Also, as a survivor of domestic violence.. I really appreciate your visceral reaction to Violet’s Tale. We should be disgusted by such behaviour. And I’m glad that Ren brings awareness of the cycles of generational abuse.

RENegade here. Wonderful reaction. Welcome to the rabbit hole. Your gonna love Rens new Rap album (Sick boi) It’s fire! Ren is 33 btw and is kinda fond of one takes and performing live. He makes all the beats/beatboxes, plays multiple instruments and is completely independent. I can go on and on but it’s so much fun watching people discover the awesome that is Ren. ❤🐷🐇🥔
Yes they are separate songs. Jenny's tale came from a newspaper article Ren had read. Screech and Violet were added later. Violets Tale was about a year after the 1st two. I remember waiting for them when they were released.
A fan of wordsmithery? Are you ever in for a treat... actually scores of treats. For lyrical genius, for me Ren scores 3rd after Shakespeare and Sondheim. Overpraise? You'll see. (By the way, this is one of the best J&S reactions I've seen and I've seen dozens. Keep up the great work!)
Each of the three sections are live one take videos. A common style with Ren. Ren is 33 currently, been battling with the health stuff since he was about 17.
Another Domestic Violence survivor here, 61 years old now and run a 911 center. Ren's music touches me so much, I've been at my job long enough to see generational violence play out and in some cases 3rd generation. Ren writes about so many, normally taboo topics, that need to be thought about and talked about. Even in Hi Ren I connected so much of his lyrics to some of our mentally ill callers. If you want to know more about the man, I would suggest listening to his 1 million RUclips subscribers video. He has a special soul. ❤
Hey thank you for commenting and watching. It seems Ren touches those with traumatic experiences in a very real way. I can certainly relate to him on a very human level that's for sure. Also roger that. I'll check it out.
Ten recorded these live in a one take. You are hearing him playing and singing for real. He does some post editing, but it is really him playing and singing, he has a lapel mic on. Welcome to the rabbit hole. Hope you enjoy the ride!!
Please, if you doing 'Money Game' then do them in order 1, 2 then 3. There is imagery, lyrics and musical aspect that are exhibite in the 3rd that need to be realized and experienced in the first 2 parts. Thank you for this reaction.
Always gives me a vicarious sense of glory when reactors put the subs I transcribed for Ren on. Tis the small things 🤣 Also i really need to stop saying that on every video I see it on, it's kind of pathetic lol. But F it. Ren is a genius, and I enjoyed your reaction.
Yes, that is what a one take is. Some songs took 3 takes, some over 130 takes to get it right. He chooses his surroundings very carefully to make use of the natural acoustics. He has a mike on his shirt in these one take songs. Bit of adjustment editing done after, ie the seagulls are more noticeable. Ren can't be put in any box or pigeon holed into any particular genre of music. He seamlessly moves from one to the other, within one song and from one song to the next. He keeps us all guessing, and opens the discussion on many hard to discuss subjects. It is up to us to continue that discourse and find solutions. Ren encourages people from all over to collaborate for the good of mankind. A worthy, and noble, (if not hopeless) ideal, which would not hurt us all to applaud and attempt to engage in.
I'm somehow even more impressed than I was before with Ren. Thank you for going into some detail here and the comment. Really starting to admire this man🙏🙏🙏
One of the best examples of Ren encouraging collaboration to help solve world problems is a treasure hunt game he developed with friends as a leadup to the release of his song Money Game 3 and his album, Sick Boi. The game's clues were so complex and wide-ranging--across the whole internet--that it required collaboration between all of the players. We discussed the clues with each other in chat rooms, did Google searches for historical and artistic references, consulted people who were familiar with different coding languages, etc., etc. It was nothing short of mind-blowing! And it was a great exercise in the power of cooperation. Yup, Ren is one smart cookie! 😂
The Tales also hit me hard the first time I heard them--and they still do, several months later. I came from a Screech-like background, grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, struggled quite a bit throughout my life. Ren perfectly captured the sense of hopelessness and the cycle of violence and abuse passed down from generation to generation. For me the central theme of this trilogy is the statement he makes at the base of the spiral staircase: "History repeats itself." It's been one of my life goals to put an end to the cycle by facing my own inner demons and dealing with them through therapy and self-therapy. Ren's song--and his work in general--have had a very cathartic and therapeutic effect on me. Excellent, heartfelt reaction. Subbed!
