I have to say I'm greatly impressed by how well this foundation controlled the oil. Nine hour wear is actually pretty good for a drug store foundation for us oily girls. I have to agree at the five hour mark you looked really good. Thanks for another great video.
Yasssss Nikkia!!!!! I was already on RUclips when I saw your notification I literately clicked on it sooo fast... I love your reviews. I love how honest you are for us oily skin girls.
I always am excited to see an upload from your channel. Even though my skin is dry, I have learned so much from you. You have helped give a 44-year-old more confidence to play with color and be more daring with make up. I find you so inspiring!! Thank you!!
Never Too Beauty She is one of the two who I absolutely trust on their opinions of products. I tell anyone who likes beauty channels about her. She needs to have the millions of followers that the other I fluencers have who are not half the talent that she is!!
I would actually love you to do a foundation battle between this one and the original Color Stay! Color Stay is one of the very few drugstore ones I can wear without it melting off my face and I was curious when I saw this new one out if it was just as good. Thanks for the awesome review :)
Emily A I really like the maybelline superstay and Mac studio fix! I just ordered the tatcha silk canvas primer so I’m hoping that will help with other foundations! My biggest problem is my oily skin breaks up the foundation and makes it look terrible within hours sometimes
Nikkia!!! I love love LOVE how natural and bright and “simple” this makeup look turned out. You have the most beautiful features and it was a joy being able to see the natural shape of your eyes without heavy winged liner. Slay!!!
Hi Nikkia. I just need to let you know just what a great skin therapist and make up artist you are. I'm an oily skin type and I've implemented about 90% of all your recommendations and I'm now hardly producing any oil at all ! I also work in the healthcare industry and have an interest in makeup artistry so I admire the guts you had to take a leap career wise and make it the success that it is with a lot of hard work behind the scene. Inspirational on a number of levels. Keep up the good work. 😊😊
I love how honest you are about your skin “issues”. I have just about the same skin type and struggle with getting my base to look flawless. Thanks for all the great advice.
I love the camera quality as we can actually see the issues you raised rather than other who point stuff out but we cannot see due to it being blurred lol Thank you for truly sharing with us! Great review
wait...you mean i bought a foundation..thats NEW..and worn it before a beauty guru made a review on it?!?!?! I feel so up with the times!!!! I honestly am loving this foundation (and i've never said that before)..i have the hardest time with decent coverage and not separating as soon as it goes on my face..i wish it covered a little more..but it applied so good for me..and i dont feel cakey or like i have loads of makeup on my face..
Nikkia, I just want to say thank you!!! I usually have oily skin all year round but this winter (Sydney) has been so dry. All of my holy grail foundations wouldn't go on without highlighting all the dry bits. I recalled you recommending L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation once, saying it works well with your oily skin and it's for normal/dry skin. So I bought it (took advantage of Priceline 1/2 price sales) and omg I have been quite obsessed with it. It makes my skin looks so nice but still has a decent oil control.
I love how close up you get in your foundation reviews. I CAN ACTUALLY SEE YOUR SKIN AND I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! Also, your right eyebrow is #goals. Lol 💕
Thank you so much for giving such a great review of the product! I’m so happy how it behaves in oily skin! I just bought one and I’m so excited to try it 🥰
Best way I have found to apply this foundation is to dot on the skin and then blend out with a brush. Brush needs to be a little dense but not a huge brush. It doesn’t look great with a beauty blender. Hope this helps everyone.
🙋♀️Oily skin girl here too! I used to love the whipped Colorstay foundation. Nice coverage, long wearing but it wasn’t dead matte. YESSSSS foundation wars please! Your eyes are gorgeous!!!
I so live fot your foundation reviews! Come through for us pily girls all the time 👏👏👏 and Revlon is my def fave for keeping this face beat even after a workout 💁
I know the shade range isn’t great but will you try the Beauty Blender foundation? And the Dior backstage? My skin is like yours and usually what works for you works for me. Thank you and love the video!!!
Your eyes are just phenomenal. I loved this review because I have semi oily skin and I think I will purchase this product. Thanks for always being so upfront. You look gorgeous.
Your reviews are so helpful I really want to try this one now. I have a few foundations I use, but the Colourstay has been my favourite because the coverage is good and it can go the longest without getting shiny. In my job, there are so many times I don't get the chance to blot or touch up with powder, so hopefully this one can get me through to the end of the day. Texture I can handle, it's visible oily skin that makes me feel the most self-conscious.
Finally! 🤗 I freaking love your foundation's reviews because I'm also a oily skin girl and your opinion means the world to me when I have to buy a new foundation! Thank you for your honest review 😘 ❤️Oh and we are the same colour skin so even better!
I've been trialling this on my skin for the past six days and I am super, super impressed! Is it full coverage? I would say medium at best, but it is buildable. And all its other claims about being lightweight, not cakey and not fading, I would absolutely agree with. Although it is matte, the one claim it doesn't make is that its oil-controlling - which is crazy because that is what it's best at. I don't know if it is because I've been religiously using the mattifying L'Oreal clay mask, or my new primer combination of the NYX pore filler and Rimmel Stay Matte together, but when I wear this foundation it looks good all day. It's lasted on days where I can't touch up, I've taken it from work to dining out, and today I had it on for 15 hours with no touch up because I've been so busy - it was hardly shiny at all when I took it off. It may not work for everyone, but I would definitely encourage oily skin types to give it a go.
I bought it and it does well in humidity, but it wasn't full coverage. More light to medium, but you can layer it! It has no spf but it's an OK foundation. :)
Do the comparison for sure! I've used original Color Stay forever, like since the early nineties. I've tried others but I always go back and I will have a bottle or two in my stash at all times.
Girl, I just found you and am in love. Have a list with all your hits and worth its....running out of space. Thanks for all your help. And now I must save $ for more cosmetics....I'm so excited!
Absolutely loved this foundation. It controlled the oil so well even better than those 40 dollar foundations. The only foundation I've seen that's been able to control my oils is Lock it by KatvonD. But that foundation is very heavy and cakey. The Revlon one was easier to blend. It was creamier.
Absolutely loving the review but you are 100% correct hun, they don’t accommodate for darker skin in the drugstore range unfortunately and I couldn’t find one that matched my skin tone truly. So far double wear is the only one I have found to have my true shade 😞🤨
I love your makeup tutorials! I am almost 37 years old and would love if you could do a tutorial for more mature skin. I know there are some differences in eye and concealer application but I would really like to get your professional opinion. Thank you and as always, love everything you do!
I’d love to see a side by side comparison with the original colorstay matte formula by revlon ♥️♥️♥️ thank you as always for your fabulous reviews and tutorials xxx
Hi Nikkia! Your tutorials are amazing and I love your foundation reviews! As an oily skin girl myself, I’d love to see you review the new it cosmetics matte CC cream! Also, it’d be helpful if you made a video of BB/CC creams for oily skin! ❤️
Do you think overall a beauty blender is better to apply foundation than a brush? I never had luck with flat foundation brushes but thinking of trying a stippling brush. Also, could you please do a colour correcting video? Just find in winter, my cheeks are so red and they peek through any foundation I try. I bought the L'Oreal corrector pallette and I'd love to know what you do with the purple! X
Not Nikkia, so I hope you don't mind me jumping in here... the purple correctors are usually for yellow-brown discolouration (like if you get a bit sallow from illness or tiredness, some undereye shadows that are more yellow/brown than blue/purple, yellow bruising), and for general brightening of the complexion. I've also used it help cool-down/neutralise an overly yellow foundation or concealer (I'm really cool-toned and warm yellow-based foundations look awful on me).
Nikkia from what I have read this is the ColorStay Whipped Crème repackaged. It used to come in a little pot before. "Fortunately, a second [Revlon] customer service rep answered with info that was much more helpful: "Revlon ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup has been REPACKAGED in a tube and is now called ColorStay Full Cover Foundation."
Ladies I love this foundation since new pkging and ran into same problem. Solution spritz face w blank setting spray...if oily use a mattifying spray...but i used regular fix+. And i used it outside during a long miserable hot and humid day and IT WORKS!! I wore it to funeral do i gave it a once over and Revlon Colorstay did not fail me!! Yeah just use a spray to melt it down. ONLY THING use a primer dont count on the one inside.
Yes! I'd love to see a comparison. I'd also love to see you try out IT cosmetics CC Matte. We have similar skin types. The regular cc doesnt seem to last the best on my skin and am super curious about the matte version. I have a hard time with a lot of foundations. Thanks for all you do! 💙
You need to try the It Cosmetics oil free matte CC cream.. I used it today, I did not get oily at all today. I wore it a good 12 hours today. I love in Arizona. It is extremely hot and a little humid cause of monsoon season
I love love love your foundation reviews and recommendations 💕💕 you should try smashbox 15 hour wear hydrating foundation, I’m a super oily skin and I love it 💕
Can the method of application, ie brush or sponge, make a difference in primer or no primer? Could it be worth maybe prime top half of your face that was each method shows on either primer option? Im not tryinng to be critical, it's just something I always wonder about.
Nikkia, I'm only oily in my t-zone. Im 47, wore makeup regularly when I was in my 20's and before but after I had kids I stopped taking time for me. Now I'm having a horrible time finding a foundation, high end or drug store, that looks good on my skin. I always wear a primer but it either looks cakey or has dry patches around my mouth and some just don't cover well enough. Can you, or anyone who reads this, recommend a foundation that provides medium to full coverage yet doesn't feel heavy, like your wearing a mask on your face? Thank you in advance for any recommendations you can offer.
Vednah Apanah I haven't tried that particular foundation. What is it about the UD foundation that you like? I'll go by Ulta this weekend and check it out. Thanks for the input.
Robin Van Slyke The foundation is very lightweight and it doesn’t cling to dry patch. It is medium coverage and has a dewy finish. The foundation also contains peptides to help with skin elasticity.
Nikkia I don’t feel like I use the hourglass primer correctly. I have tried so many times but always feel like it balls up on me. What am I doing wrong??
Thanks for this review! I love that you are always so honest 😘 and i already bought a lot of stuff after your reviews !!! 😍 Could you please do a review on the new Maybelline DREAM SATIN LIQUID foundation? My skin is really dry with very oily areas so it’s really hard to find a foundation thats working on my skin 🤔 And please go on with what you do and how you do it 😘
I love you Nikkia!! No filters on your cam make me feel so confident and secure while I do my makeup!! Thankyou so much!! 💕💕
I have to say I'm greatly impressed by how well this foundation controlled the oil. Nine hour wear is actually pretty good for a drug store foundation for us oily girls. I have to agree at the five hour mark you looked really good. Thanks for another great video.

