One of the very few shows that gets better each season. The final season was the best. We all miss Opie! I watch it every year at least once and must have seen it 20 times. Never gets old. As good as Mash, Breaking Bad, Dexter... you name it.... among the best and nothing better.
Final season was carried by the last two episodes. I still think S4 was the best. Although every season besides 3 was perfect. (3 Finale was amazing tho)
My theory: this is the episode where the homeless woman reveals herself to be the ghost of John Teller. The rift between Jax and Clay is beginning to deepen because Jax has discovered John Teller's writings and Jax believes Clay is responsible for Donna's death. Clay and Jax fight; Jax gets drunk. Jax has slept in and awakens in the doorway of a mausoleum with the name PATMOS above it. Biblical scholars believe the island of Patmos is where the biblical John wrote the Book of Revelations. (Jax is reading is father John's Book of Revelations in the form of the SAMCRO book). Jax encounters the homeless woman for the first time. She's wearing Jax's jacket and she gives Jax the blanket that he later uses to cover himself before he kills August Marks in the final episode (the protection from his father). The homeless woman tells Jax where to find water to clean himself. The scene where Jax washes his hands is almost like he is baptizing himself; similar to how in some religions the hands and face is cleansed before prayer. The name of the episode is "The Revelator". Jax has not only seen his father John "revealed" through his writings , but also John Teller's spirit is "revealed" to Jax in the form of the homeless woman. Just a thought. Anyway, SOA is one of my favorite TV shows of all time, along with The Shield and Breaking Bad. I can't rate one higher than the other---they ALL are my favorites AND the best shows ever televised!!!
wonderfully analysis, only one thing wrong, the creator of the series already said that the woman is Jesus, or something like that. I like to think the actor who played John later season was already John teller in the funeral, gives another perspective because he is behind Clay and Tig, sorry for the bad English I'm from Brazil
It's Brooke Putner's deceased mother Emily. In one scene Jax looks at her photo when he visits Brooke's father's home after she smashed their bikes. I believe Jax even mentioned that she looked familiar. That's because he had been seeing her as a homeless woman. She was an apparition..
You Donna didn’t want Opie hanging with the club, how tf did he think it would be appropriate to have the club escort her to the graveyard, I think they did enough work getting her there..
Never watched a single episode of SOA until just last week I think they have done away with the show now, no longer making new episodes, correct me if I'm wrong but since episode 1 I've been hooked I watched the last 2 episodes of season 1 today opie's wife death hurt me some type of way and now after seeing the last episode, season finale, I cant wait to start season 2 and see what's in store!!!!!!
When my grandmother died I played this entire song on the way to funeral and sat by her grave listen to this as well when I went to vist her I played this while walking up to grave
@Jason I'm rewatching the show now so I'll pay attention to that but I don't think that everytime she appeared someone died. And anyway, in SoA someone dies in almost every episode. Her being JT is the only explanation to why she only talks to Gemma and Jax.
@mxt mxt No, he appears later on too. I saw him once at the club or somewhere when he was talking in the background to other MC members. The dude was an extra and they used him later on as the face of JT.
I love that show and it's a master in the finales, but i believe that a perfect season 1 finale should have a good cliffhanger. Do you agree? I think here it isn't yet as epic as it bacame.
Nah this sets the tone for the series but little do we know that jax would become something far worse for the club then clay was Lmao.Dude straight up murders everyone (Gemma plays a big part too)

The ghost of JT is behind Clay at 2:27
I think Kurt has said the homeless woman is supposed to be Jesus, but I could be wrong.
wonderfully analysis, only one thing wrong, the creator of the series already said that the woman is Jesus, or something like that.