if it doesn't hit you hard I'd say you're probably a robot tbh. He definitely speaks to me personally. I can tell he's been through a lot and has overcome a lot and continuing to do so. It's all we can really do in my opinion. Thank you for the sub! 🙏😊
❤Fantastic reaction thank you go treat yourself to RENs song Power❤Ren really has it all a true genius of Bardcore❤He plays his instruments, fantastic lyricist, awesome bars and switch ups, master of the one take live recording, absolutely kind and considerate human being❤A RENegade for life❤Blessed Be.❤
You will have to get used to being speechless and emotionally drained after reacting to Ren, the tales are a masterpiece that need to be studied in colleges and universities, I’ve done a break down of all the main characters with my theories about how they are all connected on my YT
He has a mike on his lapel...he is 33, writes, produces, makes his beats, sings, raps, plays multiple instruments (self taught)...did go to school foe musical theater
An absolute masterpiece! If it's lyrical genius you're looking for, you'll find it in Ren. From his lighter, funnier tracks to the emotionally devastating ones, his penmanship and word play are brilliant! 🌟🦇🌟🦇🌟
hello, dear! i really enjoyed your reaction!! please disregard any renegade karens, they're probably off their meds and should know better. it takes time to get everything running the way you want and you got what it takes!!! kathleen bts renegade
It’s a powerful and uncomfortable story about the horrors of generational violence. Ren feels uncomfortable too…watch the beginning of Violet’s tale again…after he gets up off the bed, he has to put on his Minstrel’s mask so he can get through the story. He had mentioned that telling these stories takes something out of him too. Violet’s tale could be so offensive to survivors of domestic violence, but it’s not. I’ve watched 100+ reactions and have yet to see anyone, including survivors of DV take issue with it. He’s trying to wake us up to the true horror of these cycles of violence so we don’t just shrug it off and move on. Subscribed. You’ll sort your audio for sure. Always enjoy when a new reactor falls down the rabbit hole.
Absolutely. For me if it’s reality or reflective of reality I can’t be offended by it. Life itself is brutal and offensive you know. Either way thank you for joining the journey… plenty more to come 😄
Ren directs most of his own videos. Virtually all of his live videos are recorded live, in a single take, no cuts. All 3 videos in this trilogy were recorded in this manner. You also seemed surprised that he was playing the guitar, for some reason. Ren plays about a dozen instruments well. Half of them RIDICULOUSLY well! All self-taught! He's a top class producer and lays down all his own music/beats/audio. He raps oike a rap god, scats and beatboxes brilliantly. His vocals are incredible! Capable of multiple voices, styles and tones! His songwriting is world-class! Especially his lyricism. He's a poet really and a bloody good poet at that! His performance skills are first class too. His stage presence is palpable and he oozes charisma. He does every genre and does them all brilliantly What's more, he does all this whilst suffering from 2 extremely debilitating, chronic illnesses and a whole host of associated conditions and illnesses. He has brain damage, extensive nerve damage, damage to his bones, joints and internal organs and is in near constant pain. At one point he waswas bedridden and in constant, unrelenting chronic pain, for 7 years! He's spent the last year, away from home, in a clinic in Canada, undergoing experimental medical treatments, in an attempt to repair some of the damage to his body and brain. His severe autoimmunity has made him highly allergic to virtually all food, meaning that he has pretty much the exact same, very particular meal, every single mealtime. He has days where he can't function at all. All of this has meant that he hasn't been unable to tour, or promote himself, yet somehow his latest album entered the UK charts at number one! Knocking Drake off the top spot! :) Even more impressive, is the fact that he's fully independent! No label, no financial backing, no PR machine, no management. Just sheer talent! Every label under the Sun has tried to sign Ren. He's turned them all down. With Ren it really is all about the music! Add his strong character, beautiful personality, high intelligence, wisdom beyond his years, a down to Earth and self-deprecating attitude and a wicked sense of humour, to his plethora of incredible musical talents and you soon realise that he's got it all! A unique artist! A musical genius! A once in a generation talent! :)
Holy shit indeed! Ren does tend to render folks speechless occasionally. Loved your reaction despite the sound issues. Subbed to enjoy the Ren journey with you.
Holy Shit! The very reaction I had after watching these tales. 65-year-old RENegade from New Zealand here. I listen to everything Ren. He's amazing. I love watching REN reactions. I must have watched hundreds and every single one of the reactors has been blown away. Enjoy the ride. It gets rough at times but it's well worth it.
Ren grew up in North Wales on Anglesey, spent a lot of time in festivals with his parents. Started off making beats, but had no one to rap or sing, so learnt to do it himself. Learnt gui5ar by slowing down youtube videos of people like Hendrix to watch their hands. Only had a couple of lessons. He was signed to a producer working for Sony and was recording an Album with his band Trick The Fox, when I'll health forced him to stop. He had undiagnosed Lyme Disease and that and the wrong medication left him bedridden most of the heat 6 ir 7 years. Treatments let him re emerge in his late 20s. The range of his work is phenomenal.
