I think nail art can be compared to juggling, objectively it seems like it's a such a waste of time, so pointless, yet so much skill goes into it, that it's simply breathtaking, truly inspiring to watch. Just like a drawing on the beach, waiting for a wave to wash it away..

i recommend you start off with acrylic nails because it is cheeper and more beginner friendly. also with gel you have to cure in a lamp after every single step and acrylic air dries until the uvtopcoat but you can use a nail topcoat but it is not as shiny. and sometimes i see acrylic nails under the gel for a base but sometimes not it all depends on the person. and you can use acrylic as a stepping stone to the gel and that is what im doing i hope i helped you!