Me too! I'm 53 with dry sensitive skin and yet I've learned so much. Plus she makes make up fun again for me😍😍
Charity Sheppard you’re 44? You look freaking amazing!
Елена Водора Thay is very kind of you. It is nice to know that so many people my age love her too!!
Your "chilling today" makeup looks better than my glamorous makeup look lol beautiful
your camera quality is so good
I would actually love you to do a foundation battle between this one and the original Color Stay! Color Stay is one of the very few drugstore ones I can wear without it melting off my face and I was curious when I saw this new one out if it was just as good. Thanks for the awesome review :)
Maria Andrei-Gedja I totally agree! Please can you do a foundation battle. I love the original so hopefully I can still buy it 🤔
Yes!!
yes please
This to me looks like the whipped Colorstay they stopped selling.
I have verrrryyyyyy oily skin and I always know I can trust your foundation reviews 💕
Lillian Kinsley what are your fave foundations for oily skin?
Emily A I really like the maybelline superstay and Mac studio fix! I just ordered the tatcha silk canvas primer so I’m hoping that will help with other foundations! My biggest problem is my oily skin breaks up the foundation and makes it look terrible within hours sometimes
I appreciate SO MUCH how close up you get with reviews and applications of makeup! So many others don’t and it’s extremely frustrating.