Some takeaways on this trilogy, one theme is generational trauma. In Screech's tale, he opens with "the story it starts, just as it ends," then alludes back to Jenny's tale. But as he closes, he says, "the story it ends, just as it starts." To me, that encapsulates the cycle of violence. Violet, in her tale, comes to personify that very cycle. Instead of having to spell out that cycle, she lives it. Childhood sexual abuse leaves her vulnerable to sexual violence and domestic abusein the adult world. In violet you see, in her traumatized self silencing, the seeds of Jenny, who also freezes when cornered. Similarly, you can see in his grandfather (perhaps father?) and in Stevie, the seeds of Screech And we can't forget, in separating the twins and placing them in different homes, all the adults, and the state acting on behalf of those babies, all fail them miserably. The very circumstances that placed both 14 year olds in a London alley in "2 zero one nine" make obvious that those placements in those homes, and allowing them to stay there or not intervening before they became runaways, or even since they became runaways, that fault lays.with society itself. At 14, es a child of the streets, Screech is a predator surviving by mugging people. His sister, on the other hand, is surviving on sex work or survival sex, dragging her tired feet home in high heeled shoes. At age 14, the kind 9f home she is so desperate to return to, if only to sleep, that we are left only to imagine. Yet we know clearly, that if she wishes to escape, then surely, in at least one way, she feels trapped. We are tempted while viewing to condemn Ren for acting out these brutal men as they terrorize women, but upon reflection we can't help but realize the social commentary he's performing. By the time he spits out his last "far from pretty," we realize he's crying out for a way to break this cycle that isn't as brutal as one member of the family line literally murdering and ending that family line. So, even as it seems to glorify violence, in the end it's holding a mirror to us, showing us the violence we create when we ignore social problems and allow them to fester. Sentencing so many, by accident of birth, to deep, structural poverty that must exist if we are to insisst that some be afforded great wealth, that seems to be the deepest cry out/call out to end the violence by targeting its root causes.
Despite the sound great reaction. Yes, each song is a one take, on location recording, so was Hi Ren. He does that a lot. Ren is 33, the first two parts were made in 2019, hence the 2005 in violets Tale, as Jenny and Screech were both 14 in 2019. The last part was made three years later.
Looks like you are a man of your word, so I will sub to watch more Ren. (Seven Sins), it is the first song off his number 1 album (sick boi). It is a banger and has a mix if rap, hip hop, dub step and singing.
Yeah, his dark stuff makes you think and give you emotions. It sucks that things like this happens. Great reaction. I was a victim of physical abuse many times by school bullies and my ex step-dad.
YES- ALL DONE LIVE IN ONE TAKE! NO EDITING! He's mic'd up this is just Ren, the guitar & the Excellent Videographer! Also same for (Hi Ren, Money Game 3, not sure about the others) also, no need to pause (For copyright) in Ren's music. He respects & appreciates reactors. Also, just a tip or two, if you add 3 #hashtag words at the end of your title, then use the same exact title as the first thing in your description, adding those #'s. For reaction videos, I use #ren #reaction #titleofsong (Or you might want to use #nameofyourchannel) the first 3 are most important, it will help YT push out your video to more viewers. Another trick, See the slide button beside the CC button at the bottom of the screen? IT's Auto Play. if you slide it left, you won't get ads interrupting your videos! Good luck with your channel, feel free to reach out, if I can ever help..Free of course, we content creators have to help and support each other! You might also re-watch, you'll catch things you missed first time around. At the beginning of Violet's tale, when he said "To set the scene, we must rewind the hands of time for Violet's tale", then the guitar riff, is the sound of rewinding. Then after be beats Violet and before starting the beginning melody, he does a Fast Forward Riff. This guys is Genius, and one of the best storytellers I've ever heard. He shows you the story- you can picture it in your head! THAT is the Wonderment of Ren! Enjoy!
Hey thank you so much for the tip. I'll give that a shot and thank you for watching. Subscribed to ya. I'm thinking of doing a review of the song potentially. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
New Sub Brotha! Keep'em coming. I will watch. I can't wait to see your reactions to his rap and hip hop bag of musical Kung Fu. You're going to get a bunch of requests. It doesn't matter which one you do, I'm going to watch them. They're all BANGERS. They're all wicked different. REN IS BARDCORE. Knowledge will be dropped by RENegades from all over the world. You have only scratched the very outer most surface of this once in a lifetime artist. The Hunger, Genesis, Wicked ways... The Man's music has changed me. I seriously mean it. I am a completely different man than I was a year ago. Have fun during your RENaissance!
hey thank you so much for that. I'm really amazed at his versatility and ability to story tell and not sacrifice complex rhyme schemes whatsoever. I can't wait to keep checking out more of his stuff... THANK YOU 🙏🙏🙏
As shocking as it is, this Trilogy is a work of art! Ren is such a talented artist and all of his songs are just that good! Welcome to the rabbit hole🎉😊
If you're a hip hop fan, check out What you Want, Power, Losing it, and definately Murderer. They're fun and really good vibes and shows off his beats. He's 33, they are one take, sometimes it takes many many tries to get it right, he does edit the audio for volume and such so that it is consistent but that's his live performance. He does rap, and he had a band as well, The Big Push. And a lot of his music is dark, but sparks conversation and people to start thinking and I think that's the purpose.
