My boyfriend is going to start his transition in a few months and I want to be here for him as much as I can, your video are a really good way to learn about what he's going to experiment in the next years, thank you for sharing this with us. I wish you good luck Twins, everything is going to be alright and so many peoples will be thinking about you this day ! Take care, you and Nova are such a great source of inspiration for me. ~
Also, thanks for the information on Hysterectomies. I'm 4 days short of my 1 year on T and am unemployed, but trying to figure out my future surgeries and what needs to be saved up for. I haven't heard much about the benefits of hysterectomies, but I've been told they're important for staving potential future complications. This was very eye opening, and I'll be sure to talk to my doctor about them the next time I see her.
You are an inspiration to me and my friends, both as a person and a cosplayer. I wish you the best of luck, you'll be fine :) We're all rooting you on!!!
Hey dont worry about staying over night at the hospital. Trust me, you'll be waited on hand and foot, the beds are surprisingly comfortable too! I live in Vermont so it may be a little different, but I think your experience will be similar to mine :) I wish you the best of luck and a quick recovery! I've been watching your videos since the beginning, you are a very big inspiration to me :D
Good luck with your surgery! I hope things go well and that you can find a way to occupy yourself during the time you have to rest - having to stay still when you want to be active is horrible. :(
D: o my dear. I've been without internet for a while and I get back to hear this! Your voice is so deep! It's awesome! I'm glad everything's going well! :)
Not saying this to be mean or anything but I'm very envious of you...I have a disease I've been battled since I was 11 called endometriosis...my doctors didn't want to give me a hysterectomy because they want me to be able to have children and it causes early menopause. About a year and a half ago I had another surgery for my disease and my disease was so severe they had to cut a lot out of me...the surgery was so traumatic on my body it almost killed me. I contracted a 'super bug' and was in the hospital for a very long time fighting it. The doctors said if I hadn't gone back to the doctor and waited just another 24 hours, I would have died. I finally was told about a month ago by my first doctor that they would probably end up doing the hysterectomy after 3 months of this shot, Depot Lupron, if I didn't see any changes. It's sad that they wait until I almost die to realize that I need the surgery. In a few months it'll be about a year since your surgery lol I hope it all went well for you. Your videos are very funny, thank you for making me laugh and smile
Twin, you really are awesome. Good luck with your surgery, I hope everything goes well. Don't panic too much about your hospital stay and everything will be fine. :3
My Aunt had a hysterectomy today... Ironic this came up :D I wish you the best of luck, because I wish to have one some day! Please report everything that happens, I'd love to be educated, and you have such a way with words :3
I will be thinking about you! :3 really hope everything will be fine :) Also about the recovery, just try and keep reminding yourself that it will be worth it, and find something you can distract yourself with :)
My mom had a hysterectomy recently to help save her life in a way. She had went through it well. There are more than one way of going into it. She went through robotic surgery and she had gotten a coupe insisions (can't spell) on her abdomen to get rid of her scar tissue and everything. She didn't have complications. There's a bit of spotting and she still isn't allowed to lift anything over ten pounds. She is recently out of her surgery so its expected. She really didn't hurt afterwards.
Good luck Twin. I'll be thinking of you. Everyone will. We love you and hope that all goes well and that you'll be back in tip top shape in no time. Love you ^-^ mwuahh
I wish you luck and much happiness and joy. And just saying, there were parts of this video (mainly the little side notes) that made me giggle a little.
Thank you for sharing. I hope your surgery goes smoothly, perhaps bring something to keep your mind or hands occupied if you can't move around too much :)
I wish you all the luck in the world, and I know personally how you feel about hospitals, though mine isn't because of horror stories. Though I will say that you have almost no reason to worry. I have had times where I have been stuck in a hospital for almost two week at a time and I know someone will always be there guarding the rooms so nothing should happen. Still I understand your fear and I wish you the best and a fast recovery.
My mother just had a hysterectomy about a month ago. She was in pain for about two weeks and was forced to stay on the couch. We did have to buy her one of those back pillow with the arms coming off the sides. She couldnt really lay down. And the incisions were small. Only needed large band-aids changed everyday. But it went well and the recovery wasnt to long. :)
Have fun, twin! I'm proud of you for doing this. Thank you for setting an example and being someone there for all of us. Please, let me know how it goes and how it feels to FINALLY be able to be who you've been since the very beginning. I'm an Trans guy like yourself and I'll JUST be getting my first hormone blockers next week. I'm excited and scared. I don't like needles. *.* So, not quite so far along as you are but still. I hope it's everything you want and more. Enjoy.
I'm not going to wish you good luck, because you don't need it. You've got a great support system, awesome friends, and good doctors. You'll be just fine! Rock on Lucas!!
