Dope's Acey Slade shows off the gear he uses onstage!
Who should we film with next?
Acey is an awesome guitar player
Awesome video! I was wondering what he used on this recent tour run. Any chance you guys interviewed Virus?
Yup! A video with Virus is coming very soon! :)
Just came across this vid and its crazy avesome! Thank you Acey for all the info AND your positivity =)) I only wish there also was that lovely bass you've played on the FaineMisto festival in Ukraine this July. Cats and coffee are cool =)))
Digital Tour Bus, thanks for the vid again!
No problem at all. Hope you have a chance to check out more of our videos!
it's nice to see some Set-Neck bass love from these guys, espically with the genre they play. I'd love to know what direct he'd be using for Misfits shows. Nice work DTB \o/
Definitely was a little surprised by the bass choice for this genre, but very cool to see! Getting a Misfits gear video would be amazing, but I don't see that happening anytime soon, haha!
Hello! Thanks for the kind words...for the Misfits I'm using Gibson Les Pauls, SG's and a Hagstrom with a Bigsby on it for the 'twangier' stuff. Amps are Huges and Kettner, which have a Red Box DI on the back. Great amps!
I has such a great time! I assure you that should the opertunity allow-we will do a rig rundown with the Misfits too!
And thank you!
That would be amazing! :)
"May I mambo dog face to the banana patch?".....great Steve Martin reference
Thanks for checking out the video!
Haven't seen this dude since that Muderdolls stint he did after homeboy went to jail. Humble dude, cool vid
Definitely a cool/humble guy!
No, no..that was the other guy-not me! ...I was with Joan Jett for the past 6 years before doing the Dope and Misfits gigs this past year.
Acey Slade you didn't play in the Murderdolls? I thought you filled in for awhile? Weren't you in their music video?
I did, but the guy your thinking of is Tripp Eisen, not me-I assure you, ha,ha..
Acey Slade I meant that homeboy lol sucks though, would like to see some of your guitar stuff. Do you have something similar up on your website? And also does that pick company sell those picks somewhere (praying hands)?
Acey i love ❤️
Hey Acey, longtime fan, first time commenter. What string gauges you using on the medium scale?
I thought he addressed the string gauges in the video.
I just watched it again, not for that second bass, just tuning and brand.
knailed Same strings on both.
the D’angelo bass guitars are discontinued but the Hagstroms are freakin awesome!!! and affordable!