I loveeeeeee you with light makeup on! Just light blush, lips, and natural lashes! OMG 😍😍😍
After you had it all on I audibly gasped because I couldn't believe how beautiful your skin looked 😯 I'm definitely going to try this foundation now
your eyebrows and the color of your eyes has me shook. so beautiful !! 💖
Yes, it is a stand-out foundation for oily skin however I can't wait to wash it off at the end of a work day as it feels very heavy.
I have acne oily skin , but even for me this foundation so dry 😅
Yes thank you for your quality videos in many ways, NOT only camera. You bring a lot of cheerful energy as well☺

Yes please definitely want to see old vs new!!! I love the old one it's one of my holy grails
Ooh please do a side by side comparison with the old and new formula!
You rock girl! Love you
It did look pretty matte at the end of the day.
I know the shade range isn’t great but will you try the Beauty Blender foundation? And the Dior backstage? My skin is like yours and usually what works for you works for me. Thank you and love the video!!!
Agreed! Very interested to see how the Beauty Blender foundation would work for us oily gals!
Ahhh!!! I love you sooo much!!❤️ I have learned so much with you. Please do a video using ONLY your favorite HOLY GRAILS of all time!
Thay Costa Yes! Would love to see her holy grails

This is a reboot of the Colorstay whipped foundation that launched about 6 years ago. It was in a heavy glass jar before.
Yes please compare both formulas! The color stay foundations are my go to bases!
❤️YAS❤️ I must try this foundation as I am super oily. Thank you for the review and you look gorgeous as always! 😍😍😍
As always love your tutorials...I make my makeup buying decisions after I've watched you 😍😍
1:38 “if you’re hoping for me to look super cute it’s not happening”

Love your videos 😘
Thanks for always having honest reviews! This seems like it would be a good mixer to add in to help other better looking foundations stay longer 😊

this foundation is AMAZING!! LASTS ALL DAY AND BETTER THAN SOME HIGH END
Try the Dior backstage foundation! It’s supposed to be life proof! Like, sweat, Humidity, everything proof!
Tiffany Kirk check out Charlotte holdcroft's video on it. She also reviewed the other Dior items
Allison Davis can you please link it
Links usually are labeled spam, so just search for her :)

