Thnx for the breakdown, bro! Hah, my problem was that the shoulder just would NOT dislodge from the butterfly, so I shivved the butterfly out and just cut the pegs where they lay. Hahah, I'm jealous of y'all's hand strength, but I got it done, finally! Gotta try RYV Spidey next! 😅
Much appreciated, sir! It's helpful to have tutorial vids like this , a lot of customizers talk about techniques like they're common knowledge in posts, but isn't to first timers
Thanks for the video. I've already fixed my Carnage and Symbiote Spidey with it. I've also done it with AF Spidey, but only one shoulder poped out. I guess I'll try it later cause my fingers are destroyed 💀
Gotta to say I did this mod, works beautifully but unfortunately made my black panther so loose! He was just the right kind of tight but it's all good now he moves like a dream just a bit loose. Spidey works like pure gold. But just a heads up for anyone going to do this. Be careful. Lol. And thank you man made these figures way better!
Thanks for the instructions! I got a little difficulties popping out the arms but in the end I was able to do it. I hope you can share other easy tutorials for other figs!
I'm definitely going to do this when I get my Black Panther, and also the Retro Spider-Man. Since I already have the Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man, I'm going to preform the surgery.
oh wow! thanks so much for sharing this. Will do it to my BP when I get him. No downsides on this? Like the arm falling easier when posing or whatever? Super dope! Can't understand why it's not out of the factory like this 😅. Guessing we can test it with other figures, if we pop their arms and the pegs are super long
I haven't noticed any downside to it. And yeah I can think of a few figures with super long legs like this: gamerverse Miles, AF Spider-man, black series comic Darth Maul, and black series Mando Ahsoka
Dude that was awesome! That helped me very much and immediately did your mod and made it smooth and full range I’m impressed and stoked. Subscribed to your channel immediately after lol😂
Can not wait for my one to come in, it finally looks like a good build for T’chala instead of the weird, short, overused Bucky cap mould, definitely doing this mod and adding the necklace from the movie black panther to it to add some pizazz
This makes me wonder why the arms are pegged into the torso at all when this is clearly the much better option. Did Hasbro think this would make the arms more stable or something? Very useful vid, btw! If I end up getting this figure, I may do this. That is if the regular butterfly joint ends up bugging me. lol
Great tutorial. I'm just concerned if I do this his arms will become very loose. I heard some people say the butterfly joint became very loose after this mod. For others it didn't.
The hot water makes the soft plastic more pliable so you can pop the joint out and back in, but once the plastic cools it goes back to it's normal rigidity. It's an age old practice that customizers have been using for decades. Only thing to be afraid of is user error, not the method.
I've done this mod like 10 times and it hasn't loosened I me, some people have reported that but it's not something I've experienced. Might have something to do with how much you clip off
Can you teach me please how to crack a figure and how painted? Cuz I have tried to paint a figure of mine. With model colors if you heard of them and comes off like a gum. It's really ridiculous 😒

Well I'm glad you found another path to the same articulation destination, brother! I'm gonna do it to my Amazing Fantasy Spidey tomorrow
It's J Hernandez!!
Hey j hernandez
You know it's got to be good, if J stops by! 🔥🔥
@@artman9000x Hell yeah that’s what I was thinking gonna make Amazing Fantasy Spidey near perfect Spidey and I swapped feet for toe pivot!
Important video in action figure collecting history. Hasbro needs to hire you to the head of engineering team 👏🏿
LOL
i still laugh how people just shave off a part of the abdomen to give more range and that still has not been implemented by hasbro.
Much appreciated, sir! It's helpful to have tutorial vids like this , a lot of customizers talk about techniques like they're common knowledge in posts, but isn't to first timers
Wow you took those arms out sooo smoothly!! I was really struggling to get ‘em out! 😅
I've got lots of years of popping out joints under my belt, so I'd hope it looked like I knew what I was doing😂
Thanks for the video. I've already fixed my Carnage and Symbiote Spidey with it. I've also done it with AF Spidey, but only one shoulder poped out. I guess I'll try it later cause my fingers are destroyed 💀

