A short video about chasing striped bass in the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia. it features beautiful scenery as I get chased in by the tide and land a few fish.
Thanks for the vid. Trying to learn more about fish here in N.S. i hear the fishing in the bay of Fundy is really good. If it is I may have to take a trip there. I'm in eastern shore.
Hey David, I've only fished them in Nova Scotia so not much good to you on the advice. You certainly can eat them. They are my favorite white fish even above halibut. Best of luck.
@@streamsidestories8876 They have sportfishing charters from St Andrews, that will be a great way for me to get introduced to saltwater fishing. I will need to have a striped bass dinner while I am there.
@@streamsidestories8876 Thanks, I just moved out to NS & want to take my son fishing for Stripers. Tried lures, but no luck so far. Great looking video, btw.
@@streamsidestories8876 lol... nice vid. New to the province and researching them now. I kayak fish but never for this species. Plan to go off shore a few hundred meters and try and find some. Looks like they go up the Shubie river. Do they go up this Walton river as well.
@@kenp4464 They do but I'm not sure how far. If you plan on kayaking in the bay you definitely should touch base with some experienced boaters who fish the area. The tide there is not something to be underestimated. Best of luck.

Jewel Nickerson best part about living in NS is no matter where you’re going it’ll only take half the day to get there
Fuck the eastern shore
Great vid !
Nice stripers bud, if you are ever looking for them on the Island I can point you in a few directions!
Pretty sure I fished that exact spot last year
Can you please tell me exact location where is that
Near whale creek according to the comment above yours
What part of the bay do you fish? I’ve always tried fishing the tide on the way up by whale creek but only ever got the odd smaller one I could t keep
Hey. I'm right in that area and doing the same as you. It's a great spot. Put a bit more time in and it'll pay off.
Bro I went out for 15 1/2 hours yesterday...not a damn bite hahha
I am going to NB at the end of August. Any advice on fishing from shore around St Andrews would be appreciated. Can you eat striped bass?

Is that burnt head park
Is that mackerel that you're using as bait?
Yes it is. It's my go to for bass. Just make sure they're of legal size.
