Timeless movie contains numerous hilarious gags. Although hardly any story, it shows all the master's mimic and acrobat qualities, in his world of vaudeville & slapstick-comedy, for the ladies & the love of it. Have been watching it for many times, but that guy's still making me laugh!

These new scores (e.g. Mortilla, Carl Davis, etc.) make one lethargic...To prove it, I've shown children, for their first exposure to Chaplin, both versions of a Mutual comedy, first with a modern score, within a minute they became restless, bored, & wanted to leave the room.
