glad you liked my recipe! it's my favorite. sorry I forgot to include details on cooking time and temp. but you got it! it's a thrown together recipe. make it your own. if you want it creamy add milk or water to soup. I use a mandolin to thin slice potatoes, cooks faster. your Canadian friend, Kim!
Kimmy, I always look forward to your videos. You and your family are awesome. I am also a stay at home mom. I found your channel back in June shortly after my father died very unexpectedly at the age of 46. You were a ray of sunshine when I needed it. Thanks!
Chelsea Alban So sorry about your dad Chelsea. I also lost my father very suddenly, He took a massive stroke in front of the family. Totally out of the blue. It is really hard, isn't it!! Kimmy has the ability to lift your spirits and cheer you up. She is just so natural. x
Sorry for your lose Chelsea. I'm a stay-at-home mom vlogger too. so fun to look back on. Children definitely have a way of brightening your spirits in the darkest of times. Stay strong! :)
Kimmy, I don't know how you do , all that you do! Watching this vlog I'm saying , wow , She never stops. I'm tired just watching you lol . Keep up the good work. Luv watching your vlogs. Your one of my favs!!!
It's so funny hearing you talk about the tons and tons of snow y'all get! Here in NC, theres talks of us getting like an inch and everyone is going crazy. LOL P.S. I ordered a mom on the go planner...and went to Michaels for some cute stickers. I'm hoping I get it fast in case we are "snowed in!"
I tried the casserole dish you made and my husband and I really liked it. I used leftover chicken and I added a layer of some dry seasoned stuffing mix on top. It browned real nice and gave the dish some crunch. I'm so glad you gave this dish a try so we could see it. Thankyou God bless
Hi Kimmy, this video popped up in my recommended this morning, I just enjoyed going back 7 years. I have always love watching all your videos. Love and Blessings, to all your family.❤🌹
Thanks for the tip with the dryer balls, the static thing, I didn't know that. I have 10 in my dryer, 4 like yours and 6 wooly balls. Love them, been using dryer balls for more than 10 years. So thanks for that tip. Have a good afternoon!!!
omgoooodness Kimmie, you constantly amaze me. Girlee, if I had to shovel snow I don't know what I'd do. That cold weather alone would paralyze me. You are AMAZING Kimmie! Sending New Year Blessings from TEXAS.
Variety is the spice of life! I always have a couple extra options when I meal plan just incase I'm not feeling what I have planned or life is to busy for what I have planned! I love that planner I am going to have to seriously consider getting it this year.
Wow I need some tips from your hubs on staying at 50 carbs daily. Gotta do it, don't know how. Plus how does he manage with all the delish food you set on the table? Plus I have the same planner, 3 years now, can't live without it! Interested to see what stickers you find.
I haven't used or seen dryer balls before-going to have to look into these. I just discovered your channel! I have a vlog channel too and am a fellow stay-at-home mom with a 2 year old. We just celebrated her 2nd birthday. :) Love finding other mom vloggers.
That is so awesome that you changed plans and made a subscriber's recipe! You are so sweet and so kind to your subscribers! Heck, you even subscribed to my channel! That absolutely made my day. Love your videos!
Hey Kimmie! I get 64 ounce jugs of cleaning vinegar from the Dollar Tree so a gallon or two jugs cost $2. It's usually hidden on a bottom shelf under all the other cleaning products. Just letting you know, in case you run out and don't want to spend $100 at Costco. Isn't it funny how you go to a store for 1 or 2 things and you end up with way more stuff. Personally, I just went to the grocery to pick up one item that was about $7, but I came out with almost $70 worth of groceries. Mistake number was the large cart I grabbed it of habit when I walked in.
I made the casserole tonight with chicken. My son is celiac and intolerant to all grain and soy. So I made the same recipe but just as a grain and soy free version (basically just made my own onion mix and my own cream of celery instead of the package and can). It was AWESOME! This one is going on the dinner rotation for sure. Thanks for sharing!
