Record High Flea Market Sales! Selling off the "no show" locker bought at abandoned storage auction

- Recently we scored when no one showed up at the auction. We picked up a 10' x 20' locker for just $50! And it looks good too, with dust and cobwebs and nearly full of goodies we need to go through.
This is part 8 of what I'm calling the "Auction No Show" series. This time I'm selling off much of the items we've unboxed thus far, and it winds up being a record day at the market. We made a ton!

You are absolutely correct. The danger is not the virus but the panic and fear. I will be 69 at the end of next month so am in the "high risk group" but I know God will not take me until He wants me.

I live in a 7000 population town in the middle of nowhere and they have closed our schools. However we do have a heavy flow of Tourists the summer. PLEASE take care of yourself and family. Be safe and God bless you.
Jack, what you said about the virus is spot on. In 2004 we had SARS. We've had MERS, EBOLA twice, H1N1, and look at Y2K. Panic. What makes this so bad is social media, news stations, radio and all the closing of events. When you put fear into people's lives this is what happens. Hysteria sets in.

Kudos on your public service encouragement. As a Hospice and Home Health Nurse a few hours south of your location, I'd add sensible hand-washing with soap and water, as often as you can. Visit loved ones by phone to keep their spirits up, and to avoid unnecessary stress for those who can't leave their location (ie: nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc.) And follow the guidelines established by those individual facilities.
Maybe with all that money you make Jack you could buy an enclosed trailer just a thought

Hi, here in Canada I don't think we have to worry to much but us older people with health problems will worry a bit the same as any flu. We do have a lot of empty space so that will help to and the stores are going short of things here as well, people are the same world wide. Love you all and God Bless you all. Great sale. 👍😂⭐️❤️🤗

is that 450,000 deaths were people 65 years or older who were already at higher risk.
Even the 45 to 65 group , which was next had, in many cases other conditions which attributed to their deaths.
Covid is bad but not telling people the real facts leads to the fear.
Knowing what additional conditions , age , health, etc lead to those deaths let's us make rational
decisions.
Fear is healthy, but irrational fear promoted by media and politicians is terrible.
Roosevelt said it well,
"The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself".

I live in a town of 12,000 in Missouri, we have been to ever store in the county and there is no toilet paper and I guess people are hording ramen because there wasn't any of that either. I can't eat it because I'm diabetic so I'm poor now. My doctor just sent everyone of my prescriptions in and there in about 15 so I wouldn't run out. The YMCA just sent out a notice that all classes for us 55 and older are canceled until further notice. The Governor just declared a state of emergency today in our state we have 4 confirmed cases. Here is what I really don't understand how many people die from diabetes, heart disease, cancer ect... in one month but nothing is done. I will never understand the government.

Thank your for your message at the end. For those of us who live in smaller place where we can not keep more then a week or so of food and supplies on hand it is difficult to not be able to go and buy groceries or supplies because the store have been picked clean. While I have a compromised immune system I try to not to panic. My cousin literally just gor pushed aside on his weekly trip to the store then trying to purchase baby wipes for his son. Lord this is getting out of hand.

We are having the same issues in the UK, people are panic buying, look after the elderly, they might not be able to get out to the shops so easily.
Here in Ohio rentals close by 5 pm fridays. So you can rent for the weekend as long as it's returned by Monday when they open. 20 bucks, that has probably gone up though.
My brother is in lockdown at a health/rehab place..he went thru chemo and then got a brain virus..now even his wife cannot get in to be with him . It's tearing all of us up.
Then, my trip to Europe the first two weeks of April is cancelled. I'm not panicked but mostly sad and worried for my sweet brother.
Screw the toilet paper..i want to see my brother.
Our Walmart is totally out of toilet paper but Wednesday our local supermarket had plenty but limiting to 2 packages per customer. I stocked up but not a crazy amount.

Hi! Just wanted to say, love your channel! You mentioned at the end of this video, that the Coronavirus was just another flu. The CDC has warned, that everyone should quit comparing the Coronavirus to the flu. The infection rate is greater, there is no vaccine, and we have not built up any immunity to the Coronavirus. Great finds! So happy for your success!
Dang Jack, you tell them seven, which is a hecka good deal, and they walk away and add more things and then come an give you the seven. I just don't have the patience to deal with these people wanting something for nothing. Better off at the higher end markets.
I loved today's video with the ending of your thoughts on the virus. I agree with you. I was just wondering though how many people have over bought of many things and will be returning some of that stuff after the scare is resolved. Get ready Walmart.
Great point. I feel that people are spending money they might need for other things, out of fear. Once sanity sets back in, perhaps there will be a flood of returns. We'll soon see!
Be nice to get a enclosed trailer and maybe another truck, can use one for open trailer and one for enclosed. Double locations at flea market.

20¢ a mile adds up when you are going to a flea market an hour away.
Locker Nuts A closed in trailer would be better because then it’s yours and you don’t have to pay mileage and if you dent it’s yours.
