@@Niylark It's not a problem, and honestly, it does pretty well. The gun was designed for this (otherwise I doubt that HEATFS and APFSDS would be available). The problem is that in real life, you have a key component on the battlefield : STRONG COORDINATION. As you know, it's not the strongest point of the WT community x). More of that, a this BR, the key equipment in WT is the stabilizer. -10RC didn't had one, but IRL this tank had a very good fire control system. Which is not modeled, unfortunately. It's the same for the AMX-30s. If there are some guys with more knowledge about tanks and specially AMX-10RC and -30s, please correct me if needed.

No derps allowed (sturmpanzers, brumbars etc.), but besides that no rules about your machine. Also of course no teaming up with friends. Just pure skill. And luck of course. If you can get it up as a challenge with your friends, I'll press ph to pay respects.

i want this tank badly cause my uncle was a gunner in one of these in the 90s, my dad could've been but as a pacifist conscript he did very well in his basic and so choose a non combat role. my uncle was a conscript too but did very badly in his basic so didn't get any of his non combat role choices and so had to be in an armoured unit but he actually loved this thing so i now want to get it in this game.
The simplest solution would be to change BR matchmaking brackets from 1.0 difference, to 0.7 or 0.3 difference. The game usually has 40-60k players active at once -more than enough to decompress matchmaking. This would prevent most WW2 vehicles figting Cold War vehicles and prevent the extreme imbalance between vehicles in the 5.7-8.7 BR bracket, wherein an uptier usually spells doom
I think the AMX-10RC uses run-flats like most other military wheeled vehicles these days. That's why it doesn't quite go completely flat. (They're actually working on completely skipping the whole "air" part altogether. ...something Enduro riders have managed to do in the mid 80's already!)
Yes but you can't compare 100kg enduro bike with 13 ton light armored vehicle. Plus those enduro tires are not all good. I do enduro and personaly I use reinforced air chamber. Some of my friends have Tubliss, and other have Bib Mousse. There are pros and cons for each of them, that's why military had chosen a different solution, for different vehicles :)

Yo Phly, I think what you can try with this vehicle is use its Amphibious (I hear it amphibious) and your laser rangefinder to your advantage by like in Kursk go to like A9-C9 (that small land portion after the river) and snipe from there
i think that problem can be solved just with higher BR like a 11.0 and thigs like recoilless guns have to have BR like a leopard and also leo, stb, pattons a everything with HEATFS has to be 1.0 BR and more higher than maus, IS-4M and others (and hellicopters need to be over 9.0)

I mean, I think most people don't have your level (including me), and it might be a good time/occasion to teach us how to play it correctly (even if it's just a basic "what to do, not to do, what to check, how should I play, etc). I think people IRL would love the armor meta too but Modern Vehicles are this way. The titan tier is really 6.3 6.7 because that's the tier of the titan hoovy tonks. Play that BR if you want that titan gameplay.

"let my planers plane" in which you pick a top tier flying vehicle (id sugest something you havent used yet but thats just a sugestion) and go kill chunguskas, otomagics, adats, rolands, stormers and anything else that might be a threat! Well at its BR the HEAT FS is actually not a bad choice... i think it will serve better than APFSDS in most situations... only the primary mbt's at its tier and 9.0 can resist the HEAT, everything else will likely have a rough time.
Part of the reason for a lack of armor meta is the relatively poor damage models for most tanks and the performance of APHE. If they decreased spalling for all shells; added interior features like turret baskets, ammo covers, firewalls, and separate compartments; removed APHE mechanics, and made shells cause WAY less spalling against thicker armor then the game would be both more balanced and more realistic.
Phly, from an Italian fan: it's literally "CENTAURO" not "SENTURO"! In italian you tell the word exactly how it's written ;) . If you want you can imagine CENTAURO sounding the same as MARIO (same accents in same spot of the word)

Actually, wheeled tank destroyers should be more sneakier than tracked no clanking tracks and less loud engine.
I killed that thing with a sturmpanzer first time I saw it so it left a bad first impression.
sturmpanzer can kill all vehicules of the game, i saw quite a lot of videos with MBTs one shoted by this thing
