- After blasting your way through a good portion of the campaign, you'll finally arrive at what's considered "late game" of NIKKE. To maximize your account to get all the rewards from event challenge modes and solo raids, you'll have to think about some aspects of the game meta-wise. In this advanced gameplay guide, I'm gonna be explaining how I (personally) form teams, and how you can view and examine units that you're not familiar with, and some small tips regarding i-framing.

What a great video. Actually well-edited and very informative when compared to most of the stuff put out by other Nikke "content creators". Most of the other guys just throw on their webcam (or not) and then ramble on for 10 minutes about one thing. This video touched on multiple topics and elaborated on them in a clear manner which was very helpful for not just the mid-game player but also a new player like myself. Please keep up the great work, I look forward to the next installment of cummander bootcamp and any of your future uploads.

Can't lie, when I started SI I started taking this game 'seriously' and figuring out which of my characters could be used for what teams. Made Nihilister and Mother Whale a joke by the time I got up to them (Smol White made MW a cakewalk). Still not enough team comps for 5 good teams but I do have 3 solid teams and the only SI boss that still gives me trouble is Train. Doing pretty well considering I don't have Scarlet, Modernia or Liter yet. Wish this video had been out a while ago, had to watch a lot of videos to figure out some of these things, well done explaining.
Im my experience, Modernia somehow broke my game. She is so strong in campaigning scenarios, you won't change from the "main" group anymore.

I'm glad my teams were actually pretty spot on. Your explanation of I-framing made it click for me. I tried reading guides on it but the explanations never really clicked for me. A lot of them would be say: after the 3 bombs hide, then come out of hiding, or count the hits/sounds. The info that the bombs are hitting your unit in that time was the eureka info. I would like to add that some things like I-framing is also much easier on the ipad or, especially, the PC. In the beginning I wasn't able to do things a lot of others were achieving with similar teams since I was playing vertical on the phone. Being able to play horizontal at times for important or hard nodes makes it easier to play and see the whole battlefield.

How to build a team:
Step 1: Liter
Step 2: Profit
Its been a month since my Nikke units was composite of: Eunhwa (for armor reducer), Maxwell (my 1 shot waifu), Anis summer (quick shotgun drainer of HP), Dorothy (Burst 1 will change to litter if either of them gets more stars also max burst skills list), Rapunzel (team healer). In other tactics of my units here: Euhnwa, maxwell, anis, dorothy and Scarlet (just pure damage not using burst skill replacing rapunzel).
I just hit Synchro lvl 307 a few days ago.
My support core: Liter, Mariana
My DPS core: Scarlet, Modernia, and Red Hood.
I genuinely did not know abt the 'upon' and 'when' skill
I finally was able to get some t9 gear today cuz it was chatterbox, and seeing as I have a2 with her being anti chatterbox basically I almost actually killed him but got love tapped by his last couple of attacks lmao

This is more like it. Even a SS Tier welfare unit may not be available to a given player by the time they enter the later part of the game so rules of thumb for team building with any random group of synergistic Nikkes is nice to know.
Hold up, so sometimes when holding click on an rapture core or a boss' breakable part/weapon, i accidentally notice that the full burst is locked and trailing automatically that part i was aiming previously without actually moving the mouse myself, how can you do this consistently ?

I didn't know iframing was a thing. My game accidentally did it with noise during the Blacksmith fight while on auto and resulted in my first kill in Interception EX. 😂 Spent forever trying to figure out why his bombs weren't hurting her at all.

im on chapter 16 with 39k power by pushing with liter, blanc, noir, red hood, and scarlet. This cideo probably doesnt apply for me as i am WAY too underleveled but your videos are just so helpful that i might as well watch all of them. im stuck on lvl 120 because i can't seem to get enough cores (might just be a patience problem). And i cant seem to get enough burst/skill manuals. Since i got 3star snow white in the red hood event. My snow white is overpowered even at the same level compared to the rest of my team but her skills and bursts, and damage aren't that good. I am currently facing a lack of cp because i cant find a team for my snow white causing my cp to drop tremendously. again these problems might be because im not patient enough. Nice video btw I subbed
Would the teams be the same for auto-only players? I've been messing around with special interception but rarely get passed 14m dmg.
Hi pseychie, I just started the game not too long ago and I’ve really been appreciative of your guides. I have a question though. when it comes to upgrading skills, is it supposed to take a really long time (months) to fully max them? Or am I doing something wrong when it comes to farming materials?
There's 2 ways to get upgrade skills... one is through the events that give you blue and purple codes and the simulation room upon completing lvl 5 room it gives you all section from 1-5 rooms and get some solid amount of material. However this is still not enough for upgrading your units as fast as you can so yeah in short it takes up to a month to get a unit's skills 10/10/10 up to 40 days or so? Sometimes there's the 2x for materials which is pretty good and if you've invested a lot of materials on a unit you didn't really mean to upgrade right now the burst resets are active and can redeem already invested materials
I have been stack in 160 wall its hard to get many tickets
only later in the game your supposed to be at a power disadvantage? I have been like 2000-6000 behind the recommended level since at least stage 8-1 >.> .... Then again I have been pushing progression pretty hard and my main team is all of goddess squad except scarlet so would make sense I could push further earlier I suppose. Though I am finally being forced to wait for outpost payouts now in the middle of campaign 13.

This guide is partually outdated due to developers making main story easier. For example, i completed chapter 16 more than a week ago, but i had only 2 characters at 160 and one more on the way to this level, so i hit 160 wall in the middle of chapter 18. Also, i have only 22 SSR units in my roster, more than half of them are not good (like D, Milk, Yan, Mast, Ludmilla) so i can make only two-three good different teams at best.
I think this guide should be more for people who are at chapter 19-20, because it is a bit too early for people who just completed ch16. Though, it has some good advices 👍