Don't worry too much about the hospitals Twin, they are a bit nerve wracking, yeah! But not too bad! I don't like sleeping in new places but due to being accident prone I was in and out of there all the time, it helps if you bring stuff you are used to sleeping around, a certain comforter or a bedside clock, anything, when I was a kid I always had a giant stuffed bear with me. Don't think of it as a hospital, just remember when you first moved out and think of it like that :) Good luck!
Best of lucky in your up coming surgery and hope that heal up fast and feel alot better after you get out of the hospital. And I'm with you on staying over night at a hospital its just one thing I never want to do might be the scare movies too.
Your not alone I hate hospitals and everything they stand for I mean sure they make you better again but just the atmosphere alone creeps me out so good luck and Im sure Nova will support you as well as your friends hang in there Twin your a fighter and a bloody brave one at that :)
When my grandma was going though menopause(?) she had a lot of hot flashes and had to run to the garage barefoot, the cold concrete would help get rid of the heat, so... You might have to go lay down on the bathroom floor or the tub when no one has used it, or maybe the kitchen floor, I hope this helped ^^ also it might be good to have ice with you at all times or maybe really cold water if you aren't at home. Good luck ^^
Twin, you're so brave to post this, and talk about these things, i personally have never had any transgender thoughts, but i am pretty sure if i did, i wouldn't be able to talk about it to the world via youtube like you are, and my friend who does have transgender thoughts, and is planning on having the switch after she turns 18, cried when i showed her your posts idk what my point really is here, i just think you're really fucking brave and a hero for everyone going through the same situation.
Ah, my mom had a hysterectomy on December 6th, as she wasn't going through menopause the way she should have. Because of her body shape, she actually has a pretty big scar instead of the little one most people wind up with. Instead of the tiny incision off to the side like usual, she had to get a 7 inch incision right down the middle of her belly with a couple dozen staples. She couldn't really lift anything or bend over at all for a few weeks, but she's fine now.
You'll be okay. You've made it this far, after all. I don't think anything can stop you now :-) A little hint, though: Once you're home from hospital after the surgery and if you have a bathtub, soak in some warm water with Epsom salts. It'll help with soreness and speed up the healing process.
im happy for u and don't feel bad there is no solid proof anywhere of what causes cancer but the conflicting hormones is a problem everyone has both but they do different things males and females just have different parts that produce more of it. i hope this info helps you in the long run because there is a lot of wrong information out there i soupport you 100% of the way i think its really great ur speaking of it lots of love
The shortages are due to a manufacturing error, namely they haven't been able to keep up with the demand. I would imagine it's the same in Canada as in the U.S. :) (not creepy, I just work in a pharmacy) Good luck with your surgery, it'll be fine tho. We'll be praying for fast recovery (as I'm sure ur gf will... don't drive her too crazy). Also, I'm sure you've read it, but there's a good article on the mayo clinic's website about what to expect before/during/after a hysterectomy :)
I know I'm being unoriginal here, but don't worry too much. I'm sure things will turn out fine and things will be better in the long run. I wish you the best of luck Twinfools!!
Twin, i had a few questions/comments. 1. is someone going to be there to help take care of you after you get back from the hospital? 2. don't get stressed out, it is the worst thing to do. 3. try to read a book or something it will help keep your mind active. 4. hospitals are not that bad, my g-ma has been working at one for 26 years. 5. do you know when you will be able to do videos again? (we will miss you a lot). and that's it. be safe and try to relax.
Could you possibly turn the volume up on your mic when you're recording? My volume is all the way up and I can barely hear you :( Congrats and get well soon!
Twinfools, I want to send you all my encouragement to get over the surgery, and hope you recover as soon as possible so you can move around freely at your will (^-^) Lots of love! (^з^)
Time for the most unoriginal comment ever, but it still needs to be said. Best of luck, and I wish you a speedy and easy recovery. Also, remember, you own mind is your worst enemy, don't get stressed out about it. The less you worry, the easier it will be.
My mother had to get one because she had a super high chance of cancer in her uterus. ._. Not because she was on T, just because it's in our family (yay...). But she had to be bed-ridden for a while. Oh, and you look really good. ^.^
Take with you as MANY TEDDIE BEARS AS YOU CAN!!!! And everything will be fine, ^^ being at hospital sucks, but sometimes it's the only way to recover and be under a doctor's view day and nigght. I know how you feel, plz ALWAYS think positive things and do not let tough time make you give up
Good luck, Twin, you will always be in my thoughts and I hope everything goes well for you!
Its so great to see how far you have come, ive been watching since the beginning :)
Wish you the best of luck! Just remember that we all are rooting you on!
Your voice seem so much deeper since your last video. I like it.
And also props for speaking up about hysto!
You'll be fine, Lucas :) not only are all of your friends rooting for you, but each and every one of us out on youtube are wishing you well, too!