I have watched your Akala reaction first time i have sern a reactor doing his interview with Piers Morgan , big up yourself nuff respect and one love bro.
Yes , he’s the king of the one take. He literally did Hi Ren as a one take video. So a true performance. This was also done in the same manner. He’s miked up and playing a performance.
The writing genius is that he gets you so emotionally engaged that you’re only listening for the next word, not puting all the pieces together. 13 min, thousands of words and the LAST freaking 2 blow it up.
Ren's latest album (rap) recently went straight to number 1 in the UK with no gigs, signings or promotions he raps, sings, plays multiple instruments and produces all his own stuff he's a generational talent with a massive catalogue
Sorry you had problems with your audio, it's OK, shite happens, Great reaction of being awestruck at the end as most are, it's always interesting to witness peoples reaction. As for Rens age, if not mistaken this was done about 2 years ago and hes now 32 or 33 smething like that. he looks younger than he is. also a great artist our world needs more than ever and we are so very lucky to be able to enjoy him.
That was so hard to listen to. Not experienced this personally but seen what happened to a girl I knew. All behind the closed doors of a respectable middle-class home. I still feel guilty that I didn't do anything but her dad scared me shitless and made no bones about what would happen to any of us that said anything. I know it was cowardly. But we were kids (11ish) and thought no-one would believe us and then she would get it worse and he would get us somehow, when no-one else was around, too. You can all say you would be brave but it was a very different world in the late 70s/early 80s. There was no "always believe the victim" culture, it was the opposite. You'd get shit from your folks for lying. It would get round the neighbourhood and suddenly your friends all say, "sorry but my dad says I can't hang out with you anymore". Not to me, but I saw that happen. And in those days, you did what you dad told you or else. Even good dad's would give a naughty kid a slap, or put you over his knee, which did happen to me. You gotta understand, there was no badness when my dad did that. He genuinely thought it was for my own good further down the line. Tough love, but real love. It wasn't so well intentioned in every home. Even other parents might give you a clip round the ear if you were naughty. So yeah, cowardly but cut me some slack and it has really haunted me over the years, especially in my darker moments. I often wonder what happened to her. I so hope she made it good but the signs even then were not good. And yes, I know it still goes on now, so much love to anyone who has to deal with that but now at least there is a support network however hard to may be to reach. So yeah, very very hard to listen to.
Hey man I'm right there with you.... HARD to listen to. More often than not a lot of people don't reach out when it's happening to them. It's a huge mental hurdle to get over. There's definitely a lot of societal changes that I don't think are good but thank you for watching man. It's in the past and you have to move on at some point brother. LOVE 🙏🙏
Great reaction. Definitely could see it was heart felt.i believe you would really like his song Genesis official video and acoustic version. Also his songurderer, official video and acoustic. They are amazing.
Yes mate, don’t know how I’ve missed your channel, enjoyed the Ren reactions and the thing with Violet’s tale is it doesn’t give you a moment to gather your thoughts as it gets darker and darker, checked you previous reactions when you said about lyricists and you’ve done some belters, you need to check Ghetts, he’s up there with the best in the UK
Take a parachute 🪂 for this genre bend rabbit hole with the Renegade community supporting your channel all the way may friend. Peace and love from Australia
Hey baby RENegade..hope you're enjoying the the RENroLLerCOasTer, a wild ride down the rabbit hole, and into the RENiverse! Welcome to the RENaissance, next time I'll key 'ya into some lore..maybe I'll start with an introduction to a soon-to-be familiar face (well..mask) in 'The Tale of Pigbae', lol. Subscribed. ×͜× જ⁀➴ -ˋˏ🌈ᥫ᭡
Really excellent reaction, and it’s great to see someone blown away by the ending. It is a horrible story, but Ren tells it so well that you have to keep going to the end. Oh, and I barely noticed the distorted sound because your reaction was so interesting. 😊
“ I had things to say and now they’re gone “ ….. the first indication of a full breed Renagade! Welcome to the family! New subscriber here and much love from Boston!
