrics and your singing is the best!! so much so that it feels like it originally came out like this! flawless!!

god, this comment section is NOT IT. has nobody heard of an english cover? it’s not the same as like an official english dub of an anime opening. the lyrics are translated to fit the rhythm of the song while maintaining it’s original meaning. several japanese words have more syllables than their english translation, so a 1-to-1 direct translation would sound clunky in english. as such, things have to be changed for english. quit complaining that the lyrics aren’t “correct” because it’s IMPOSSIBLE to have a direct japanese translation sound perfect in english.
