Most women don't care about appearance or how tall someone is, because even men shorter than us, can do serious damage to us, because most men are so much stronger than us. My brother is on disability, and I am still amazed at how strong he is, even with all of his physical limitations. Even elderly men, disabled men, and teenage boys can still be dangerous to us. Women who are attracted to "bad boys" usually have their own untreated childhood trauma, or their own internalized misogyny. So sometimes we end up bringing dangerous men into our lives, because that's what we grew up with. Our "red flag" detectors are broken. But once we start healing our own issues, we start to pull away and stay away from men who are especially toxic and derogatory towards women. We start to realize what actually matters, and what's important, is how men we meet treat others, especially other women in their lives. Are they kind, patient, empathetic, etc? If they want support, are they supportive of the women they interact with? Or, are they constantly threatened by women, constantly putting us down, constantly making derogatory "jokes" about us, addicted to "adult media", still angry at their exes, etc ,etc. Even for those of us who no longer date men anymore, it gets exhausting dealing with men's rage, since it's so commonly dangerous to us once it escalates. I'm from Atlanta, men with money, who dress nice, have popularity are everywhere. I went on a date with a guy like that and he was so boring. He would over talk me, talking about how much money he has, and his house etc. When I would talk about myself my accomplishments, he seemed uninterested. He was only attracted to my body not my mind and it was a huge turn off. I prefer a man who is attentive, loves the outdoors, hunting fishing, is humble, loves God, as long as he is clean and well groomed that's top tier to me.

I'm so tired of all the toxic RP podcasts by "alpha" men, who are just using their microphones as an excuse to spew negative vomit about and towards women, for over two decades now.
Most women don't care about appearance or how tall someone is, because even men shorter than us, can do serious damage to us, because most men are so much stronger than us. My brother is on disability, and I am still amazed at how strong he is, even with all of his physical limitations. Even elderly men, disabled men, and teenage boys can still be dangerous to us.
Women who are attracted to "bad boys" usually have their own untreated childhood trauma, or their own internalized misogyny. So sometimes we end up bringing dangerous men into our lives, because that's what we grew up with. Our "red flag" detectors are broken.
But once we start healing our own issues, we start to pull away and stay away from men who are especially toxic and derogatory towards women.
We start to realize what actually matters, and what's important, is how men we meet treat others, especially other women in their lives. Are they kind, patient, empathetic, etc? If they want support, are they supportive of the women they interact with?
Or, are they constantly threatened by women, constantly putting us down, constantly making derogatory "jokes" about us, addicted to "adult media", still angry at their exes, etc ,etc.
Even for those of us who no longer date men anymore, it gets exhausting dealing with men's rage, since it's so commonly dangerous to us once it escalates.
So our only option is to pull away, or disappear completely. Some of the cruelest men on the planet, are men in positions of wealth and power. Those things never protect women from viol)ence.
But men who are working on their own childhood trauma, and becoming more gentle and emotionally available, helps women and children to feel safe, because boys are also negatively affected by all this misogynistic garbage as well.

I think a lot of us have complex PTSD from childhood trauma, and we need more gentle healing methods. She's a survivor herself and a lot of her members are women, but she's supportive of everyone.
A few months ago I was too angry to recommend someone like her, but I'm recommending her now, because living in chronic triggered mode and anger, is not doing any of us any good, especially for women's nervous systems.
I also recommend Patrick Teahan's channel. He is very kind, gentle, and treats complex PTSD in others.