@@notrashtolerated this video is how I even discovered that reactor channels existed… watching the emotional reaction of other people to art that my body literally had a physical transition of goosebumps paired with the deer in the headlights, state of shock freeze, from cognitive overload. Once I watched the very first reactor of Hi Ren I made it through all of them in a month….. it healed me dude … music is so powerful
New sub here from Arizona, I'm here for any and all Ren reactions. As a 53 year old music lover my whole life, Ren has reconfigured my mind for the better and REN-EWED my heart & soul by making me really hear music for the 1st time in my life! Great reaction! 😊 what an amazing journey awaits you!
hey thank you so much for that. I'll keep em' coming... I'm in CO myself. Born and bred Wisconsinite however. Either way... he's doing the same for me. I appreciate your commenting 🙏🙏🙏
If I had a nickel for every time I heard a RUclips reactor say “ I don’t know how to explain it” or” “ I don’t know the word(s) to explain how I feel “ I would have already made it onto the cover of Forbes Magazine
He is 33 years old. Great reaction. Ren is amazingly talented. I just found you earlier today and I’m going through your reactions hopefully in order that you discovered his works.. The best part about him is how versatile he is. He is a genre bender!
Amazing reaction 😊. If you watch the reaction by @HeartSupport of this trilogy, she talks about how the only language Screech knew was violence and aggression. It wasn't necessarily about what he'd smoked. It was the only way he knew how to communicate when things got tough for him. He was only 14.
"Remember in 2023 when this guy called Ren made the entire internet talk about domestic violence and the trauma that can travel through time and space and affect, infect, effect several generations?" Thank you for letting us in to watch when you get gut punched by reality. It's brave. Bravo. (You've earned me subscribing, haha! Unclear if it's a curse or a blessing to have me on your team tho...) All the lyrics in the 3 pieces are picked up by his mic up by his collarbone just as in Hi Ren. The camera picks up sound too, and his guitar is plugged in if you watch closely. If there was a Nobel-prize for one take-music videos Ren and his camera holding friend Sam (not the singing Sam, another one) would win every year. And now it's time for you to get into the Money Game-trilogy. Yep. You're ready. Much love 🖤 From STHLM, Sweden Oh, and PS: in Europe ganja is most commonly hasch and not weed. I've tried every drug that's out there, and nothing scares me more than hasch. The first time I smoked it I was a 13 or 14 years old, not even 50 kgs (yeah, we do it the metric way here😸), girl and I managed to ruined an entire bathroom in some kinda paranoid rage. I've been paranoid on a/because of a lot of different drugs, but with this goo it's like I'm aware I'm fucked up and can't do anything about it, so I'd say ganja can fuck you up alright....
Hey thank you so much for the comment, the background, and watching. That lends new light to when he said ganja. Over here the ganja pretty much knocks you on your ass unless you got it from a dealer and they sprinkled something on it. That sounds scary. Love from the States 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wow... and dumbfounded are the appropriate responses! 😉 Subscribed. Based on your observations on structure & lyricism... I can hardly wait for you to get into Ren's rap. Btw... before Ren... I couldn't find a reason to listen to, much less appreciate, rap [my loss]... but now I'm hooked. The Hunger is a good starting place, perhaps... but hold onto your hat as you go down the Ren rabbit hole. Too many great options, so just jump in... and enjoy the ride! For options that are less rap... check out Chalk Outlines & How to Be Me... and his busking videos with The Big Push... to start.
"He's not recording the audio as he's filming the videos is he?" Why yes, yes he is. Ren kind of has two categories of music videos... this, Hi Ren, Chalk Outlines, Money Game, and some of his other "Bardcore" stuff he generally records live on camera in one shot. Multiple takes, but only one used in the end. For example, Hi Ren took 3 takes, where Money Game Pt. 1 reportedly took 180 takes. Then videos like Murderer, Illest Of Our Time, The Hunger, Sick Boi, Animal Flow, are fully produced studio audio. He still often does one-shot music videos (usually, I'd say), but they're more traditionally done, lip-syncing to himself for the recordings. He's excellent at both, but they're very distinct from each other IMO.
I know his album (sick boi) hit number "1" in the UK charts, number "1" on itunes in the first week of release Oct 13. He was on the top 200 and 100 US Billboard charts and top 5 on the charts in a handful of other countries. I wasn't aware of any more but I could of easily missed some.
Great reaction again! Wait until you think about this.. Jenny was 14 too & walking in high heels late at night on a path she's walked 1000 times before?? And later, with Patrick not being home and Screech's girl was 'busy' at the same time??
Check out Ren's band, The Big Push, specifically their live cover video: I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop... Also, check out his LIVE duo videos with Chinchilla: Chalk Outlines and How Ti Be Me... Enjoy! 😊
don't forget to subscribe for more Ren Reactions!
Yes, you called it. Ren wears a mic on his shirt and what you hear is what he performs.
Wow…..
Precisely
I AM SO SORRY FOR THE SOUND YOU GUYS IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.... I HOPE YOU CAN STILL ENJOY THE WHOLE THING.......🙏🙏🙏
Don’t stress. I can still see and hear your reaction just fine. It’s a blip in the road. We won’t give up on you that easily. ❤️
Not too worry. I think you have a lot to say about Ren. We’ll be back!
Gotta love technology, huh?