Love watching your videos. Especially when you are cooking. I have got lots a great ideas from you. Do you use vinegar instead of fabric softener? I use vinegar for mopping floor and it works great.
I LOVE bath and body works!!!! My favorite scents this year are pink cashmere and snowflakes and cashmere wow they smell good!!!! I am probably the only non vegan/vegetarian that hates turkey.I love your blogs Kimmy!!!!
I want to tell you I made the casserole but i used chicken I didn't have soup so I used 1 jar of cheese sauce from Ragu added about 1/2 cup milk to the cheese sauce it was fantastic! and I did cover it and because I live in the mountains at 7000 feet the potatoes took forever like 1 hour. Thank you to the person that gave you that recipe and thank you for sharing!!! Happy New year!
Very happy we don't have to deal with snow and ice anymore, we sold our snow shovel and ice scraper lol. Yummy dinner! Looks like a very productive day!
The Life of a Homemaker hi hun! This is a yr later but I’m in the middle of binge watching her channel & read ur comment and I JUST learned about wool dryer balls from Love Meg & I bought them but how many do u use at a time? It didn’t say as I bought them from Amazon...
We go through so many front door rugs. So went to our local carpet place and picked out a high traffic rug like walmart stores etc quality and they bounded it and it was like $100.00 for s 4ft by 5 ft and we love it.
My son loved this recipe, at first glance I didn't think it would be that good. I didn't have fresh or frozen peas so I had to use canned. But it was quite tasty. I'll be making this again for sure. Very easy.
Have you ever thought about having Derek to a vlog about smoking??? I know nothing about smoking but you guys make it look sooooo good!!! Thanks for sharing !
Morning Kimmy! I loved this vlog. Thanks for the dryer ball tip. Is there a particular brand you like? Boston had so much fun sleigh riding. The boys did a great job on the driveway. You said it's going to snow through Monday...geez, that's crazy! Lol, I'm going to Michaels today, I got a gift card for Christmas. Ok well, love you guys...stay warm and have a fantastic day!!!
We have that 3 tier lamp you saw at Costco in our living room. We love it! It looks great in our living room. The casserole looks yummy. I wonder if you could put green beans instead of peas and put fried onions on top. Love your videos!
Im making the casserole tonight. It's cooking now! But we used chicken and one tin of mushroom soup and one tin of chicken soup. I found the condensed soup spreads easier if you warm it slightly in a bowl first. Can't wait to try it!!
I love watching your videos! SO many great tips. I know you probably receive tons of Christmas cards, but I was wondering if you received mine. I never saw it on the vlogs where you were showing them. I hope it made it because i included an extra stamp and a crock pot recipe.
my favorite way to make popcorn is on the stovetop. Just put 1/4 c oil in a stock pot with a let it heat up then add 1/2 c kernels. move the pot back and forth while the kernels pop. just like the microwave, it is done when the popping slows down to one pop every few seconds. put it in a big bowl and season it how you like. (butter and salt) you can also add sugar to the kernels when you add them to the oil. I put a 1/4 cup of sugar for 1/2 cup of kernels and pop it like above. put in a bowl when done and add salt to taste. no butter. so yummy!
I have leftover turkey and ham in the freezer .. bet it would be good with either and add canned carrots (I LOVE le sueer peas) .. excited to try.. out little snow in KY looks like a sneeze to the snow you have lol ..but I'm enjoying taking short breaks and watching it!!
I ordered my Mom on the Go Planner using your code and cannot wait for it to arrive!! I am so excited!! I love watching your channel! Odd question but you always look so nice. How do you keep yourself looking so trim?
talk about snow our kids went back to school yesterday and today due to weather they are releasing early.. I was going to volunteer today at the local elementary school but not now kinda glad I have a bad hip and use a cane outside of the house and it doesn't do well with snow.
