@@HolyFlare484 If I had written that comment today I wouldn't have phrased it so rudely, but Rock and Roll is used to refer to older and "lighter" forms of rock, whereas metal has a lot of distortion, generally sounds heavier/darker, and often has harsher vocals. Not always though, especially considering power metal singers. And James LaBrie.

By listening to the medley, I gained the effect of haste, protect, shell and aura (not berserk though) while working on my tasks at work.
The transition from one winged angel to man with the machine gun: beautiful
Final Fantasy IV, V, VII, IX, and XII were my favorites. Final Fantasy VII was my hard chosen favorite. Hard choice between VII, and IX.
Clash on the Big Bridge was on here so it gets my kudos. Love that one!

To zanarkand really took me off guard there, it simultaneously sounded like the most epic song ever while still having the power to make me tear up
I listened to it all while doing housework and i have to say, this is AMAZING! Sure, you(or whoever made this) could have added more ff9 songs, but still, this really pumped me up and made my work much mire enjoyable

The only disappointing thing about this medley is that there's only one track from FFIX and too many from FFX. Not that the FFX ones are bad, but would have liked to see at least one more from FFIX.

@sprinkle because when I turn this on and close my eyes i imagine two brothers adventure together, they have intense fights against strong opponents and epic creatures if I hadn't fallen. Asleep by sephiroth then something happens and the brothers get separated and turn on one another and so in and so forth and by the end of the song they kill each other but I am usually asleep by the 2t minute mark

That little part from 4:55 to 5:06 is actually the main theme from FFIII. And then starting from 5:06 to 5:22 is the FFIII battle theme.

That keyboard part on the first solo of the FF9 final battle theme reminds me of "Burn" by Deep Purple, I don't know if it was an intentional insert, but if it was, it's a spark of genius!

This is fantastic! My favourite themes generally come from later games in the series, but strangely the first 10 minutes are the best for me. And ending on just a snippet of X-2, inspired.
Edit: I'm including the intro to V in this, so the first 12 minutes, I guess.
That transition of The Extreme to Grand Cross was fucking masterful.

Still come back to this even after 6 years! Could potentially be updated with the newer FF's or a few other additional songs from the older games, but it's still solid as it is, particularly love that overall build up to the end of the FF6 section before going to FF7 and beyond, it's like the cut point for the old gen (NES and SNES etc) vs newer gen where it builds up again!

FFRK - Arranged Melody of Blinded by light is the most amazing one I have heard. The first one didn't pull me into battle as strongly as the original songs did. Even Aplocalypsis Noctis held so much more powerful meaning. Where blinded by light plays eh, doesn't pull or try to demand the thrill. Maybe i'm old school that is why, like first boss theme form Legend of Dragoon still gets me pumped.
What's really a shame is that this wasn't added onto later with the newest Final Fantasy releases out.

A new medley was produced it there's little to solve this problem.

in my opinion VI & VII, IX is my 3rd fav out of 14 Final Fantasies.
my guess is cause final fantasy 7 is most peoples fav final fantasy and is the uploaders fav as well.
That's because Nobuo Uematsu is the composer mainly up to FFX. New composers are too hit or miss to be considered appropriate (see FF13 and 13-II soundtracks).