Don't stress. Came across honest, and that ain't always pretty. Fits the source material.
Don't worry, I think we have all heard much much worse before 😂💜💜
Also, as a survivor of domestic violence.. I really appreciate your visceral reaction to Violet’s Tale. We should be disgusted by such behaviour. And I’m glad that Ren brings awareness of the cycles of generational abuse.
❤🩹❤❤
Hey thanks I couldn't help but cringe. It was hard to get through as it should be... ALWAYS KEEP MOVING FORWARD ❤❤❤

Yes they are separate songs. Jenny's tale came from a newspaper article Ren had read. Screech and Violet were added later. Violets Tale was about a year after the 1st two. I remember waiting for them when they were released.
Wow…..
Interesting……. We’ll see 😀
Each of the three sections are live one take videos. A common style with Ren.
Ren is 33 currently, been battling with the health stuff since he was about 17.
Pretty remarkable to me
Another Domestic Violence survivor here, 61 years old now and run a 911 center. ❤
Big love to you from another survivor. ❤❤❤
*Ren*
Yeah.... wow.
Please, if you doing 'Money Game' then do them in order 1, 2 then 3. There is imagery, lyrics and musical aspect that are exhibite in the 3rd that need to be realized and experienced in the first 2 parts. Thank you for this reaction.
Roger rhat. I appreciate the heads up on it. Just did part 1
Oh, he can rap. "The Hunger" he goes off. Check that one out.
Everyone keeps saying the hunger… it must be true
Always gives me a vicarious sense of glory when reactors put the subs I transcribed for Ren on. Tis the small things 🤣 Also i really need to stop saying that on every video I see it on, it's kind of pathetic lol. But F it. Ren is a genius, and I enjoyed your reaction.
Heyyy… again…. The secret organizer 😃
❤Fantastic reaction thank you go treat yourself to RENs song Power❤Ren really has it all a true genius of Bardcore❤He plays his instruments, fantastic lyricist, awesome bars and switch ups, master of the one take live recording, absolutely kind and considerate human being❤A RENegade for life❤Blessed Be.❤
Hey thank you consider it added to the list 😊
You will have to get used to being speechless and emotionally drained after reacting to Ren, the tales are a masterpiece that need to be studied in colleges and universities, I’ve done a break down of all the main characters with my theories about how they are all connected on my YT
Interesting. Also yes. He certainly get my brain going that’s for sure
He has a mike on his lapel...he is 33, writes, produces, makes his beats, sings, raps, plays multiple instruments (self taught)...did go to school foe musical theater
Remarkable
An absolute masterpiece!
If it's lyrical genius you're looking for, you'll find it in Ren. From his lighter, funnier tracks to the emotionally devastating ones, his penmanship and word play are brilliant! 🌟🦇🌟🦇🌟
I’m certainly starting to get a sense of that 😀
Yep! WOW, Says it best!!!
Seriously. I was almost speechless…
hello, dear! i really enjoyed your reaction!! please disregard any renegade karens, they're probably off their meds and should know better. it takes time to get everything running the way you want and you got what it takes!!! kathleen bts renegade
Haha thanks so much. I appreciate that. Im a young guy but an old soul ❤️
He does every genre and does them all brilliantly
What's more, he does all this whilst suffering from 2 extremely debilitating, chronic illnesses and a whole host of associated conditions and illnesses. :)
Even more impressive, is the fact that he's fully independent! :)
Yeah.... I'm only just getting into his discography but it seems this man could end up being mentioned with legendary names
Holy shit indeed! Ren does tend to render folks speechless occasionally. Loved your reaction despite the sound issues. Subbed to enjoy the Ren journey with you.
Hey thanks for subbing. Plenty more Ren to come 🙏😃😃😃
😀😃really glad you enjoyed it 😄
If you like rap listen to the hunger
Roger that
Love Ren
Likewise 😀
Wow that’s absolutely insane
Similarly, you can see in his grandfather (perhaps father?) and in Stevie, the seeds of Screech
And we can't forget, in separating the twins and placing them in different homes, all the adults, and the state acting on behalf of those babies, all fail them miserably.
Absolutely beautifully put.
The way somebody reacts to this trilogy says an awful lot about what kind of person they are or perhaps they want to be. Subbed. Thank you.
Absolutely
This has to be the most detailed and well written comment I’ve seen so far on my channel. No offense to others but damn…. Pinning
@@notrashtoleratedone of the best I've seen on any channel, honestly 😅
Welcome to Bardcore.
Great to be here
Despite the sound great reaction. Yes, each song is a one take, on location recording, so was Hi Ren. He does that a lot. Ren is 33, the first two parts were made in 2019, hence the 2005 in violets Tale, as Jenny and Screech were both 14 in 2019. The last part was made three years later.