Great vlog! When you make dinner ahead of time, do you normally put it in the fridge and reheat it? I love that idea, if would probably save time in the evening.
I use left over chicken and shred it then make (in microwave) a box of stuffing. When stuffing is done mix it and chicken along with a small can cream of celery soup and sm can cream of mushroom soup. After its mixed spread in a lightly greased casserole dish. Sprinkle favorite bread crumbs and lightly drizzle with melted butter. 400 degrees until warmed through 30ish minutes) and voila!!!! Quick dinner, YUMMY, and uses leftovers!!!!
I've been thinking all winter break that my kids go back to school on Wednesday but I saw on the news yesterday that they go back on Thursday... life of a mom lol #onemoreday

Dryer balls?! Tell me more! Can I use them with cloth diapers?
THE WADS I've been using dryer balls with my cloth diapers for a few weeks now and it works great!
Thanks so much for letting me know! I've never even heard of dryer balls! I didn't know if they had some kind of fabric softener in them or something!
THE WADS no softener on them. In fact they cut out softener.
I've used dryer balls on my cloth diapers for almost 5 years now with no problems at all.
I could listen to shaylee talk for ever. She's so darn cute. I had to re watch that part twice. Oh and so now you got me wanting planner stickers.

I've been thinking all winter break that my kids go back to school on Wednesday but I saw on the news yesterday that they go back on Thursday... life of a mom lol #onemoreday
Hi. I love watching you and your family channel. How much snow do y'all get in Utah? Have you thought about getting a snowblower? I live in Cincinnati OH. If we get 2 inches we panic here. Crazy right. lol. Love your planner too.
I love watching your videos. Too bad we live so far apart. I'm sure we would be fast friends. Thanks for sharing with us you give so much inspiration!
Thanks for the tip with dryer balls.👍
What's the name of the dryer balls you use?
Brooklynn Richards from Norwex.
Jenny M thanks
Happy New Years family💕
i just love your vlogs...
You got the rug I liked!
this was great I loved it thumbs up
Snow looks so benign( from an indoor point of view) but it fights back when you are out there flake to shovel, so ,so funny watching you -all speeded up, hard at it - been there and done it myself as the little lane I live on is too narrow and steep for snow ploughs to get through. My shovelling days are over for the while as I've just started kidney dialysis and it kinda wipes me out- but I'm hoping to be back to my ,take it all on ways soon.
So I've watched and made a couple of your recipes and yesterday I decided to take down the last of the turkey and ham- I corrupted your chicken cordon bleu recipe as follows-
Layer of turkey
Layer of ham
1 can chicken soup mixed with turkey stock , milk, dash pepper, 1/2 tsp sugar( turkey sometimes bitter) and a shake of garlic powder.- pour over
Layer cheese( of mixed variety but not extra sharp)
Layer ritz crackers mixed with butter and parsley
Bake until bubbly ( mine was 45 mins) covered but removing foil for last 10 mins to brown.
Oven temp 180 degrees.
So cheats turkey cordon blue -
Served with frozen green peas and new potatoes.
It was incredibly easy , economical and tasty. So thankyou for the inspiration.
I'm a recent viewer of RUclips- really only used as a skills reference ( how to's )and music) but I happened on your channel- and it been great to see you meet the day with attitude and verve( even when clearly a struggle) when you keep on keepin on you wil get there!
Well you did ask for comments in the box- I think I've well and truly filled my share of this box. So I'll thankyou again and wish you and your family a happy new year ,hoping this year brings joy and adventure.
Kind regards
Belinda
Just noted my comment has been edited- hope I didn't offend with my observation that the snow clearing was comical- thought you were referencing the silent comedy genre.
As to deleting the mention of kidney dialysis - I'm puzzled, not a good news story ? Or part of a belief system( that I am unaware of)?
Kind regards
Belinda
Love your vlogs.
What kind of planner do you use? Do you use the same one every year?
