The Kerala Malankara church right from the beginning was under the Antiochene Syriac Orthodox Patriarch only. St. Thomas has never come to Kerala. Whatever documents people quote regarding the St. Thomas does not mention Malankara or anthing related to Kerala region. It only mentions Hendo or India ie., the region beyond Indus river which is the present day Pakistan region. So this St. Thomas visit to Malankara and converting Brahmins is a cooked up story by the Parangi catholic priests after the 16th century ! Same is the case regarding the migration under Knai Thomman to Kodungalloor. There are no records available to prove this migration. It may be a mistaken identity with the 9th century ( 823 AD) syrian migration to Kollam from Nineveh along with the west Syriac ( Antiochene) bishops Mar Sabore and Mar Aphroth and the merchant leader Marwan Sapir Isso. Later on a group from this Kollam Nazranies migrated in Kollavarsham 345 ( or 1170 AD) to Kodungalloor and were called as Thekkumbhagar. Around that time the Nestorian christians from the Coromandal coast ( Mylapore ) also migrated to Kodungalloor because of the severe persecution from the saivaite community there. They were called as Vadakkumbhagar. Later on because of this Vadakkumbhagar , the christians from Kodungalloor region came under the Church of the East or the Nestorian church from the late 12th century onwards till the arrival of the Portugese. However the Kollam Nazranies maintained their Antiochene traditions and that is why you do not see the chaldean or the syro-malabar church influence so much in the region from Kollam to Chenganacherry regions !. After the arrival of the Portugese, the whole Malnakara church was brought under the Latin church for about 50 years or so and then after the Koonen cross oath again they returned back to their parent Antiochene traditions. Sadly the Malankara Orthodox church got trapped under the lies of the catholic clergy and started deviating from the true church, ie., the church started by St. Peter. The throne of St. Thomas is a lie started by the latin Parangi catholic priests to distort the Kerala church history.

The Kerala Malankara church right from the beginning was under the Antiochene Syriac Orthodox Patriarch only. St. Thomas has never come to Kerala. Whatever documents people quote regarding the St. Thomas does not mention Malankara or anthing related to Kerala region. It only mentions Hendo or India ie., the region beyond Indus river which is the present day Pakistan region. So this St. Thomas visit to Malankara and converting Brahmins is a cooked up story by the Parangi catholic priests after the 16th century ! Same is the case regarding the migration under Knai Thomman to Kodungalloor. There are no records available to prove this migration. It may be a mistaken identity with the 9th century ( 823 AD) syrian migration to Kollam from Nineveh along with the west Syriac ( Antiochene) bishops Mar Sabore and Mar Aphroth and the merchant leader Marwan Sapir Isso. Later on a group from this Kollam Nazranies migrated in Kollavarsham 345 ( or 1170 AD) to Kodungalloor and were called as Thekkumbhagar. Around that time the Nestorian christians from the Coromandal coast ( Mylapore ) also migrated to Kodungalloor because of the severe persecution from the saivaite community there. They were called as Vadakkumbhagar. Later on because of this Vadakkumbhagar , the christians from Kodungalloor region came under the Church of the East or the Nestorian church from the late 12th century onwards till the arrival of the Portugese. However the Kollam Nazranies maintained their Antiochene traditions and that is why you do not see the chaldean or the syro-malabar church influence so much in the region from Kollam to Chenganacherry regions !. After the arrival of the Portugese, the whole Malnakara church was brought under the Latin church for about 50 years or so and then after the Koonen cross oath again they returned back to their parent Antiochene traditions. Sadly the Malankara Orthodox church got trapped under the lies of the catholic clergy and started deviating from the true church, ie., the church started by St. Peter. The throne of St. Thomas is a lie started by the latin Parangi catholic priests to distort the Kerala church history.