Wow…. Yeah thank you for watching 😌
It is live, one take/shot...they had to practice ....a lot...and still had someone scream at him to shut up because it was very late
Wow…. Impressive
Welcome to the journey Ren is one of a kind ,great reaction btw check out love music 1,2,3,4 I think part 3 is my favourite 👍
Roger
It's a recorded live one take all three parts. Most talented person in music
Yeah that’s even crazier
Looks like you are a man of your word, so I will sub to watch more Ren. (Seven Sins), it is the first song off his number 1 album (sick boi). It is a banger and has a mix if rap, hip hop, dub step and singing.
Thank you much for showing support.. I try to be. I'll have more Ren coming at some point this week... LOVE 🙏🙏🙏
A sub for REN.
Roger that
I enjoyed your reaction to this Masterpiece, even with the sound difficulties. Your reaction at the end was priceless! Good job!
❤❤❤❤agreed 😊
Hey thank you so much for that 🙏
More coming soon
For some hip hop that still has depth.. I’d suggest Seven Sins. But I’m sure you got a tonne of suggestions already from your last vid!
😄
dont worry about the sound mate. we've all heard this song a million times already. good luck with editing and sound next time :) good reaction xx
Roger that thank you for still watching 😃
Yeah, his dark stuff makes you think and give you emotions. It sucks that things like this happens. Great reaction. I was a victim of physical abuse many times by school bullies and my ex step-dad.
It happens to the best of us… power on friend, power on.
Ren was born in 1990, so he's 33.
Subbed mate. Nice reaction. More Ren!
Hey appreciate that 🙏 more to come!
Thank you for being honest and humble..... fantastic. Respect.
Hey thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Wickerd ways, power, what you want, life is funny, & murderer of you want rap by him.
Roger 😃
Yes!!!! He is really performing these videos live!!!
Once again thank you so much. I really like your channel 😊😊
@@notrashtolerated Happy to help! Thanks for subbing! ALL Ren is GOOD Ren! Cheers!
Roger that!
Yep, WOW. Great reaction
Thank you 😃
New Sub Brotha!
THANK YOU 🙏🙏🙏
Definitely ready for you . Please thanx ❤👍
Absolutely
Roger that. Added to the list and looking forward to them. I think I'll be doing some reactions this weekend... 😊 Thanks for watching
If you want to get a good picture of who Ren is, react to or just check out his One Million Subscribers - Defining Success video. ✌🏻💜
Will do :)
I have watched your Akala reaction first time i have sern a reactor doing his interview with Piers Morgan , big up yourself nuff respect and one love bro.
Appreciate that. I’m open to reacting to it all you know?
Yes , he’s the king of the one take. He literally did Hi Ren as a one take video. So a true performance. This was also done in the same manner. He’s miked up and playing a performance.
yeah... that's insane
Yessss. Here for it. ❤❤❤
I'm glad... so sorry for the sound
The writing genius is that he gets you so emotionally engaged that you’re only listening for the next word, not puting all the pieces together. 13 min, thousands of words and the LAST freaking 2 blow it up.
Indeed 😀😀😀
All one take live videos my friend. It's unreal and this is only the begining lol welcome to the rabbit hole.
Incredible….
Great reaction to an epic trilogy
Thank you!
Ren's latest album (rap) recently went straight to number 1 in the UK with no gigs, signings or promotions he raps, sings, plays multiple instruments and produces all his own stuff he's a generational talent with a massive catalogue
Incredibly talented indeed….
Ren turned 33 in March
Hey thank you for the background on that. He looks like he's 20!
Sorry you had problems with your audio, it's OK, shite happens, Great reaction of being awestruck at the end as most are, it's always interesting to witness peoples reaction. As for Rens age, if not mistaken this was done about 2 years ago and hes now 32 or 33 smething like that. he looks younger than he is. also a great artist our world needs more than ever and we are so very lucky to be able to enjoy him.
he looks very young for certain! audio fixed...
LOVE 🙏🙏
Awesome reaction...can't wait for the next one....try The Hunger, and Animal Flow (music video and the live version)
Roger that 😊
Ren❤❤❤
Mhmmm
Yes all 3 Tales were one takes. And Ren is 33.
Great reaction. Definitely could see it was heart felt.i believe you would really like his song Genesis official video and acoustic version. Also his songurderer, official video and acoustic. They are amazing.
Roger that... thank you so much for the suggestions 🙏🙏
Hey thank you for that and roger that. Ghetts is added to the list 🙏🙏
Take a parachute 🪂 for this genre bend rabbit hole with the Renegade community supporting your channel all the way may friend. Peace and love from Australia
Hey appreciate that. Peace and love from the States 🙏🙏🙏

Hey baby RENegade..hope you're enjoying the the RENroLLerCOasTer, a wild ride down the rabbit hole, and into the RENiverse! Hahaha thanks for that. I’ll be enjoying this ride for certain 😃
Really excellent reaction, and it’s great to see someone blown away by the ending. It is a horrible story, but Ren tells it so well that you have to keep going to the end. Oh, and I barely noticed the distorted sound because your reaction was so interesting. 😊
hey thanks so much for that. I really appreciated you watching and leaving a comment 😊
“ I had things to say and now they’re gone “ ….. the first indication of a full breed Renagade! Welcome to the family! New subscriber here and much love from Boston!
haha thank you so much. He blew me away with this one....
