Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. We sold our home in Socal and moved to Brasil for a few years so I was unable to attend. Really cool seeing all the amazing cars.
Ordinarily I find custom car show boring and uninspired... but this show is fabulous and I actually love about 98.5% of the cars shown. Custom car builders have really stepped up their craftsmanship!
I’ve seen some great DIY low buck builds over the years. You don’t need to be rich to have a cool car. The upper level show cars are very expensive to build though.
Thanks for this video. I was not able to make it this year but your walk through made me feel like I was there. I’ve been a car car all my life so I appreciate your narration , you know your stuff. Thanks
Great job, Mike. Nice to watch a vid made by a guy that knows what he's looking at. Excellent pace and narration. Just like being there and very much appreciated!
I agree wholeheartedly Mike. It’s great that you video these shows especially when you know your cars so well and you’re not rushing it. Up here in a little city east of Vancouver BC called Chilliwack, we don’t get very many indoor car shows, mostly just the ones outdoors where there are no trailer queens. We used to take our ‘31 Ford Special Delivery Woody Hot Rod to a lot of them, but my age and disability won’t let me do it anymore. Thanks a lot for your videos. Btw, I did watch the whole thing. I’ve seen that VW with the Buick engine on a couple of other videos running. Sounds just as impressive as it looks.

I began filming the video knowing there were folks all over the world who couldn't attend for one reason or another, which probably explains the length. It really is a great experience in person if you can make it over when things get better in the world. Take care.

The Saturday Night Joke Three guys were fishing on a lake one day, when Jesus walked across the water and joined them in the boat. When the three astonished men had settled down enough to speak, the first guy asked humbly, "Jesus, I've suffered from back pain ever since I took shrapnel in the Vietnam war...could you help me?" "Of course, my son", Jesus said, and when he touched the man's back, he felt relief for the first time in years. The second man, who wore very thick glasses and had a hard time reading and driving, asked if Jesus could do anything about his eyesight. Jesus smiled, removed the man's glasses and tossed them in the lake. When they hit the water, the man's eyes cleared and he could see everything distinctly. When Jesus turned to heal the last guy, the guy put his hands up and cried defensively, "Don't touch me! I'm on long term disability."
