I have one and have been using in 10 and 11 meters for around five years. Have worked like a gem!
why is that a problem that it doesn't do cb? that's a good thing.
I have NEVER seen one of these radio's go below 28 MHz before. Didn't know they could even be modified to do this. Not sure if you said in the video but just how far down can they go?

where would I find a replacement power cord for this unit???
Jay M , the cord is the most common CB power cord around, Radio Shack, Ebay and Amazon

I buy one week ago .. Have too loud mod .. wich VR is to short modulation inside .. Microphone is so sencivity in a car or QRP ... ( wind .. scream ..) .. VR4 ??
ALWAYS somebody screwing with a good radio so it will work on the 11 meter band? Can't leave well enough alone.Maybe it will burn up & never work again anywhere in any mode.

It’s not your radio so don’t worry about it. Go sing you Conway wanna be. From a Ham that likes to convert radios to 11 meter. They was made to run on those frequencies they was just blocked to sell as a 10 meter radio.