@@notrashtolerated this video is how I even discovered that reactor channels existed… watching the emotional reaction of other people to art that my body literally had a physical transition of goosebumps paired with the deer in the headlights, state of shock freeze, from cognitive overload. Once I watched the very first reactor of Hi Ren I made it through all of them in a month….. it healed me dude … music is so powerful
it damn sure is. I've been listening to it since this reaction
I absolutely can't wait to see literally every other video of friends with you I know you're probably gonna like almost every single one of them
New sub here from Arizona, I'm here for any and all Ren reactions.
Ren can really paint a picture - he never misses. Great reaction 💛
absolutely and thank you 😊
If I had a nickel for every time I heard a RUclips reactor say “ I don’t know how to explain it” or” “ I don’t know the word(s) to explain how I feel “ I would have already made it onto the cover of Forbes Magazine
hahahahhaha
He is 33 years old. Great reaction. Ren is amazingly talented. I just found you earlier today and I’m going through your reactions hopefully in order that you discovered his works.. The best part about him is how versatile he is. He is a genre bender!
definition of genre bender for certain
Amazing reaction 😊. If you watch the reaction by @HeartSupport of this trilogy, she talks about how the only language Screech knew was violence and aggression. It wasn't necessarily about what he'd smoked. It was the only way he knew how to communicate when things got tough for him. He was only 14.
Interesting I might check that out thanks for watching!
The fact he'd been smoking has no more relevance than if he'd had a drink or a cookie. The rage was here regardless
Yeah absolutely. I was more trying to be comedic about it than as a legitimate critique
Jenny had her mother’s mannerisms and screech (James) took after his father.
Sure did…..
"Remember in 2023 when this guy called Ren made the entire internet talk about domestic violence and the trauma that can travel through time and space and affect, infect, effect several generations?"
Thank you for letting us in to watch when you get gut punched by reality. It's brave. Bravo.
(You've earned me subscribing, haha! Unclear if it's a curse or a blessing to have me on your team tho...)
All the lyrics in the 3 pieces are picked up by his mic up by his collarbone just as in Hi Ren.
Much love 🖤
From STHLM, Sweden
Oh, and PS: in Europe ganja is most commonly hasch and not weed.
Great reaction, emotional song, good job on this, see you on the next one 🙏🦉❤️🐊👍
Hey thanks so much 🙏
Months later still going WWOW
Yeahhh....
Total classic reaction to this masterpiece! LOL
Haha thank you 🙏
LESSS GOOO
at the start of Jenny tale Ren was beatboxing trumpet
I was wondering. It sounds exactly like that
Wow... and dumbfounded are the appropriate responses! For options that are less rap... check out Chalk Outlines & How to Be Me... and his busking videos with The Big Push... to start.
Hey thanks so much for that. I can definitely tell he’s talented. Remarkable innate ability. Anyway glad to have you around for the ride 😌
He's excellent at both, but they're very distinct from each other IMO.
yeah... certainly remarkable
You know his new album just debuted #1 on the US Hip Hop R&B chart right ?
I know his album (sick boi) hit number "1" in the UK charts, number "1" on itunes in the first week of release Oct 13. He was on the top 200 and 100 US Billboard charts and top 5 on the charts in a handful of other countries. I wasn't aware of any more but I could of easily missed some.
Didn’t know that until people started commenting tbh. That’s pretty remarkable
Great reaction again! Wait until you think about this.. Jenny was 14 too & walking in high heels late at night on a path she's walked 1000 times before?? And later, with Patrick not being home and Screech's girl was 'busy' at the same time??
hmmmmmmm. Yeah that's no good brother 🙏
Such a shame about the sound issues, great reaction. Loved the lol at the little prick line 😂
Haha thank you 😀😀
Yes. You got it. Most of these are live recordings, often one takes.
Loved your reaction
hey thanks so much 😊
Check out Ren's band, The Big Push, specifically their live cover video: I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop... Also, check out his LIVE duo videos with Chinchilla: Chalk Outlines and How Ti Be Me... Enjoy! 😊
Consider it all added 😃
Great , real reaction .
Thanks so much for that!!
I thought the sound was comical, it sounded like the drive-thru speaker at Burger King😮
Hahahahha yep. Pretty accurate
You know I want to get into money game but it takes me a month to process each of his songs. Chewing on it like a good boo
Hahah yeahhh. Same here
