Sounds like a great purchase totally agree upgrading the trx4 gets very expensive especially $AUD I don't usually drive the trx4 with unlocked diffs either really only on longer trails I use it beluga looks amazing great work on the build 👊
Thanks a lot for watching and your kind comment Mark. And for beginnes the price's very attractive. If you don't like it, sell it on ebay and you don't have such a big loss as you might have with a TRX. And also I don't have to keep an eye on my grandkids everytime they drive. The car pardons a lot of mistakes and broken parts aren't in the pricerange of a Tamiya kit. Have a great weekend my friend.
No spoilers but I'll have an unboxing coming soon it has everything a trx4 has but half the price I'm expecting to perform aswell if not better than the trx4
You are so right Dirk with Traxxas, that's why I do use there upgrades at all. Now with the spares, I wonder if there are other versions with a different name like the maybe FTX does one and normally they are good for spares. These companies do buy cars and just add there names all the time.
So true Mal. I heard RGT brought out a non-licensed Bronco these days. Technical it's a Vanquish Phoenix from the chassis. But it looks like all the Chinese companies share the same body supplier.😉
That's a Super Deal Dirk 🎉 RCF4L and You're Updates has Done Really Good ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing =Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏 SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy Brother 🎉⭐⭐⭐🎉
Thanks a lot for watching and your kind comment my friend. I like my TRX4, but for my grandchilds this simple car with cool upgrades like lights and sound it's more than perfect.
I love the color on this crawler, and the decals look amazing, the price is nice and easy on the wallet, very nice looking crawler overall. Thumbs up and a sub. 👍💯👍💯👍💯👍
Thanks a lot for watching and your kind comment my friend. At first I wasn't so happy with the colour, but I didn't want to have another red one. But un the end this pinkblue fits perfect to the stickers. And now I'm happy, too.
That was an excellent review Dirk, I think that the Beluga will be a good choice for very little money. The upgrades you done to it to include the HW Fusion. I don't think you will have that much problems getting replacement parts. Thanks for sharing with us. Take care and stay safe my friend.
Thank you Al. This car's pure fun so far. I have to sent it out on the rocks as a last test, but I'm optimistic with it. For the spare parts you're right. Banggood has many of them and as for the pinion I'm pretty sure many Traxxas' would fit.
Thanks for the video, I have my Beluga still on the way, but your videos also helped me with the decision. I paid 168 Euros with a discount on Ali for it. I will also take my inspiration from your videos with the potential upgrades. Thanks for all that.
🆒There are so many nice RC cars for sale. I am a starter in the RC field and now mainly look around on RUclips for inspiration. Thanks for sharing. 👍👋🍀
It is Tibor. Maybe not if you want to go on really hard competitions. But for standard usage it's a great car. Maybe I'll change my mind when I had done the rock run in the next weeks😉 . I'm very optimistic for that.
Great review Dirk! Did you add the tow hitch and rear antenna or did those come with the kit? I'd love to add a tow hitch to my CC-02 bronco but I haven't found a way to do that yet. I'll have to take a closer look..there must be something available for it. But the tow hitch would have to attach to the chassis somehow.
Antenna was frim Amazon. You get a pair of different ones for around 10 bucks. The hitch's from the same source. There're many different out there. Most Chinese producede. I like your idea. You have find one with a mount which can be attached to the chassis. Most of the RTRs have a square hole for the hitch. If nothing's to be found, maybe you can get this rear part (don't know the right term) which sits between the rails from a RTR and screw it ont your chassis.
Ich mag Deinen Beluga . Sowas reicht mir voll und ganz. Man kann da seine eigenen Ideen einbauen. Das schöne ist dabei, das man die Verbesserung deutlich erkennt. Noch was .
That's a great truck for the money matey, especially with all those quality parts. It looks nice in action as well! As for Traxxas..... I really don't like that company, or their business ethics. It's a shame, because they do make some great cars. Must have a go at crawling some day! 👍 👍 👍
True words my friend. What motivated me, was to see, if they really produce crap the next door beside the big companies. The Beluga's uses slightly softer plasticl, which isn't a con, it has no switchable diff-locks, which I don't need and the customer don't have to pay for licenses or names either for the model company nor for the original. And I'm pretty sure for testing, if you like crawling, staying under 300 bucks is great and I'm pretty sure you get more miney back on ebay, if your not a crawler and compared to tbe expensive cars.
Thanks for watching Mark. Idon't know if I got you right. Yes, my TRX is around 2K and the Beluga has many upgrades and reached now the Traxxas kit price. I can do more, but I'm happy how it is now. This video's about the Beluga.
@@RCBirds Out of Interest ? Have you tried to see if the Diffs are tbe Same as the Traxxas as in like, willl they fit . Is the beluga a Blatant Rip Off.?
@@mark-1rc502 that's right, they fit. But right for now I'm not in a need for diffs. Also, meaning to buy exra servos and a new radio system. The Beluga looks very close to the TRX chassis. But it's not a 1:1 copy. You cannot change the wheelbase. Lights won't fit, etc. If you like to get it closer to the Traxxas you'll have do do a lot of basic changes.
I noticed that a completely stock Beluga will really struggle to keep up with a stock Bronco (ruclips.net/video/j3ZHGMCuswU/видео.html). The 2 biggest things holding it back are the slow bottom end crawl control (which it pretty much doesn't have) and the incredibly cheap compound tires. After just 3 outings, my Beluga's tires looked worse for wear than the stock tires on my brother's very used 3 year old Bronco. Even did an experiment with swapping the tires between the two trucks and suddenly the Beluga was doing better on stuff than the Bronco, but still not as good as the Bronco was doing before the tire swap. I pretty much immediately ordered a full set of new tires (Tusks), metal wheels, and inserts (Injora greens, too soft) and its greatly closed the gap with the Bronco.
Hi thanks for watching and you´re right. From somewhere has to come the budged price. The Beluga in my video isn´t stock. I use one of these standard devises, in which you type in the exact battery specs and can choose the charging mode.
