    Love this!!! So gratifying to watch. What was the white amendment? And, who taught you to garden? This transformation was wonderful! 🌿

    I love that bed and you've done a great job cleaning it up and defining it. Have you considered a Fothergilla shrub, either Mount Airy or Blue Shadow? Oh, those are such great shrubs that can do full sun to part shade, have these wonderful white bottlebrush type flowers in the spring, lovely blue summer foliage, and then turn the most amazing varieties of colors in the autumn. They both get about 4-5' around in size. There's also this new plant I just learned about called Plectranthus 'Gaucamole'... nice variegated foliage that gets about 18" tall with a 22" spread, for the front. And there's also always rhododendrons or azaleas for some pretty colorful flowering shrubs. Just some thoughts for whatever they're worth; whatever you choose will be cool!

    Nice to now have some clean, free space! How much sun does the area get?

      It’s hard to say, I think generally more sun in the center of the bed, but generally part shade all around. This bed gets morning sun but shade in the afternoon

      @@JoshuasGarden maybe something with berries for the birds, like serviceberry, elderberry, or viburnum. Ivory halo dogwood would brighter up and contrast with all the green

    How did you get rid of the ivy on the back fence???

    • @JoshuasGarden
      @JoshuasGarden  10 месяцев назад

      What you saw was actually Virginia creeper, and I did get rid of it on my side of the fence