I think Sutter was making a joke.
People were talking about how often "Jesus Christ" was said in the show.
One of the best shows of all time!!!+
Greatest series there is. No question!
What about Game of Thrones?
@@anthonycampos8057 let’s just pretend you didn’t just say that Anthony.
@@liam4936 hey, which season of SOA is the best and which season is your personal favorite?
@@anthonycampos8057 the whole series is just amazing, personally my favourite is probably season 1 and 2
@@liam4936 season 4 is my favorite. It was Clays downfall and Jax's rise to power.
Time for a change chapter 13 I miss you baby boy Mitchell Allen Grey (MAG) x 2 show who our Abba father is n Jesus mighty name 2024
The moment Jax offically Became Woke
Woke is comatose. Jax transcended bullshit left vs right trash.
Became what?
Lol
You Donna didn’t want Opie hanging with the club, how tf did he think it would be appropriate to have the club escort her to the graveyard, I think they did enough work getting her there..
Hahahaha really they fucking killed her
I think it's because in his mind the club was all he had left to strengthen him at this point.
Dustin Miller just the tip of the iceberg lol
Incredible show, beware of spoilers tho.
Long story short, everybody dies
@@mitchelllloyd8606 2 OG members still alive
Did you finish it ? Best show of all time am I right ? Finished it years ago and it still sticks with me.
Love the music throughout this series.
song is fire!
Best scenes from sons of anarchy everyone????.........this has got to be up there!💯
i was so pissed this whole time bc everyone knew who killed donna and didn’t have enough respect to tell opie
They couldn't tell him.
When my grandmother died I played this entire song on the way to funeral and sat by her grave listen to this as well when I went to vist her I played this while walking up to grave
Death in SAMCRO started with Donna. Ended with Jax.
2:27 that is john teller no way that isn't
It's his ghost
@@csxtrain8666 Nah. Probably just a look alike or they just used this dude as a face of JT later. I'm quite convinced that the homeless woman is JT.
@Jason I'm rewatching the show now so I'll pay attention to that but I don't think that everytime she appeared someone died. And anyway, in SoA someone dies in almost every episode. Her being JT is the only explanation to why she only talks to Gemma and Jax.
I have watched the series a couple of times. Missed JT. Thanks for pointing it out.
@mxt mxt No, he appears later on too. I saw him once at the club or somewhere when he was talking in the background to other MC members. The dude was an extra and they used him later on as the face of JT.
Watching this now, I remember how much I enjoyed their episodes. Now I feel older haha it's been a long time...
If you look at the show as a whole story, best story ever.
Facts
i want this played at my funeral
Okay gimme 1000 dollars i do for you
Damn, I Love This Series 👍🙅👊😈💥!
Great Cast & Great Guest Stars!
I love it and have the whole set. I can watch it again and again. ❤
Une des meilleures musiques de la série
I love that show and it's a master in the finales, but i believe that a perfect season 1 finale should have a good cliffhanger. Do you agree? I think here it isn't yet as epic as it bacame.
Nah this sets the tone for the series but little do we know that jax would become something far worse for the club then clay was Lmao.Dude straight up murders everyone (Gemma plays a big part too)
That chick that Jax gave the blanket represents Death I think
One of the best series EVER!
Kurt Sutter you da Man!!
Thanks Brother
Wendy and Gemma knew what time it was...
Isnt Wendy a lesbian?
The Angel of Death was in The Cemetery with Jax!
He gave Her back the blanket!
The same one She later gave Him in The Final Season!
🙅👍😈
I love watching sons of anarchy it's my favorite show I love Jax Teller 💋💗
SOA one of the best shows with one of the best soundtracks love the songs my favorite is Come Join The Murder even though it was Jax's last ride
Gilligans island , Sopranos , and SOA . The best shows ever .
What about Banshee?

This girl...her meaning...beautiful,She compared in the last episodes of the last season,so fantastic
one of the best finale's I've ever seen this show is gold
Season 3 was the best finale, but the Season 4 finale was badass, and the Season 6 finale was downright shocking and gut wrenching.
I haven't watched beyond season 4, people say "wish I was you so I could be warching the series for the first time".
Brilliant show.

best song for the revelation of Donna's death...revealing the killers, and the future consequences for their actions
John the MFing Revelator!!! SOA was one of thee Greatest shows ever to be on T.V imo Top 5...
This scene kinda shows what was going to take place in the future
Clay realized his biggest threat is Jax that his role of President is eventually going to be on the line
Tara sealed her fate by choosing Jax and not leaving town
Gemma might be able to control a lot of people but realized Tara is going to be her biggest threat
Very powerful scene topped off with amazing soundtrack
19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? 20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. 21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. 22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. 29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, 30 and say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? 34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: 35 that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. 36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Matthew 23:19-39 KJV
Really want to know who this lovely lady is. She's like a kind angel looking out for jax. At the same time, her mystery makes her even more beautiful
Apparently, if I recall correctly, that's Death (or Destiny, something like that)
That scene was pure badass!
One word goosebumps

Ah, the camera man and director did an amazing job with this scene.
You'd think he wouldn't want to make his best friend's wife's funeral all about him...
I mean I love him but he's a total drama queen.