Same here , I stuffed small pieces of paper towel inside then sharpied whatever white showed. Not loose anymore
You're spreading smiles, Nico. Thank You.
Sweet. I’ve seen this mod several other places, but this is the best vid on it. Thank you.
Thanks for the instructions! I got a little difficulties popping out the arms but in the end I was able to do it. I hope you can share other easy tutorials for other figs!
This is your first video? Short and sweet, super helpful! Can't wait to see you upload more of these when warranted. Thanks.
Thank you Nico! This mod just bumped this fig from cool to dope!
I'm definitely going to do this when I get my Black Panther, and also the Retro Spider-Man. Since I already have the Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man, I'm going to preform the surgery.
Will definitely be using this video whenever I get this BP. Nice job Nico. 👍🏿

@@artman9000x I did this with Mando Ahsoka and it improved the figures butterflies so much.
I've seen that cutting the nub can make the arm really loose and that the better mod is lengthening the track
How do you lengthen the track? With a dremel?
@@thecurmudgeon7350 I haven't tried it myself but the video I saw I believe they used a dremel
Dude that was awesome! That helped me very much and immediately did your mod and made it smooth and full range I’m impressed and stoked. Subscribed to your channel immediately after lol😂
Thanks, I did it the other day when I saw your post.
I just got this incredible figure but those butterfly joints are soooo limited. Thank u very much for this tutorial!
This was a really good tutorial Ive had a hard time explaining how I did it😅 gonna have to share this
Great tutorial! You might only have one video, but I’m subscribed for more.
Thanks a lot! Can't wait to do this when my Black Panther arrives.
Super dope and helpful, thanks brotha!
Very dope. Thanks for the tutorial bro!
This was the very first thing I did when I got my Vulcan while back. Idk why the heck hasbro limits their figures 🤦🏿♂️
Thanks for the video , now cyclops and spiderman renew are improved
Nice tip man, I just got this figure in the other day✌️
Amazing brother. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Great breakdown! This will be a standard mod as BP is using the Vulcan/standard body.
Dope! I'm gonna do this when mine comes in.
Great Job! subscribed!
Can not wait for my one to come in, it finally looks like a good build for T’chala instead of the weird, short, overused Bucky cap mould, definitely doing this mod and adding the necklace from the movie black panther to it to add some pizazz
Simple and effective! Great.
You know I’m doing this one! Much better.👏🏻
I did it and it made love the spider man figure so much its now my favorite figure
This makes me wonder why the arms are pegged into the torso at all when this is clearly the much better option. Did Hasbro think this would make the arms more stable or something?
Very useful vid, btw! If I end up getting this figure, I may do this. That is if the regular butterfly joint ends up bugging me. lol
I think that is the case, the joint became much looser after the mod, since the butterfly joint is only being held by one peg and not two.
Great job sir!
Does this works with the AF spiderman right?
Yessir, its just a little bit tougher to pop the arm out, but overall the same process
@@artman9000x sweet! Thanks
Doing this on vhs Cyclops now 🔥 Damn my hands were burning 😭
This is mint! Thx
Great tip!
Great job 👍❤
Damn, great video and very easy too! Thanks again!!
can you do another one with the spiderman amazing fantasy? please, this video is so useful
Thank you! Not hard at all!
Glad the vid was helpful!
He's on the RUclipss! Suuuuuubbed.
pls make more content. i just subscribed
Thank you! I'll try!
I’m wondering if Renew your vows Spidey has the same elongated peg thing that prevents full butterfly range
LOVE THIS! What paint did you use to repaint the glove and boots blue? Would love to do the same thing, looks terrific!
Damn bro that was real easy im gonna have to do it to mine
Trust me bro, it's even easier when you let it warm up for longer and don't have to do it in front of a camera 😂 thanks for checking it out🔪🔪🔪
thank you so much for sharing this, it really helpfull 😊👍
will this make the arm more loose, or prone to popping out more?
