I don't think i could ever watch a documentary about a pop singer better than "Miley: The Movement" (2013), I've seen three times!
"You're always going to make people talk. You might as well just make them talk for 2 weeks than 2 seconds" Oh god, I love her. Miley is who she is and we just gotta accept her. Everyone's different and specific expectations of society are a burden on celebs. She's got an amazing voice! And her talent will always remain in her despite her personality and behaviour evolving.
I know I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this but: Miley Cyrus is actually a huge inspiration because she is so true to herself and really expresses who she is and I think that is inspirational because these days it seems that there are a lot of fakes in this world. I'm just happy that she is happy with who she is as a person.
She seriously amazing. She may not seem like it but she's inspirational. She makes me want to go out and do what I want to do, not what society wants me to do. I idolize her, not for her twerking or her behaviour but her motives behind her movement.
In what way does she affect your life? It really doesn't matter how you feel about her. Whether you wanna bash her or idolize her it really isn't going to change her in any way. Just let her be, Hating will take you no where.

I am not hating her, but I am scared of what it will do to girls seeing her as an idol. Cause they shall be what they want to be, but she delivers more that this messages. She shows, that drugs, loosing control, sex at any age is a thing she and therefore her fans reach for and that is what makes me angry. That she has a responsibilty and she is not taking it seriously and therefore I think that critising her is a good thing...
Schokopudding I don't believe anyone should take responsibility for kids other than their parents and guardians. There are a lot of bad influences in the world and Miley is only an insignificantly small part of them. Teach your children right from wrong and don't blame others for their actions. If you believe Miley is not someone to look up to, teach your children not to idolize her and show them what a good role model is.

Bangerz came out during my senior year of high school and it truly made me rethink of how I should consider the psyche of child stardom, femininity and sexuality. It's one of my favourite records of all time and I knew from the moment I saw We Can't Stop and the 2013 VMAS, Miley's career would go on for another 20 years. She quite literally set the world on fire, not just via the shock value she displaying but by expanding her versatility and creativity that she couldn't do whilst tied down as Disney's live action princess.