Would really love a video on brushes, sponges etc, uses, care and cleaning
Thank you. The longevity of this foundation is definitely catching my attention. I've been waiting on a Doir backstage review..in the near future????
I always appreciate your helpful, thorough, detailed, honest, and informative reviews!! Love you, Nikkia!!💖😘 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Your skin is so beautiful without makeup!
Nikkia I’m sure I watched a video of yours where you used a cleansing brush, what one was it? I’m looking at purchasing one xx
And no difference with and with out the primer! Good Job Revlon👌🏻
I know you said you weren’t going all out because it’s a home-day, but this makeup look is stunning ❤️
Hi Nikkia! Your tutorials are amazing and I love your foundation reviews! As an oily skin girl myself, I’d love to see you review the new it cosmetics matte CC cream! Also, it’d be helpful if you made a video of BB/CC creams for oily skin! ❤️

Thanks for this video 💖 Can you do a video on your favorite makeup brushes? Thanks Nikkia love your channel 😁
Will you try the laura geller cover lock foundation??
Ladies I love this foundation since new pkging and ran into same problem. Solution spritz face w blank setting spray...if oily use a mattifying spray...but i used regular fix+. And i used it outside during a long miserable hot and humid day and IT WORKS!! I wore it to funeral do i gave it a once over and Revlon Colorstay did not fail me!! Yeah just use a spray to melt it down. ONLY THING use a primer dont count on the one inside.
Love this everyday look on you. What blush/lipstick and concealer are you wearing? Looks bomb
I would definitely love you to test both revlon formulas side by side as I love the original foundation
Loved this tutorial! I'm curious what powder you used with it though
Yeah plz do a comparison war. Gr8 video 💜💜💜💜
Yes! I'd love to see a comparison.
I'd also love to see you try out IT cosmetics CC Matte. We have similar skin types. The regular cc doesnt seem to last the best on my skin and am super curious about the matte version. I have a hard time with a lot of foundations. Thanks for all you do! 💙
Can you compare it to the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation too? They look so similar!
Yaaasss, Because the original is my absolute fav!
Thanks a lot for this video gorgeous 😍😍 was waiting for you to do it ❤
LOVE your close ups!!! THANKS!!
You need to try the It Cosmetics oil free matte CC cream.. I used it today, I did not get oily at all today. I wore it a good 12 hours today. I love in Arizona. It is extremely hot and a little humid cause of monsoon season
I’m a huge fan of the original Revlon Colorstay! Foundation wars please!! 😀
I love love love your foundation reviews and recommendations 💕💕 you should try smashbox 15 hour wear hydrating foundation, I’m a super oily skin and I love it 💕
Had to comment before I watch, I love you so much ❤️ always trust your reviews and opinions. Love from Scotland!
Hi Nikkia, I've got oily skin and am going to be doing my own makeup for formal. What foundation should I use?
Love your tutorials and reviews! Have you tried loreal infallible matte?
Hi Nikkia off top what nail polish are you wearing? what colour is it. love your youtube makeup.
are you going to review Dior Backstage foundation?
i wonder if mixing it with the colourpop foundation would help with texture issues
Ur eyesbrows color without putting make up yet is nice color , have u put any eye brow pencil on it already ? If so what brand and color plsss :) ?
I really hope you do the comparison with the original!
Thanks for the review. My favorite foundation is Estee Lauder double wear but sadly it triggers acne for me :(
Yes please do a side by side. I love the original colorstay. I'm oily also.
Can the method of application, ie brush or sponge, make a difference in primer or no primer? Could it be worth maybe prime top half of your face that was each method shows on either primer option?
Im not tryinng to be critical, it's just something I always wonder about.
Would you try the tatcha silk canvas primer??

Have you tried Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup?
Vednah Apanah I haven't tried that particular foundation. What is it about the UD foundation that you like? I'll go by Ulta this weekend and check it out. Thanks for the input.
Robin Van Slyke The foundation is very lightweight and it doesn’t cling to dry patch. It is medium coverage and has a dewy finish. The foundation also contains peptides to help with skin elasticity.

Thanks for this review! I love that you are always so honest 😘 and i already bought a lot of stuff after your reviews !!! 😍
Could you please do a review on the new Maybelline DREAM SATIN LIQUID foundation?
My skin is really dry with very oily areas so it’s really hard to find a foundation thats working on my skin 🤔
And please go on with what you do and how you do it 😘
This foundation vs. the maybelline superstay one!!! Pls!
Thank you! I have oily skin and loove your reviews and tips. Very appreciated!