Dope video man! Do you think that it will also work for the new Cyclops FIG? If so I'll do Cyk and T'challa at the same time!
Thanks for the video.
Nico! Yesss!!!
Dope content bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎊🎊
Just subscribed 🙌🏾
Thanks, great mod!
Great tutorial. I'm just concerned if I do this his arms will become very loose. I heard some people say the butterfly joint became very loose after this mod. For others it didn't.
Can this be done with amazing fantasy Spider-Man?
Anyone do this and end up with super loose butterfly joints??? I tried it and his arms flop forward and back now, and I don’t know how to fix it!
Excellente amélioration merci pour le tuto 👍
Genius!!! More MOD videos!!!! 🎉
question.. how the new bucky cap, you think it need a shoulder mod like this? thanks.
Does this works with the new Iron spider too?
Makes me wonder if the same thing is limiting the butterfly joints on GI Joe Classified figures?
im a little skeptical ab the performance of the joint afterwards though, won’t it remain loose from the hot water? or does it a somehow revert
The hot water makes the soft plastic more pliable so you can pop the joint out and back in, but once the plastic cools it goes back to it's normal rigidity. It's an age old practice that customizers have been using for decades. Only thing to be afraid of is user error, not the method.
Really Nice
Do you have any tips for getting the shoulders out because I’ve tried twice now and haven’t got them out at all
quick question what body was that denzel curry custom on?
Damn nice
Is this loosen any joints or does it feel as stiff as it was out of the box
I just did this with mine recently
Nico hodge, just a quick question, is the arm loose after you cut it?
I've done this mod like 10 times and it hasn't loosened I me, some people have reported that but it's not something I've experienced. Might have something to do with how much you clip off
@@artman9000x ok thank you, i will try when my action figure arrives
@@artman9000x THANK YOU NICKO HODGE!!! IT WORKED!!! THAT IS NOW MY FAVORITE ACTION FIGURE THANK YOU SO MUCH😭❤❤🎉
@@pandanmoBoB6569 Bro, when you made the modification, how firm were the arms when you finished?
the joints were pretty loose but not that loose@@jefersonmanuelaguilarpanjo4472
Can this be done on the most recent carnage figure?
Im trying it on my amazing fantasy spidey and it wont budge and been soaking it for 5 mins and I still cant remove those shoulders...
Does this only work for the Vulcan body mods?
Does this work on all Legends with butterfly joints?
I tried on Vulcan. It worked, but now his right arm is loose when you hold it at a certain angle
Would the butterfly joints get loose?
What paint did you use for the gloves? Base and black lines.
Citadel night lords blue and abaddon black
Is this with like most Marvel legends?
Bro, I have a question. Is the joint loose after the procedure?
Not in my experience, and I've done this across multiple figures. Your mileage may vary
So I did this and the arms are really loose, they supposed to be like this?
Can you teach me please how to crack a figure and how painted? Cuz I have tried to paint a figure of mine. With model colors if you heard of them and comes off like a gum. It's really ridiculous 😒
I can do something like that, a paintwork tutorial
@@artman9000x I hope you do cuz I want to see how you do it bro
does this damage the figure long term
Does this work for the RYV or Amazing Fantasy Spiderman?
It does on the Amazing Fantasy, not sure about RYV
Every time I try the biceps pop off instead
Followed
It's been raised 3 weeks, is the figure still good??
I mean, does it moves differently aside from the butterfly's?
Still solid for me
@@artman9000x if I get the figure, I'm probably gonna try that somehow
Thx
can you do this with scissors or do you have to use pliers?
You'd need some strong scissors and good grip strength. Pliers/clippers are recommended
@@artman9000x thanks for the advise
Mine broke.😢
does the arm fall off easily after modifying it
No
BIG pause

I lost the paper that had your email and I’ve been trying to find your phone number for so long. I found some thing at least.

Are you diabetic...all shaky and all
Not diabetic. Though it is pretty difficult to keep steady while reaching over a camera and holding a hunk of hot plastic 🤷🏿♂️
Clean and fast!
