I met a 91 y/o today. This 91 y/o got married at 23. Had offspring #1 at 25 and offspring #2 at 28. The wi fe passed 12 y/o. Offspring #2 passed last year. And offspring #1 lives lives in Dallas (the 91 y/o lives in Orange County).
Next time someone tries to shame you about how you'll be lonely when you get old because you have no offspring, tell them this story. Or, inform them about how 87% of all nursing home patients have (or had) offspring.
Potential "loneliness" 50 years from now is a terrible excuse to give up the freedom you have today.

I'm 36 and started my family at 32. Your assessment of the 91 year old is a tab bit misunderstood. Sure, I might be bored and lonely 55 years from now. But, those aren't usually the years people are referring to when they tell you that you'll be lonely. If I live to be 91, I will be happy and content with just watching sunsets, going for walks, and talking to people at the donut shop. When people tell you that you will be lonely, they're talking about ages 50-80. By age 50, you've had all the psleeve you wanted. You probably owe a few cars. A boat. A house. Now what? You got THREE more DECADES (on average) to go. What are you going to do with that time? I'll even go so far as to say the gentleman only made it to 91 because he had a family. I'll bet my life if that gentleman remained single forever, he would've passed around 70-75 years of age.

Whatever team was helping him with the production of his channel, they'll bounces as well. His editors, his thumbnail people, all his green screen work, his brand is worthless now.
He can still continue doing his channel but he'll loses the production value unless he does all that on his own, which I highly doubt.
During tough times he put out really good music, maybe he will do that again but no one will collaborate, so good luck with that.
